La Vanilla Frosting es la más destacada de todas las variedades de Gelato 🍦 de los últimos años y tiene un crecimiento extraordinariamente fuerte y resistente 💪.

📆 Semana 8:
Continuamos con la etapa de engorde, esto va que vuela 😍, la resina esta muy presente ❄️ , el cogollo central es impresionante
Esta semana seguira el TS-3000 de MarshHydro al 100% y 30cm de distancia.
Se estan desarrollando mejor que nunca, con una floracion mucho mas rapida, noto una gran mejoria gracias al Marshydro TS-3000.
Se que va bien de nutrientes, ya aclarando
Continuo con defoliaciones
Aplico una solución con nutrientes EC 1500 y otra con agua del grifo reposada y PH 6.6

Week 16 unfolds with a sense of closure and accomplishment as we approach the final stages of this remarkable journey.
Throughout the week, the plants have undergone a meticulous flushing process with RO water, purging the last remnants of nutrients from the soil. This intentional cleansing is met with a positive response from our plant, as she gracefully transitions into the closing chapter of her life cycle. The effects of the flushing are vividly apparent as she starts to reveal her autumn colors. A captivating mix of purple and sandy brownish hues is painting her buds, creating a visual symphony that signifies the culmination of her growth.
In assessing her readiness for harvest, the trichomes provide valuable insights. The presence of approximately 10-15% amber trichomes suggests that we are nearing the optimal moment. However, a few scattered white hairs indicate the possibility of a slightly early harvest—perhaps by a mere couple of days. As we witness the plant's response to the flushing process and the emergence of autumn colors, it's a poignant moment to reflect on the entire journey. The care, attention, and shared experiences have converged into this final phase of growth.
In the coming days, we'll carefully monitor the trichomes and continue to observe any changes in her appearance. The anticipation for harvest is palpable, and every detail is scrutinized to ensure a perfect culmination.

Last day before harvest.

Installed a humidifier outside the tent, set to 55% aiming for a 60% humidity inside the dry tent.

After 10 days of drying she is ready to be trimmed.
While posting this a couple of months later i found out that i totally forgot to make pictures and video's of the trimmed buds 😅
End result #1:
37 Grams of dried buds.
35.84 Grams of dried trim and very small buds, into the freezer.
I would describe pheno 1 as normal frosty, almost stone like buds, smells chemical with hints of dish soap (i really like it!)
I cant describe the taste but it was very tasty out of the box, before the cure, very sad i only had 37 grams of it haha.
End result #2:
Around 70 grams of dried buds.
43.23 Grams of dried trim and small buds, into the freezer for bubble hash.
I would describe pheno 2 as very frosty buds, little bit fluffy, smells very gassy, with a nice sour taste after curing a couple of months.
Very interesting strain, i will definitely grow it again!
I have some trim and small buds saved up from different strains and i will be posting a diary of the full process making hash of them!

what a great strain! great yield and incredible scent! it grew very large buds, due to bad weather and high RH i sadly lost a few of the biggest buds, but still got an awesome yield

Hey guys :-)
First of all I have to say that all 5 strains I have in the tent from Amsterdam Genetic are beautiful genetics 👍 .
This week they were repotted into 8L fabric pots.
When repotting, 2 g of Green House Powder Feeding Bio line were added per liter of substrate :-) .
That's enough until the first flowers start 👍.
Watering was done twice this week with 0.8 l each.
Otherwise everything was cleaned and checked and fresh osmosis water was mixed.

Plants are super healthy. Busted out my Greengro hybrid bloom as it’s higher in phosphorus and potassium to help build these flowers. This has been a very easy grow. These seeds from Spliff seeds have been very healthy all through veg. Check them out and give them a try. The pictures speak volumes about the health of their plants. Now we see what these buds are like. The plants already smell strong I can only imagine how the aroma and taste will be of the buds.

Transplanted into a 3 gallon fabric pots. Cut off couple of the dried tips off the blue gelato, not sure what's up with it, the other two girl got topped left the gelato alone you can see why other than little blue everything is looking as I expected

Mephisto and bighead going into darkness for 48-72 hrs. Then the chop. Big bomb is the last one standing in the 5x4 will begin flushing soon

Here’s the end of Week 6. About 2 more weeks to go. Shes smelling great, looking strong, and will continue to pack on weight from here on out.

She is getting fat! What a great plant she is - again, little to no deficiencies, other than some light burn but I could not complain to have such strong genetics for my first ever grow! Trichomes are not too cloudy, so still a while to go but what an AUTO!

Today i flip the light. 12/12 for the bloom.
The bright appearance of the leaves and the slightly reddened stems indicate a nutrient deficit. In this case I would say nitrogen. But I have exaggerated a bit with my fertilizer use. Accordingly, I flushed the plants today. The measured pH was 4.8. I think I slightly salted the floor. Let's see if they recover.
Day 73: On the detail photo you can see very well how the stem turns slightly reddish and the stems on the leaves as well.
Day 74: The plants look better than a few days ago. They are now growing visibly from day to day. Timely flushing saved a lot, I hope.
Day 77: Last day of the first week of flower. It was a strange week. But they still grow.

Week 9...coming down the home stretch. The buds keep adding more frost by the day.
My dehumidifier stopped working in the middle of the night yesterday, I didn't catch it until evening. I hope it didnt start mold growth. The tent was 80% humidity for about 8 hours!
The smell in the air is starting to become very dank like a very fruity diesel.
