Learnt some hard lessons this round! Next time I'm adding dolomitic lime to buffer soil aswell as always pHing from now on! Other than the lockout mid flower and slightly smaller buds as a result I'm happy with my first attempt at a actual tent grow. The buds look dense and frosty and under a scope a few are starting to turn cloudy. Next round is gonna be only three as I'm not comfortable with it being so cramped! I reckon I'll let her go another week with feed the I'll do a two week water only flush! Happy growing to all ✌️

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. 😅😅Girls were developed by different methods one were topped when she has only two nodes (third I topped), second was only LSTed. They were transplanted once from 10L bag to 20L bags. Topped roots developed much better then untouched had. Topped growed for about 71 day, and untouched 72. Wife noticed mold on few colas, I cutted them and cut out the affected areas. Bushes were Ripenning for about 12 days, Unfortunately I didn't flushed them at all. So topped girl was putted to hermetic container and placed in freezing camera exactly from cutting. Secon one I putted to growbox under the out fan. I bought vacuum pump and jars, and dry topped by quick freezing method. And untouched was dryed by usual way. After all results are: Wet weight: Topped: 450g buds&stems; Untouched: 380g buds&stems. Dry weight: Untouched: 80g buds, 10g stems; Topped: 110g buds, 13g stems. This is my firs grow, I think its great result. The common mistakes are: uncontrolled environment ph, humidity, and that I stopped plant growing height with early low distance to the lamp. Contando ya los días.. Prácticamente está todo hecho y sólo queda esperar. Ya sólo estoy regando con agua pura con el ph regulado. Estoy haciendo un lavado de raíces de dos semanas ya que busco el sabor lo más limpio posible. El clima del exterior está ayudando mucho y he podido mantener la humedad en los parámetros correctos. Espero cortarlas sobre el finde que viene Muy contento con lo que veo, la calidad promete 🤩

Both seeds were planted on the same day, however, one is growing faster which leaves me to assume that's a male which I am very much happy for…time will tell.

Cut off many big fan leaves to give light for bud sites. Hope I didn’t cut too much. Thinking about flushing for a week. Maybe the yellowing and curled leaves are caused by too high ph which comes from nutrients

As for what I've been doing for maintenance, I've been watching and waiting and just adding water when needed into the reservoir, should be less then 2 or 3 days by now

The weathers been pretty good this week and it's been really dry though so I had to water pretty heavy a few days. I'm glad I put that nut up. It's really catching a lot of filth. One of the roofs came on down, had to readjust it, so that was fun. I got a new measurement this week. She seems to have even down on height.. Ever since I put the canopy up it kind of LST'd did outwards when I was setting it up it rested on top a few times but it kind of worked out.

Girls are starting to really bulk up with bud sites this week. So far so good, everyone but one is in perfect health. My one lady got a little nute burn, but I'm currently flushing her with ph water. Smell is still very weak, and although the ladies look skinny, I think they will fatten up down road. Only time will tell.

Transplanted in the afternoon of 10/23 because they were rooting out of the pucks. Got some humidity dome cups coming tomorrow and another inline fan to handle intake to try to dial in things a bit more. Fugue State #2, in the black pot is still a bit shell shocked, hopefully it opens up soon. Well both #2 and #3 damped off / shell shocked to death, so there's just one left, c'est la vie. #1 is trucking along well and ready for week 2.
