Hi GD Buddies. Another week down on this new strain for me to enjoy and wow am I enjoying watching theses gorgeous flowers flourish. They are creating very hairy and dense looking bud structures that have begun forming up into longer stem filling flowers that are also really kicking out a nice heavy scent of quailty Terps and aromas too. The glow space absolutely pongs of weed and my filters are throwing their hands up in the air in submission !!!. What a beautiful profile it is leaving behind too. One of the plants is beginning to show more colouring on the pistols now so I expect thosnwill begin a new flush of pure white ones to swrll the duds even more . The contrasts are so aesthetic looking over the buds and I can see why this strain was put forward by the guys at Exotic to try. A beautiful choice guys and i look forward to seeing this strain complete its processes and am excited to sample the finished result.

I'm not sure if this will work well or not. But, I decided to scrog this plant out to help keep the height down and to give the inner and lower growth more chance to get some sunlight. I had an extra 5 foot long piece of pvc that I use to water it. Thank goodness for extra pieces! Yes, of course that's a homemade scrog net. It's not easy making a 5x6 net and keep it all tight. It's a bitch, it really is. It'll be about time to reammend the soil next weekend. That should be fun to reach in there. Super happy for long arms for that chore.

(Maybe) final week. Trichomes ckeck looks like there's still some time. Nice color so far. Cherry Gar-see-ya is pretty dark now. For the last 4 days just Flawless Finish and Cleanse. 03/25/2026 It looks like the grape balls are taking the longest of all of them. I should probably remove some leaves so the buds lower down get a bit more light. Also new white stamps on sour fraise buds. Another week until hanging them? 03/27/2026 Sour Fraise and Cherry Gar-see-ya will go to drying the next 24h. Grape Balls of Fire e needs another week.

Day 92: Going to try a week without nutrients. The slurry test was good. I am either over or underwatering. Cannot seem to get it correct this time. However, after last night's watering, she is a lot less droopy. Day 93: no pictures. Added one gallon pH6.5 water with 2 tablespoons Herculean Harvest. Day 94: nothing to report other than she is drinking rapidly and looking healthier. Day 95: added one gallon pH6.5 water with 2 tablespoons Herculean Harvest. Almost no runoff. Day 96: added one gallon of pH6.5 water with nutrients Day 97: nothing to report. Trimmed some leaves that never survived the yellowing. Day 98: nothing to report. Decided to let her dry another day.

Weather is starting to get warmer finally and now we can see she start growing little bit. Nothing issues or anything just little bit worried if she start flowering like in next week cause its already 3 weeks veg to autoflower. 😊

Just water and tea from now on as needed I hope you can see tghe frost!😎, I will be taken better photos in natural light when José, and Maria ( tropical storm's clear out of east coast next week,outside cleaning mould from plants😢

Update week 5

Well I had to break down my tent this week. Long story but I took some clones to do these at a later date. Minor setback but hopefully I will be back up and running again soon. These are the pictures from right before I broke it down.

12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!! 1/2/2024- Germination Day 8 Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water.. 1/3/2024- Germination Day 9 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. 1/4/2024- Germination Day 10 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/5/2024- Germination Day 11 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I am going to change the water Sunday and kick off Week 1, I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/6/2024- Germination Day 12 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Goodmorning growbrethren and sistren, this morning i just decided to top Mac.. Have done some defo (pruning) and some light LST so all the buds can have more light 😎👍 Now it is waiting till the sun comes out, they said its gonna be a sunny day so yeuj! Can feel autumn approaching.. sunlight hours are getting less, sun is lowering...😒 spiders and other fekkers are on the loose.. 😠✊ Must be aware of butterflies , dragonflies and other flying insects as well bc they will put eggs in the plants and then i have fekking caterpillers again(like last year..) they look so beautiful but dont forget, its all a disquise..they are just evil flying worms.. kill em as soon as u see one!👺 happy growing 4all✊ ***KISS! growingtechnique: KeepItSimple, stupid!

We are in week 2 of the flowering. Today I added Bloombastic. The plants forgot they were superscrogged and just grew as fast as before. The height can be a problem in the next weeks, I hope the stretch is over now and they can concentrate on building flowers. Day 36 I gave them some more Bloombastic. And I took off almost every leave and small branch under the net because they would not get enough light and they shall concentrate on getting big buds instead of small flowers. Day 37: Due to size problems I decided not to take a picture of every plant every day but one pictures of all a day. Plus when the flowers are getting bigger, I will stay focused on the growth on some of them (not all, that is business secret 😆). Also I will take pictures of the finished flowers at the end, don't know yet of all or just a few (business secret). But I will definately tell the weight of 'em all in the end so stay tuned 😎 Day 38: I knew I would get size problems again. I brought them all under the net again. A few branches broke during that action. But that's just the way it is. They are too big so I have to find solutions. My solution is "getting them under the net". Kinda works out but I will see the result tomorrow, today it's been kinda tricky not to hurt them. Day 40: I put one branch under the net it was too high and did not get enough light because of that. Should be fixed now. The flowers are coming nice and slowly. I am so excited, I can hardly wait. Day 41: I had to put some branches under the net again.

Elas estão no ponto! 🍀🙏 Finalmente a colheita, elas não tá aguentando o próprio peso, balançando muito com o ventilador e galhos espalhados, praticamente sem folhas e nenhuma folha grande, o cheiro também tá bastante forte, os tricomas tudo branco e começando a escurecer, outra coisa é o foxtailing, vem se intensificando bastante a pesar que a temperatura caiu bastante. Acho que esse é o cultivo mais rápido que tive até agora, 84 dias desde a germinação, contando que tudo o ciclo foi 18/6 é um tempo razoável. Vou fazer a colheita hoje mesmo e pendurar dentro das estufas pois não tenho nada que possa fazer de dryroom. Se secar o suficiente semana que vem volto com mais informações sobre a colheita e o peso final, possivelmente o resultado da extração também, vai depender do tempo que levar para secar o suficiente para fazer a manicure 💅🌱

Day 15 Flower (Day 57) The first day of week 3 of flower. I switched the light recipe in my main tent from the Flower Induction program to the Flower program now when the right girl is in flower. I also gave her 3 liters of pH 6.1 water. The left girl didn't need any water though. That was all today. Day 16 Flower (Day 58) All I did today was to give each girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water. Day 17 Flower (Day 59) I gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 5.9 water today. It's a bit low maybe (added too much pH down and was too lazy to fix it) but should be alright. My pH is different each watering anyway, as I aim to optimize nutrient uptake by covering a broader pH range. The left girl didn't need any today as she drinks a lot less due to being smaller. That being said, she is now hitting the light :/ It was never my intention to grow her in such a confined space, but here we are. She should have been trained differently and vegged shorter to grow correctly in such a small space. I have ordered a new, taller tent which will arrive next week. Until then, she'll be snug, and I don't think I can take any canopy pics for a few days. I started brewing some compost tea following the same recipe as previously (worm castings, rock dust, biochar, lime, bentonite, neem meal, kelp meal, and molasses), but I upped the castings, the neem, and the kelp. Long overdue as it was over two weeks since last time. I will feed this tea (unfiltered) tomorrow after 24 hrs of brewing. Day 18 Flower (Day 60) Today I gave each girl 3 liters of pH 6.3 compost tea that brewed for 26 hours. I also added a few tablespoons worth of alfalfa seeds that I ran through a blender first to beat up into a powder. I didn't filter the tea, so all ingredients ended up as a top dressing that will get watered in as time goes. The small tent is packed, and the girl is pressing up against the light. It got to hold out until next week, so it is what it is. It is getting a bit cramped in the main tent as well, so I moved up the lights as far as I could without going full McGyver. It's the first time I grow this strain, but she sure is a stretcher. The weather has gotten warm here (finally!), but of course, now my tent is getting even hotter. I'm trying to combat it to some extent by running the extractor fan more. That will get the temp down a bit, but unfortunately, it will also cause the humidity to drop. I put in my small humidifier to help with that, so the VPD is still in a reasonable range. Day 19 Flower (Day 61) I defoliated the right girl today by removing some leaves and branches low down where the lights don't reach. The left girl must also be done, but I'll work on her when she is between tents next week. I also gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water. That was it for today. Day 20 Flower (Day 62) All I did today was to water each girl with 3 liters of pH 6.7 water. I hope that my new tent arrives sooner rather than later since the left girl is pushing up so much against the light that the top flowers are starting to get burnt. Wonderful... :( I've turned down the light as low as it goes (15%), that's pretty much all I can do except turning off the light completely. Day 21 Flower (Day 63) The last day of the third week of flower and things are moving along nicely except for the crowded tent, but hopefully, the new tent will solve that in a day or two. The left girl is 85 cm tall (17 cm increase in a week), and the right girl is 117 cm tall (also a 17 cm increase in a week). There wasn't much to do today. I gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water and snapped a few pics. That's all.
