Kmintz Flowering Day 63 Most of the buds are almost coming to the finish line. Some larf still needs to be developed with opaque to milky trichomes. The harvest will be done in the next 3-4 days.

Gone to 1.3 EC. Flowers developing in length. Got some issues with heat during the week. The weather here is increasingly hot and I don't have active cooling in my home. Tried to keep temps down but with the temps outside the tent at 25+ celsius is hard. They don't seem to like it much. Looks like they have trouble taking up nutrition.

9/1 Going good prob will chop in a week or two

What a week, So I did a run off test end of last week and they was really high, but I would like to address the DNA Mills cork as I am using this in just one pot (A) to try it out I used 3/4 (B) to my normal coco in another pot 50:50 (C) in another at a 1/4 (D) then when just my normal coco mix ( E) and I havent seen much difference other then the retention of water... UNTILL NOW. So evaluating all my reading I have from run off this is how it WAS sitting running water with an EC 0.7 Ms/cm A - 2.4 Ms/cm B - 2.3 Ms/cm C - 2.0 Ms/cm D - 1.9 Ms/cm E - 1.5 Ms/cm So my conclusion is that I dont like the cork maybe I'm using it wrong somehow I dont know but in my experience, it seems to be grabbing hold of all the salts and not letting go, so this week I ran litres and litres of water through them to bring them down I can only get A down to 1.4 Ms/cm and am struggling to get it any further down does anyone have any suggestions. As for the deficiency I was supposed to I produce the PK booster beginning of this week and couldn't with the run off being so high, well that's what I'm hoping anyways 😂. Plant A doesn't seem to be swelling like the rest (front left in pictures) I'm hoping this is down to genetics if anyone else has any thought I'd love to hear them. Week 4 of flower and it’s been a week for the books. The males gizzed all over the females and we spent the better part of a week harvesting the males for pollen, then defoliating and spraying the pollinated females, then going full sanitize on the entire tent… (that part always sucks). Either way, they’re off to the seed making and generally showing a brilliant, yet subtle pink across most phenos. Gonna be pretty cool seeing how the colours develop on these👌. The fact that the pinks are prevalent amongst all plants is very encouraging. Still early for sure - but… potential for something special👍. Terp. Profiles are becoming quite pronounced now too. So far, we’ve got one that smells of a very sweet sorta pine in female #3 and a definitive baked berrry scent in female #1. The hope was always to balance out the earthiness of the Kush which is classic to the strain in terms of taste, just not overly tasty. Again, still early but we might’ve achieved that here on crossing🤞👌. All told and as long as we keep ‘em alive to the finish - we should have tons of seed and a well defined set of partially drilled down traits. Counting 3 discernible potential phenos so far and can’t wait to see what the clones reveal🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. A full organic grow, started with hermie issues and a location change and many other factors I'm impressed with the outcome. I will say the genetics seem to be prone to easy foxtailing but the overall bud density is arguably my most preferred. About the density of a big marshmellow? I don't know how else to explain it. Either way when it's all dry I will likely end with 3-4oz dry and trimmed. No larf really everything is a size that I would deem useable. Smoke report next!

10/29 Week 9 and she is doing great Continue to keep an eye on the trics not there at all yet Increased her light by moving a plant to another tent and focusing the the 3 LEDs on her. Time to change the nuets she is entering the home stretch. Dropping koolbloom increasing Peak and fish shit/recharge leaving bloom nuets as is just for now. The plan is currently to shift nuets to organic-ish and then just go on water only through finish, couple of days. Will continue to runoff twice a day so all salts continue to be removed. The idea is to allow her to finish clean without starving her, see how it goes. 10/30 Biology should be established, dropping recharge reducing fish shit she is ready to shift. Adding Organic Bloom nuets, strong dose initially (15 ml/gal) then 5ml/g from there. Cocotek reduced today gone tomorrow. See what happens shall we? 10/31 Nuets switched A single feed of heavy nuets and bugs then listed feeds twice a day to runoff as a flush - this is to see if any advantage, watching buds closely, still building, trics not ready still far too many clear of course. She may be a little slow but she needs to finish next week space is at a premium so hoping she finishes faster this way for one thing. Enough stress in the change so should get similar responses from the plant. PH to 6.2 Going to end the Si, no further need of it 11/1 Bud growth really popped over night, noticeable which is great considering the late stage of flower. Continuing on with this feed for today, see how it goes. Update: Looks good going to just water 1 gallon twice a day 10-20% runoff Looked at trics close about 90% white some clear a few amber, very sativa ready large improvement in just a couple days. Last week Ivy two three days

On day 67 of flowering I chopped both plants. Trichomes were mainly milky with some amber. After the chop both plants were hung upside down in the grow tent. The humidity ranges between 57-61 % at 18-20 degrees celcuis. The buds should be dry in about 14 days.

Wow this week has been a super bulking week. Buds are huge and dense when you squeeze between thumb and forefinger there’s no give at all. Very sticky lives up to the GG name. Smell is very strong earthy and almost a diesel undertone.
