Welcome to my FastBuds GSC grow-off diary! I plan on growing 2 seeds from the same package - one using a 950ml Gatorade bottle dwc system, and the other sharing a 64L reservior DWC. I'll grow them both while trying to be as simiar in techique as i can, but i'm more interested in how the 950ml does, so might not be super picky about doing things exactly the same, heh. I'm making this all up as I go! Enjoy the ride! Week 0 ====== Day 0.1 - 2 seeds in water for 24hrs Day 0.2- 2 Seeds in wet paper towel, in a plastic bag for 24-48hrs until taproot is out Day 0.3 - 24hrs later - one seed has sprouted a tail Day 0.4 - 2nd seed sprouted tail; put both seeds into rockwool Day 0.5 - 1st seed sprouted from rockwool Day 0.6 - 1st seed doing well, 2nd seed no change Day 0.7 - Checked 2nd seed and hasn't budged, so it's a dud. Started a new seed (had 3 GSC, so all good!) Day 0.8 - 1st seed into the 1L DWC bottle! Day 0.10 - 3rd seed germinated - into rockwool to sprout. DWC Prototype ----------------- - 950ml Gatorade Bottle - 2x small air stones - 1/2" overflow tube where i want the water level to be - Nutrient top-feed line The reservoir below is 19L (~15L of solution) with a small 80gph water pump on lowest setting, which will be on a timer for 15 mins every 3 hours (at first - we'll see how that goes). The water pumps nutrient solution up to the Gatorade bottle and the overflow goes back down into the reservoir.

Very few white pistols left. I have started checking tricomes now for peak harvest time (hopefully) lol. 11/9/22 Added tricome pics and video to this week. Starting to turn milky, which is what I want, so I'll be keeping an eye on her.

Start of week 8,flowering, looking for amber trickomes,took off a branch at day 52, trickomes,were mostly milky some clear. I want to know the sweet spot for this girl if you know what I mean. I will post other pics of early cut latter. Also I switched to blue spectrum light only, supposedly it gets more UV light and packs on more resin(higher T H C ) ,Not that it needs more, but in the name of science I am willing to put in the extra effort. 🔎😎

Fantastic week. Lots has changed. Plants are stacking something fierce! I cut out the nitrogen completely this week, qnd that's how it will stay for the duration of the rest of the grow. I have found with autos, i have had the best luck when I push them hard with nitrogen up until this stage in growth. I then cut out the nitrogen completely and up the bloom nutes quite dramatically. For the rest of the grow I will feed every watering. Water at a 6.4 ph. Gro- 0ml per gal Micro- 10ml per gal Bloom- 15ml per gal Bug bud- 5ml per gal Very much looking forward to watching this batch swell!! This is the biggest plant in my grow at 27 inches tall so far! She may pick up an inch or two. Beautiful plant. And a mutant at that. 3 branches from each node instead of 2. Really cool. Great looking plant. Heavy stalk.

I've been waiting for at least some trichomes to turn amber. I prefer to harvest when there are at least a few amber. I took the PL2 3 days before the PL1. Flushed them for a week only

This week I’ve decided to defoliate a bit, I just hope she doesn’t die bcs of it. Had to get rid of some yellowing bottom leaves as well as big, sun blocking fan leaves! Cloudy weather all week but coming week some nice sunny days are expected again! She has a nice pungent spicy smell!

This week I defoliated the plants a bit. The plants have burnt leaf spots so I am going to give them a few watering sessions without feeding them with a PH of 6 next week I plan to switch them to 12-12.

Week 4 of flower and it’s been a week for the books. The males gizzed all over the females and we spent the better part of a week harvesting the males for pollen, then defoliating and spraying the pollinated females, then going full sanitize on the entire tent… (that part always sucks). Either way, they’re off to the seed making and generally showing a brilliant, yet subtle pink across most phenos. Gonna be pretty cool seeing how the colours develop on these👌. The fact that the pinks are prevalent amongst all plants is very encouraging. Still early for sure - but… potential for something special👍. Terp. Profiles are becoming quite pronounced now too. So far, we’ve got one that smells of a very sweet sorta pine in female #3 and a definitive baked berrry scent in female #1. The hope was always to balance out the earthiness of the Kush which is classic to the strain in terms of taste, just not overly tasty. Again, still early but we might’ve achieved that here on crossing🤞👌. All told and as long as we keep ‘em alive to the finish - we should have tons of seed and a well defined set of partially drilled down traits. Counting 3 discernible potential phenos so far and can’t wait to see what the clones reveal🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Green House Feeded one is enjoying life and keeps stretching. Advanced Nutrients one moved to left top corner and she seems to be doing better than last week. Light intensisty is at 90% in 50 cm distance.

The buds are growing fast the weight are increasing you can see on the pictures ^^ I added the plagron green sensation :)

Productive week, finally raised the funds for a 1000w led and a new tent so I've moved my OG indoors to finish her off 👍🏻

This is the final week these ladies see light until total darkness 🕯️💡👀💚🌿 FLUSH MODE has been achieved 🔌🌱☘️🍃🍂🌴💚 the size of the buds on the Colorado Cookies are huge, almost the size of soda cans. They are full of crystals and trichromes covered by much, they are super sticky and solid. The banana blaze is a tall and stalky girl with her buds being dense with hues of purple and really long orange hairs. This one is going to be a great grow for both of them. Hope you all like my grow. Next grow will be a knock out. I've got a few things and a surprise strain. Follow and like then you'll see 👀💚🍃☘️🌴
