Sep 7: Gorilla Cookies is doing great. It’s the biggest of the four plants with the most uniform manifolding job, it’s also the furthest along in flowering and will be the first one to finish. Hopefully by later this month and that we get lots of sun to drive trichome production. Still doing the 730 nm far red light at dusk as a bloom booster, and I’ll keep doing that until the end. And don’t take flash pics of your buds unless you’re then immediately using a far red light to put them into dark mode. Sep 9: bit of defoliation of lower branches and buds to direct plant’s energy upward and to maintain good airflow especially down low. Used my last bit of Cal-Mag as a few leaves on each of the plants was starting to show a minor calcium deficiency. Sep 10: beautiful weekend is probably the best one all summer with nice sun, no smoke and perfect room temperature sort of weather. Sitting here a minor gust of wind blew her over. This the fifth time a plant has blown over lately but first time for this one. The 5 gallon bags are big enough for what I want but still easy to move around to maximize sunlight. A drawback is the small pot needs to be stabilized by filled buckets. Sep 12: these buds are forming quickly and she is ahead of the other three plants by at least a week. Raising odour level to normal which is probably pretty loud for other people who can still smell most things. The tops are starting to look white when viewed from a distance so that’s pretty cool.

Dear Growmies 😎😎 In flowering week 7 and 8 i reduce bio grow to 2 ml/l but increase bio bloom and topmax to 4 ml/l to harden the buds, especially with sativa-heavy or sativa varieties that need a flowering time of 10 weeks, in this time they need the most phosphorus and calmag. So I'll leave it as it is for the next 2 weeks. The buds continue to swell , the girls continue to shine 😀 so far so good 😎 Thx for all the love and support my friends and growers family 🙏💚

Pests seem to be under control with use of trifecta and insecticidal soap. Applied 1 cup of Jobes organic fertilizer to 5 gallon pots and 2 cups of Jobes organic fertilizer to the plant in 15 gallon container. All plants receive at least 1 gallon of water every other day and 15 gallon plant receives around 2-3 gallons of water every other day depending on rain and soil touch/feel. Decided to grow a bagseed I found of gelato x GMO. While in seedling stage a chipmunk or squirrel tried to bury its stash in the soil and bent the stem over 90 degrees. I taped it up with some medical tape and it bounced right back, which is the picture I have now.

So she really stretched super hard when she geared up for bloom. Over night she hit me with 6 inches of growth. Leaving my grow light far to close for the fragile new growth that was coming in. It was a lot worse mid grow week last week. I re adjusted my lighting SMH. Her tips slightly recovered but They will never fully recover. Other than that... shes stack amazing. Super bushy and LOTS of budsites. Bunch of donkey dock cola candidates. If I can stop beating em up with light intensity. She spans the full 2x2 like a beast. What an autoflower. I preventative treated her again with Dr zhymes. Shes due for another shower mid week. Got her on a solid balanced feed. I will adjust levels as needed from here. Until next update. This week marks the present day at the time of writing since i started the journal on here on oct 6th. Plant A also started to purple up real good. Plant B overall is a few days ahead in flower production i would say, Plant A also stretched for a day or so more - but im happy as to how absolutely even and similiar they grow. Really been an absolute blast and treat so far. Hats off to fastbuds! I stayed at 2.5L watering dosages, Ramping up Grow and Activera to 3 ml/L according to the biobizz schedule. PH in stays at 6,5, Drain stays at 6.1 for both plants. Im happy. They do be looking absolutely gorgeous in my eyes! i kept and keep on lightly defoliating them on watering days, sometimes also in between, but now mainly the small leaves of the bushwork inside that dont receive any light at all. Also, i got a new webcam for better quality timelapse shenanigans. yay! PPFD now sits at around 1000.

Short term memory loss is a m'fer... *edit* i have talked directly to quite a few suppliers/vendors/etc... and i can tell you FastBuds is a great company to do business with. im not licking boots here... i paid for my beans, and am loving these FastBuds genetics so far. JUST LOOK AT IT! a little short, but i think thats my fault from around the day 21ish mark if ya look back in the diary. i told myself i wasnt going to run any more autos, unless it was some odd occasion. but IF i do in the future... it WILL be FastBuds. unless this pink runtz i have ends up being an auto, and if it is.. im going to off the fucker lol. Day 56- GC is trying to catch up. I think stabbing the main helped a lil lol. Few random plucks on WG tonight, and don't even want to start on GC for now. May clean it up a bit later depending on how the back feels. It's got a ton of branches that are going to be too close REAL soon. Kinda f'd GC off over a week ago, and said I'd run it again in the future to make up for it. So not too pressed on how it looks, as long as it stays alive until WG chopping day. Atleast it wasn't a male 🤣. Anyway, bumped the girls up to the "aggressive" mid bloom GHE feed. Using TAP water to reduce the amount of calmag needed since mine has N in it.. Breakdown as follows: 5gal TAP water - 137ppm 15mL calmag - up to 252ppm 10mL hydroguard Micro- 33mL Grow- 33mL Bloom- 47.5mL RES total after PH correction - 818 @ 5.91. ============================================================================================= Day 57- I REALLY need to cut back GC... like yesterday... backs been hurting something fierce, and I'm out of my medicine of choice ATM. few random plucks on WG today. may make my way in there again later and start hacking away at GC. will update pic if I do. Added some great white, wanted to test, a bit late on but what ever, hoing to use next growmore correctly. The hures are smsxing purplish red, dark top colas, almost silver and shiny from all trichromes that just coveres the whole buds and leafs. Amazing plant. Want them to swell up a bit though.
