Northern lights is growing great. She had a big growth spurt over the last week. She has been growing vigorously this last week. I did some training today on her. Getting ready for the continued growth to come. Everything is going great. In week 9 my 'Fruity Terp' ladies have grown substantially and filled out the space in my HOMEBOX growtent. Therefore its time to do a round of defoliation. I take out my plants one by one and cut off the lowest branches on the stem (the ones not grown tall enough to get good light) and also the biggest fan-leaves (the ones shading the lower part of the canopy). The defoliation will increase the airflow thru my plants, which will in turn help to avoid mold from a build-up of humidity between the leaves. The light can now also penetrate deeper into the canopy now and therefore lower buds will also get more light and can grow bigger. The SANlight EVO4-120 LEDs are doing a GREAT job, my babies love their spectrum and intensity and grow like hell. The nutrients from BIO NOVA work EXCELLENT, all plants have a nice healthy green color. Since we are further in flowering now, I also add PK 13-14 from BIO NOVA following their 'SOIL-CULTIVATION' schedule.

Week 8

She's had a rough start starting off with only one of her coytlions and last week I knocked the pod over and had to put her back together ... i was told from my buddy that it was probably gonna be a slow start with the groedots and this strain and he is definitely right... All good though as I have more weed than I could smoke, so time is not of the essence .. God bless.I hope everybody is doing well and happy going ✌️

And the first week of flower is amongst us, I’m not sure if it’s the fast bud genetics, the living soil, or a mixture of both, but I think the videos say it all, the deep green throughout, day 41 and just look😍. Everything’s been sitting nicely 24/7 Humidity 49~56%, temps 23~26c This week they all received there last top feed, along with a slight bit of defoliation, some massive fan leaves! slightly over watered as you will notice in one of the videos, but I won’t be surprised if they’ve grew another few inches over night.

8/19 (Day 63) - Pretty normal/typical today. Have just been monitoring since the defoliation a few days ago. Environment has been stable, stay around 78/79 degrees during the day and around 73 at night. Humidity fluctuates between 55-60 RH. PH stays 5.8/5.9. I did accidentally feed a bit much and have been watering with just RO water and they have been drinking fine, a few deficiencies and I also lowered my light power by 10%. I may end up changing the res and water tomorrow just because I did mix my nutrients a little hot by accident and took me a few days to notice. Everything is looking pretty good thus far and we are getting closer to finishing! Pretty pleased with my first grow but excited for the second because I have more knowledge and have a few things that im going to correct and do differently. Will be updating throughout the week. Thanks for looking. 8/20 (Day 64) - Decided to just ride out and keep topping the res with RO water, Calmag, and Rootdrip. I think I added too much Calmag last week trying to correct the calcium deficiency I was seeing. Girls are drinking just fine and not showing any real issues. Everything is stays in check. Tomorrow is water and nute change. 8/21 (Day 65)- Woke up early and got the everything pumped out and fresh water and nutrients back in. Definitely over did it on the calmag last week by mistake but doesn't look like any real harm done. Roots and plants are looking good and getting big! All the plants seem at slightly different stages in flower though, not sure if its something ive done or just differences in plants genetically. All conditions are in check and gonna continue to watch them hopefully keep fattening up! As always, tips and recommendations always appreciated!

Hello growers, everything is getting super frosty, but i noticed that almost all hairs are turning orange allready, anyone knows why that is maybe? Other than that the girls are coming along nicely. My camera broke so i'm using my phone this week, sorry if bad quality Good growing everyone 👍😀

Still just runnof, the rest is in the video, I'll be doing another when they are indoors and settled, still cleaning the tent from harvesting apple fritter.... I'll be updating the comment layout as well in the same style like the rest I have going.

Things going well again, the absolute dismay and fear of finding bud rot spreading through two plants has faded now, haha, the new air circulation setup seems to be doing the job Oddly I've made it through the whole grow to this point without any nutrient burn of the leaves but now that I begin to flush a little nute burn shows up on one plant, must have been some residual salts, only one or two are affected at all :)
