Sep 7: what a great plant. Totally love how it’s going. Flowers keep getting fatter and heavier and she’ll be done before the end of September. Sep 8: there a tree root sticking up a bit in my yard which means the plant can be tilted toward the late afternoon sun. This is helpful because the sun is getting really low to the horizon already and we’re down to 13 h of daylight. Plus now direct sun is done in my yard by about 6 pm. Indirect light is okay but you really want direct sun at all times. Videos shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds is all it takes to set the plant into dark mode two hours faster. It’s a bloom booster because you get two bonus hours of darkness or a 26 h day. Very effective but don’t miss a night and you have to adjust the timing each night. When starting this on July 20 Civil Twilight, as listed on timeanddate.com for my location, was at 9:45 and today it was at 8:40 pm. The red light at dusk is a highly recommended trick if you have daily access to your outdoor plants. Also works indoors, of course, and on autos too. Also I think it helps ‘stabilize’ the plant by emphatically putting it into dark mode, and therefore less susceptible to stray light to cause a hermie. Have not had hermie problems in four seasons of using the red light so that is my only ‘proof’ but it is true so far, even with taking flash pics before using the red light. Sep 9: getting heavier and now more branches are weighed down and slumping against the scrog net. Nice problem to have, I know, and without the scrog net some of the branches would be breaking off now. She’s now officially too big and too top heavy to keep moving around the yard in pursuit of direct sun. Sun is much lower to horizon now and direct sun hours are dropping too. Sep 10: getting close to done and getting very top heavy. Awesome. Sep 12: raining today. Has been cool last few nights and some purple colour is just starting to show. I don’t want to overdo fertilizer near the end, but I decided she is showing K deficiency. I’m out of malted barley but I still have potassium silicate, so I used that and some cal-mag. I’m avoiding kelp and molasses or using more P at this late stage because that can make the dried bud hard to burn and that really sucks. So, potassium silicate and cal-mag it is. The potassium silicate raises the pH and it takes about the same volume of vinegar to get the pH down. A good does of acetate is likely good for the bugs in the soil too. Then a squirt of Dr Bronners soap as a surfactant and that also supplies some biodegradable carbon for the bugs in the soil. Seems to work overall and is cheap. Everything going well, even supercroped branches are recovered well and hopefully i will push that grow to the end without any hiccups ;))) One Kalini Asia shows some potency for funky colours ! Commencing Week 12 - 4th week of flowering - Day 78 from germination - Day 28 of 12/12 on January 9th Garden is going great! Only minor hold up is my pH and PPM meter has gone haywire today so I have one arriving in the mail tomorrow. I used one of my flower bomb males and crossed the 818 number one and the Branch with a wire tie. Seeds coming soon :-) "You can have change without progress but not progress without change" I am trying a new nutrients called Mega crop. Currently I utilitize a very sterile and all chemical nutrients solution that contains no enzymes no amino acids and no beneficial bacteria and I have gotten great results, and I enjoy not having to do much work, literally no swap outs in this grow so far has saved my water bills and my back. However as I stated there is no progress with change and in line with wanting to get better I am trying a new nutrient called Mega crop which contains many of the things that I have thus far stayed away from. Starting off very lightly and will see what happens either way I am anxious and excited for the next 4 weeks 🤩🤩🤩

Dropped temperatures to 55-60F, added 2 hrs of darkness, and adding only water from 250 ppm - through finish. I guess I have to make them purple? Most trichomes are cloudy, so there isn’t time to freeze them to color. Going to chop in two days and call it a grow! Dumped half the res and dropped ppm to 0 and added FloraKleen. Will chop in a day or two. The bells toll…

Back to moving the plant in and outside. Bad weather coming up😕 This week was average, a few good sunny days but also cold nights. Started up with the green sensation and alga bloom. There are fan leaves that are showing a pretty quick yellowing. Not so healthy and green anymore now 😁This is maximum week 5 of flowering so it's a bit too soon to be losing leaves like that.. I'm Thinking she has a N defenciy because I barely gave grow nutrients since it was in the soil for the first 6 weeks. Second thing is a lack of light for those leaves. the Alga Bloom has N in it so I hope they revocer it a bit. The leaves on the buds themselves look good so it's probably the plant using the leaves for nutrients in this stage. Let me know what u guys think....? Update, look at the video, dirty bugs😠😠😠 caterpillars I think🤔 took away some infested leaves. And some of those fuckers. Hope it doesn't get worse Buds are starting to thickening, she has a little smell on her too by now. They already have some brown pistils on them. Nice plant but I hope the yellowing doesn't go to fast. 1,5L water with 4ml alga bloom and 1ml of green sensation was given this week. Will continue to give this for the next 3 to 4 weeks. Die Auto Candy Bubatz hat einen harten Ritt hinter sich und noch vor sich. Ich habe sie an den heißesten Platz mit der geringsten Luftfeuchtigkeit gesetzt, der mir bei gutem Wetter zur Verfügung steht. Tagsüber in der Sonne und nachts vor einer aufgeheizten Wand. Sie bekam nur noch Wasser und wurde zweimalig gespült. Ich hoffe so weitere Schimmelausbrüche unterbinden zu können und eine gute Reife zu erreichen.🙏 Optisch hat sie sich zu letzter Woche wenig verändert, die Buds sind fester geworden, die Stempelhaare dunkler und es sind ein paar gelbe Blattspitzen dazu gekommen. Es sind nur noch ein paar frische Stempelhaare vorhanden, am obersten Bud. Bie Buds glitzern in der Sonne wie der frische Morgentau (muss meiner Freude Ausdruck verleihen), zeigen aber noch keine Verfärbungen hin zum bernsteinfarbenen, beginnen milchig zu werden. Sie hat nun eine heiße Woche vor sich, in der sie weiter ausreifen kann. Der zwischenzeitliche Schimmelbefall hat mich insgesamt 2-5% der Ernte gekostet. Dieser Grow lehrt mich auch unvorhergesehene Ereignisse einzukalkulieren und geeignete Mittel zur Verfügung zu haben. Ratlosigkeit ist keine Lösung. In diesem Grow ging es für mich darum, die Pflanze nicht aufzugeben und aus den verfügbaren Mitteln Outdoor das beste zu machen. I have placed it in the hottest spot with the lowest humidity that I have available in good weather. During the day in the sun and at night in front of a heated wall. It only received water and was rinsed twice. I hope this will prevent further mold outbreaks and allow it to mature well.🙏 Visually, it has changed little since last week; the buds have become firmer, the pistil hairs darker, and a few yellow leaf tips have appeared. There are only a few fresh pistil hairs left on the top bud. The buds glisten in the sun like fresh morning dew (I have to express my joy), but are not yet showing any discoloration towards amber and are beginning to turn milky. It now has a hot week ahead of it, during which it can continue to mature. The mold infestation in the meantime cost me a total of 2-5% of the harvest. This grow also teaches me to take unforeseen events into account and to have suitable means at my disposal. Perplexity is not a solution. In this grow, it was important for me not to give up on the plant and to make the best of the available outdoor resources.
