01-07-2024 This week has been phenomenal for the Banana Kosher Kush plants, they are loving their enviroment and their nutrients. Our Sugar Bomb Punch seedlings are going but our Lion Holdings Soil is not the best in comparison to the growth we've gotten from our Freedom Farms soil. Again only time will tell and we are keeping a close eye on them as always. Our Auto Power Plant seedlings are showing rapid growth and we will be transplanting them in the next two days to prevent too much shock. Our northern lights are struggling a bit as is our Girlscout Cookies but I will add some variations to feeding to see if that helps.

Welcome to week 1 of my CBD Medi Kush Diary! I have 2 - CBD Medi Kush by Spliff Seeds going in the same tent with 14 other plants (full details on all of the other plants can be found on my "Dude's New Diary to Rule Them All" diary, check it out). But with the CBD Medi Kush I'm also growing 3 - DinaMed CBD+ by DinaFem, 1 - Critical+ by DinaFem, 3 - Cream & Cheese CBD by Seedsman and 7 - Cherry Blossom CBD Hemp by Elevator Supply Co. The 2 CBD Medi Kush plants and 2 of the DinaMed CBD+'s were all started from seed at the same time (all other plants are clones). Once all surviving clones/seedlings were healthy enough I transplanted from dixie cups to small pots (I guess around 1 litre). They were transplanted into soil I had been composting and turning for 3-4 weeks. They really responded well to the transplanting and the new soil. Noticeable growth in 48 hours. The pictures in week 1 were taken right after transplanting (check week 2 and you will see a very noticeable change all around). My plan this grow is to go organic (or as organic as possible). While the soil was composting I added old fan leaves to the mix as well as Recharge, Mr B's Green Trees 'Growth', and Jobe's Organic granular fertilizer. I know, I know, everyone says don't use time release nutes with cannabis. BUT, The Rev said it was fine in his "True Living Organics" book. He actually recommends putting spikes in the flowering pots prior to transplant (I'm planning on trying that too). Recharge and Mr B's Green Trees don't claim to be organic specifically for whatever reason, but the ingredients include pretty much everything The Rev recommends adding to composting soil. Plus I love Recharge, that stuff is great! Organic or not I'll be using Recharge along the way. Here's the setup... First of all, I'll let you know my grow area is in my attic. The previous owners finished the attic with walls lights and even carpeting, but for some reason kept the folding attic stairs. Its pretty a pretty good space, we divide the attic in half. One side for my plants, they other for attic type storage. I have 2 2x4 tents and a larger flowering area (10x12'ish). One of the tents I use for drying only, the other is where I have these babies growing. The babies are currently under a single Viparspectra V300 300W LED. I'm having really good results with Viparspectra LED's. Bang for the buck, Viparspectra is hard to beat. I have a 2nd 300W Viparspectra which is a R300 (more reds) which is better for flowering. I may stick the R300 in the tent as well at some point, but for now the single V300 is doing a great job. In the flowering area I'm running 1000W HPS. The HPS has been kicking ass with the plants in flower now and I'm expecting more of the same with these girls when they are ready for the big time. Side note: I'm running a separate diary for all of these girls. In this diary I'm just going to focus on the CBD Medi Kush specifically. But I did start the CBD Medi Kush and DinaMed CBD+ seeds at exactly the same time. So, in the other diary I will do some comparisons and contrasts between the 2 strains as they grow. So far the DinaMed is taller, but the CBD Medi Kush has beautifully stacked node structure. This looks like its going to be a win-win. Please follow and comment away!!! 50/50 Hydrogen Peroxide

Week three of flower is here and the pistils are popping out all over the place now. The final tuck was done on day 14, two days ago. From here I am just letting them grow out, the second net is just to support the colas as they develop and pack on weight. Day 16 of flower: Photographed and took a video. Made it to the end of week 3. She's continuing to grow every day and widen out too. Still only used water until this point but plan on using liquid seaweed this week. Had a few days of sunshine with temps of 28°c which she wasn't keen on and her leaves were curling up so moved her to partial shade and that sorted her out. I'm super pleased to have made it this far with what looks like a healthy plant. Being a newbie and paranoid it's not right. She looks to be on par with most I've seen at 3 weeks. This particular strain is relatively short at around 60cm when fully grown. I'm not growing for big yeilds, just trying to enjoy the process Any tips or hints are very welcome. 1/7 Gave seaweed as a foliar spray and next day she had a few claw leaf tips. Nitrogen toxicity?? Flushed her the next day. Not had any more clawing but keeping a close eye. Barely had any sun for weeks so considering the lack of sun she's still growing. Can anyone give me opinions in how she's looking?

This week she has thrived immensely and continue to grows each day. I have only given pure water because of the excess nutrients she received last week. Looking well so far, perhaps a but of defoliation needed in the next week or so.

Added Exhale c02 and top dressed in each pot with 1 tablespoon per gallon of growing medium my pots are 3.6. I added 3 tablespoons. It is my hopes that with adding the slow release dry amendments and once the c02 bag sarts growing my plants will finally grow. They are short but have 4 nodes at day 21. What is an exhale c02 bag? “The ExHale bag is a patented strain of mycelium that produces an abundance of CO2 without fruiting. This means that when our bag is activated, the mycelium grows, eating the substrate it comes with, giving off heaps of CO2 straight into your garden, and it does all this for 6 months - guaranteed!” At day 25 I am not impressed with the size of these girls? Hope they hit a growth spurt soon? Their internodes are stacked very nicely. At day 28 growth is very slow. Practically none existent since my top dressing at day 23. 2 plants have received a very minimal nutrient burn. As I do not have a soil ph tester? I will be watering with a ph of 6.0 rather than 6.5, hopefully that helps. ONWARD!

She grew 11cm taller this week. Bushed out a fair bit too.

Very Nice looking and good Smelling Plant. Buds after Trim are medium dense but very tasty. Flavourwise it goes into ripe Berrys with a hint of Citrus and Soapyness in the background. The Plant looks exactly like on the pictures High-Giraffe-Seeds shows on their website. All in all definetly a recommendable Plant to grow.

Missing some inlay bug nets, could be more stable.

So this week went great... Things are going super well, and the plant leaves are getting larger - I'm trying my BEST NOT to pull or pinch any leaves that are in the way, as to not stress out the plant! She's drinking well, and I'm making sure not to over water... We're going to be able to start LSTing soon!

Twenty20 Ateam R&D Update! Wow this week went so great, Germination was 100%successful!! We went with the usual paper towel method an they all popped up in the soil on Saturday the 28th! Let’s grow lil babies let’s grow!!
