Start of week 5 8/20/25 Flushed with sledge hammer : 8/21/25

First week of flower omg so excited

Had to dial back the nuts as the tips of the leafs was yellowing and some clawing to much n I watered with just ph’d water once and once just ph’d water and silicon not as dark green anymore and growth continues started to flower day 26 now on day 30 had a accident to a branch broke off one of the plants it’s still growing well tho

I topped the 2 last plants and started LST on all of them without any problem. The growth was pretty impressive this week, especially for the Wedding Cheesecake which is clearly bigger then the others. I had to add some supports to compensate the height difference between the plants. I removed some leaflets here and there during the week to give some light to the lower branches without removing too much leaves. I increased the light power to 75%. I will probably give them another week and then switch to the 12h/12h schedule. Gorilla Cookies is starting to bulk. She is looking pretty good considering the navy mites from weeks ago. Leaves are deep green from neem oil. Buds should be free of any oil though. So it should not effect the taste when I get there. She has about a month left to grow roughly. She is under the Spider Farmer G3000 light. It is on 100 percent, and everything is running fairly well now. She is drinking a lot each day. Clone 1is growing normal now. Lots of branching. Plus she pit on st least a inch a day in height. So she is growing great. I am not sure what I will do with her. I may move it to a bigger potter then flower it in the tent it was in. It is now just vegging in my autoflower room in a corner under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. Our beauty is now 3 weeks old and has grown to nearly 18 cm tall, continuing to develop strong and healthy. We’ve decided to enhance her nutrition by continuing to feed her with Xpert Nutrients fertilizers, which provide everything she needs for balanced growth. Additionally, we’ve started using CO2 to further stimulate active growth. The daytime temperature remains at 28°C, nighttime at 21°C, and the humidity is maintained at 65%. We are still keeping the light schedule at 12/12, closely monitoring how the plant responds to these conditions. A big thank you to Xpert Nutrients for their high-quality fertilizers, and our CO2 experiment promises to be exciting!

This girl came out a monster, overall very easy and nice strain to grow 💪 The smell coming out of her is trully amazing

Big resinous and compact buds, strong smell of the tent its elongated stems are the buds on top getting fatter every week I hope to be surprised with this girl her looks are beautiful great coloring and leaves to go where I need to let her gain more weight and the amber colors are necessary in trichomes, feeding well and requiring more water than the others, even without pure water 😚

4/10 Fed half strength nutes with epsom salt but no molasses. 4/11 Something I've noticed, feeding really makes the buds grow dense by the next day. It's hard to notice the plants slowly growing at this stage day by day, but feeding definitely changes that for a day. 4/15 More half strength nutrients! This time with epsom salt and a half tablespoon of molasses per gallon.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain.
