Things are going pretty well. Running out of headroom so I may have to rig my light a bit higher before long. The buds are starting to fatten up and in seeing more trichromes each week.

Here we go on another run together and trust me, this will definitely be something different and very interesting as I've been invited to be a 'Test Grower' for Terpyz Genetics. Formerly Terpyz x Kalyseeds who, for those 'in the know', are known for their breeding of cannabis mutations and the results they've gotten. Terpyz has asked me to perform a pheno hunt on two of their new MUTANT strains; DW IBL x (Pablo Picasso | Lemon Alien NL) x Blue Booby and Z.U.P. SWAG V4 Big Purple and I'll tell you... I'm SUPER stoked to get these seeds germinated and begin to increase my knowledge of growing these mutant strains! So how this hunt is going to work is this: Germinate 10 seeds(regulars) of each strain, grow out the plants and establish which are Male/Female, remove ALL males and continue to grow and photograph the females picking out the female of each strain which best represents the traits that the breeder is seeking... sound like fun doesn't it! ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ THE STRAINS: ~ Duckweb IBL X Alien Picasso F1) X Blue Booby F1 ~ ~ Z.U.P SWAG is (SWAG variegated Ultra V4 (Kalyseeds) x Opalo NL TerpyZ Select F2) ~ Description: [Duckweb IBL X Alien Picasso F1) X Blue Booby F1] This line brings together some of our favorite Duckfoot lines. The mother plant of this cross: Duckweb IBL x Alien Picasso F1 had intoxicating Caramel Candy terps with Pine and Fuel undertones. Duckweb IBL from Olympic Seeds pure Indica originating in Afghanistan. It is an inbred webbed landrace with beautiful magenta/pink pistils, good potency and outstanding stability. It has an extremely Uplifting and Happy, Social high associated with Sativa. Alien Picasso F1 is a cross that we made of a super gassy OG Kush-leaning Pablo Picasso and Lemon Alien, both of which are genetics derived from Kalyseeds. Puffin (Super Silver Haze x Tropica Race (Purple Haze X Indian Summer Kaly Duck)) Moon Duck (Ducksfoot IBL x Vanilluna) Description: [ Z.U.P SWAG is (SWAG variegated Ultra V4 (Kalyseeds) x Opalo NL TerpyZ Select F2) ] There's not a lot of information on this strain yet because it's so new but what I've been able to gather so far is, that one phenotype of Z.U.P Swag was a tall plant with a Christmas tree structure had purple flowers, and leaves with prominent purple coloration. It also had good flower structure, and excellent vigor. The only other data I could gather is that the male used was from a Opalo population which was selected in the 2nd generation, with dense flower structure and great terpenes! I'm sure this grow will add to the available knowledge of this strain! ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ WEEKLY UPDATE: 3/23- Week Seven of Veg and the plants, with their plastic pots, aren't losing water as greatly through evaporation as they would if they were in fabric pots. As a result my watering frequency currently is once every 3-4 days and only after checking their medium with a soil moisture probe to make sure that it is not still too wet. I did not water today and only rotated all of the pots 1/4 turn. 3/25- I checked the plants today and went ahead and watered them with .25g of straight well water that was ph'd to 74℉. They are all really taking off now and I have to tell you the DW IBL's are my favorites so far as they just look incredible! 😍 3/27- All the plants medium's were still pretty moist today so watering was skipped. I'll continue my routine of checking their medium daily via a soil moisture probe. Both strains are looking AMAZING with so many different leaf morphology's, and the variegation in a few really is cool looking! Some of the plants remind me of a pepper plant, others of Basil. They all have great vigor and color and seem to be enjoying the 225w from the HLG 225 that's hung 28" above them. The tent temperature when the light is on is staying a steady 78℉, and the RH running 50-58%. I have one 16" oscillating fan moving air and a 6" AC Infinity exhaust fan removing the heat. 3/29- Well there goes seven weeks in veg for the mutants! So far no other male plants have been identified and hopefully it will remain that way! I'm really looking forward to the next few weeks when I'll be moving a couple of plants outside to finish, the remainder indoors. The other two 7.5-liter fabric pots also received double the recommended amount according to the feeding schedule, but they don't show any signs of over-fertilization."

Flattened canopy a little by bending and gently cropping stems over several days. Dropped hours of light to 16 and switched to a spectrum more suited to flowers. Will give her one more week to prepare and develop. INFINITY Dodecahedron is the only platonic solids that has infinite numerical pathways. The Aether. Saturday I switched to 12, I forgot for a second this strain is 100% Sativa, I thought she wouldn't stretch much because the PPFD was high. Never noticed such an obvious change in temperament from a plant overnight, it has been a sleepy, lazy leaf veg cycle for the most part, there are no signs of flowers yet ofc, but just the way she exploded into a more satellite disciplined formation, ITS TIME, so it begins, no turning back now....... my poor electricity bill.

And here we are ready with another flash strain from the Zamnesia Seeds family: Wurlz F1 Hybrid. Ready in 63 days, it was already ready the day I picked the Watermelons but sometimes choices have to be made during the harvest phase. Our two Wurlz immediately show the kinship with the just harvested Watermelon Candy, the shape of the flower, the way of flowering are really very similar, the Wurlz are similar to each other but a little smaller than the Watermelon which were two huge beasts. Here we are around 70 cm but nice full especially one but they are really similar, ripe, full of resin, another really effective strain. The consistency of the flower is really interesting, ladies and gentlemen these flowers were composed in a very short time it seems incredible but that's how it is and the quality is all there, absolutely all of it and to tell the truth something more than average is evident. However you judge with your own eyes, I am just a humble servant of this divinity called Cannabis and I am here to try what good Zamnesia produces and to test its characteristics, come with us and you will taste the light of paradise. Oh the light of paradise my friends... Plant one and two are really very similar, one more productive, one slightly more mature but both came out on the same day, I'm in a tropical area and we're at 40 degrees in the grow, the plants are flying outside around here now, but I unfortunately nothing for now. We will have the video and smoking review very soon. The feeding this time is totally from Plagron, we used the Organic line as we like it with the additives Power Buds, Sugar Royal and the now legendary Green Sensation. In my opinion if I drink it I will become superman, but I won't try it :) Even the soil is Plagron the very simple and cheap Lightmix: my friends reproach me for choosing organic fertilizers but the soil pre-fertilised with a bit of mineral. The little there is the plant absorbs in the vegetative phase and when it goes into flowering the plant eats only organic, it seems cheap and functional to me but I want to try coconut especially the new Plagron product and the associated fertilizers. The plants bounced back after the defoliation and a watering with Squid concentrate and some water that had banana peels soaked in it for a few days. I just got the Fox Farms trio of nutes and will introduce those on the next watering.....probably tomorrow. Now, to search for what the light patches on the leaves are. Hmmmm?

This week temperatures are really high here, more than 3 days above 30° C (86 F) I increased the watering amount to daily frequency. I use raining water that we collect in garden I also added few grains of fertilizer Nitrophoska in each pot, mixed with the soil and provided water. Plant #1 is now 69cm (27 inches) Plant #2 is now 68cm (27 inches) Plant #1 is now 47cm (18,5 inches) Now they all display 9 pointed leaves on new growing leaves of the central stem.

This plant seems to have grown much denser and better than my first plant. I just got the ac infinity ventilation setup with controller 69 for my 2x2, still trying to learn, hopefully grow #3 goes even better. Stay tuned

End of the fourth week of flowering. The stretch being finished and the buds starting to grow, I added a little PK 13/14 to the soup Shark. They are the most advancing in flowering. The buds start to form well, the plant although rather small develop buds that promise to be very interresting.

The EC and others things that you can see in this week were for all the plants, except for the lemons. The lemons were on 1,7 EC and 5,8 Ph and less distance between the plant and the ligth (i put the tgl 60 closer). During this week i use 1 time potasic soap because i had (i hope that it's a had and not have :( ) thrips (you can see some pictures in my last question) Even if the lemons were close to the flush, the others 4 plants aren't, so i didn't want to risk them. I put 15 ml of Maria Green potasic soap for 1,5 l.

Week 4 nutrients and she's responding extremely well. Will continue this dose one more feeding then increase Bloom. I wish I had more space but it is what it is ;) Good news my replacement light arrived and it's installed. :D So satisfying to see the white pistils appearing.

Rainbow melon from fastbuds is for sure a winner.its a cross from fastbuds melon plant they use in a lot of there crosses and it’s crossed with a exotic genetics plant and they are known for really frosty plants. Fastbuds did a great job of capturing the exotic colors and tastes and smell and tricomb density from the exotic genetics plant and then it added with the large melon nugs to be a really great plant. I already got another pack of the rainbow melon seeds my goal is to breed a good pheno of it with my gas tax x Obama Runtz seeds that I have that grow som killer. I would hope crossing with this plant would bring some colors and larger nugs to the party. This plant is amazing I would suggest growing it. Super strong plant super sturdy large nugs with super strong smell and super stick

D13 - BOOM! The new #1 had made her modest appearance. Only the top of the seed is visible so far, but it's a start. :) #2 is moving along nicely, quietly doing her thing. D14 - #1 is still shy and hasn't fully emerged yet, but she is at least poking up more than yesterday, so there's progress at least. #2 is doing great, and I like her structure. Short and stout with large leaves and very short internodal spacing. She is 7 cm tall but already 11 cm wide. I also cut back the cover crop as it was getting a bit wild and partly overshadowed the girls. Since starting the grow, I have yet to water the girls properly, but they did get a little bit a couple of days ago when I had some extra after watering nematodes (against fungus gnats) to our regular houseplants. Better to be proactive than reactive ;) D15 - I started a simple compost tea consisting of worm casting, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, biochar, and molasses. I'll leave it brewing overnight, and then it's watering/feeding time tomorrow. D17 - No idea what is going on with the first girl, but it sure isn't much. The seed has maybe emerged for another two millimeters from the soil, but that is it. The seed hasn't cracked, and no leaves are visible. Hell, I can hardly see the stem. Yesterday, I gave each girl about one liter of the compost tea that I started a couple of days ago. Let's see if that helps, although, at this point, I kind of doubt it. As always, I completely forgot to check the pH of the tea. I have no idea why I keep forgetting that with my teas when I have no problem checking the pH when I use plain water. Oh well. Not the end of the world but something I need to keep in mind for the next tea in a couple of weeks. The second girl looks great, though, so that's something at least. D20 - Alright, it is official. The third girl died as well. The seed never cracked, and the stem went limp. I have no idea why this happened, and now I'm out of Colorado Cookies seeds, so that's that. I have already planted another seed to see if the problem persists with another strain. I will make a separate diary for that one, though. On the positive side is that the remaining girl looks strong and healthy. She is now 9 cm tall and 18 cm wide on this last day in week two of veg. Upwards and onwards!
