This week they came out of the nursery and started to absorb light from their leaves instead of water. Growth is slower with the Northern Lights vs. the Cookies Gelato. “Cookie” is a monster so I will name it “Cookie Monster”, and The Northern Lights is called “Noel” because she will be ready around Christmas… When I was young we used to get “Christmas Buds” around the second half of December, which was Original Northern Lights. It’s a childhood dream of mine to grow Northern Lights, so I’m so excited for her to grow up big and strong.😛

just started watering with easy pk formula from plagron, and did a realy easy tuck under net and that is it, i expected more from this plant let see. I started another plant this is photoperiod Bubba island Kush from Dutch passion, i realy hope this will go good,soil is the same as the other/the first plant, i ordered Digital Luxmeter , and this is going to be cool- Gardena smart Sensor for soil humidity coz i really want to dial in everything otherwise its a lottery.

First week for our strawberry gorilla from fastbuds 420 We are using the whole feeding schedule from Xpert Nutrients!! Lets see the results from this amazing nutrients!!! We are using 7 liter pots and doing some defoliation and lollipop the next weeks

This Update came a little bit late cuz time issues but here is it :) Last week i had solution issues and the plants go very fast in bad leaf color. The Solution got too warm in the tanks and the water got a bad smell too. I changed the water and made again the 3rd week nutrition and turned up the fan to get a few degrees colder it worked very well. Roots are so far doing nice and have no burns or rotten parts on nice and white. Then i installed the second light in. The week before i give them 400 W MH and 100 W LED. Now we have 2x 600W and 100 W LED each one turned down to 250 W and the going good. But i had only 1 bulb m MH and so im now have a mixed light end of this week i give them 1 tsp Mineral Magic over the stem to get them stronger Mostly of them are Topped and have not bad mooding on the growing stage of the plants. I hope on get a few Tips on what we can do better on the System Best Regards :) and Good Groow @all

Not much has happened, I leave the plants alone. - I put my dehumidifier in the tent this week, it starts as soon as the LF rises above 60%. At the moment it is winter with me and the humidity is very low anyway, saves energy 👌 Day 80 🌞💧 - each plant 3 liter Day 83 🌞💧 - at the end of week 4 I provided them with nutrients again. They have become thirstier and now drink 3 liters every 3 days ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Light - 12/12 h - 560 Watt - 2x 200 Watt Toplight - 4 x 40 Watt Lightbars PPFD - 900 - 1000 µmol Temp. avg. - 24,4° Hum. avg. - 58 % RLH

I love the smell it growing so well in this up and down weather in the tent lol but yeah it doing good and they all have different bud structures and I got a clone from each one I so amped cause I’m crossing this with blueberry Muffins is so terpy it’s crazy lemon and candy

Day 77-84 (April 17th-24th) (Day 78) I honestly cant believe I’ve been vegging this long. The growth for almost 80 days of veg is laughable. I’ve compiled a little list of what has gone wrong so far. - I added too much glacial moraine which made the soil too water retentive - I’ve been foliar feeding too much kelp - I gave too many bloom nutrients for a plant in veg - EDIT: DID NOT WATER ENOUGH AT ONCE The plants have been drooping like crazy this past week and I’m going to try watering in a full gallon per plant. I first thought it was from the medium not drying out enough, soil compaction ect. and I’m sure those are definitely areas where my soil mix could improve but the bottom of the container is pretty damn dry. I could actually be under watering despite soaking the top with 500ml a day. I’m going to sit the pots on some plastic sheeting so they don’t evaporate as much from the bottom and water in a full gallon each making sure I get some runoff. I was going to wait until I get my air pump but fuck it, it’s coming tomorrow afternoon. The pots are so big that they’re not fully wetting to the bottom even with a gallon. I’m going to try to water in a gallon every 4 days while keeping the top soil moist with the sprayer. In hindsight 6 plants in 5-7 gallon pots would be the most ideal. (Day 79) Holy fuck did a full gallon watering make a difference. I should have been doing this the whole time. All 4 plants are praying and stretching upward like crazy. They just look more vigorous and happy within a day. I bet they will be even happier with that supplemental air. If things stay this smooth I should be able to flip around day 84, possibly earlier. Got my air pump in the mail today. This is kind of a shot in the dark so hopefully it works. It’s super loud and vibrates like crazy. First I’m going to try running it 24/7 and see if there is any improvement over the next few days. If it does work, I’ll try running it on my humidity controller so it’s not constantly humming and will only turn on when the humidity is high. I’m going to turn the night time temps down to 70f to prevent root problems now that I’m watering much bigger amounts less frequently and it’s getting warmer during the day. (Day 81/Day 1F) Ever since I’ve been watering in the proper amounts I have seen an absolute explosion in growth. I’ve decided to flip today, now that I’m confident my soil mix isn’t completely fucked. I might run into some N/mg problems during the stretch so I will make sure to give a final foliar feeding around the end of week 1. (Day 3F) So I’m literally seeing dwc growth rates now. Plants have grown more in the last 5 days than the last 3 weeks. If I had stayed at this pace of growth since day 1, I would have an 8 foot tall plant or I would be halfway through flower already. Oh well. Good learning experience. *grits teeth* I’m going to put up the second layer of trellis before these girls stretch out of control. Bbb#3 is seriously stretchy and will likely more than double in size in the next 2 weeks. The other 4 are all quite stout and bushy. I’m giving a light, preemptive defoliation each day and picking off some of the lower sucker branches. I will do a full strip around day 21F.

i used a low dose because for my plants even half strength is often too much, this saves nutrients tho. Around 825ppm, 18 DLI, Ph 6-6,25 thanks to FastBuds and Terra Power!

End of Week 4, Defoliated and more training, first feed at 378 ppm. Humidity is high so added the dehumidifier. Hoping for another week of veg before flower but some are looking ready to go. Just started another journal with Papaya Cookies and Pound Cake.

Day 78 of flowering Stopped adding nutritions to the water after day 71. The plants started to get a bit shady after that, by shady I mean that they been hanging and slowly turning yellow, and getting some spots on the leaves. I almost had an heart attack when i saw that one plant had during 30ish hours turned brown and dried all out - See the pictures. I couldn't see any mold or any thing, so i chopped the top of the plant off. None of the others had anything like this.. The buds are getting so fat that the plants are starting to have a hard time holding the weight pf the buds. Im planing on harvesting during the next week.

Week 5 Veg Report: Croco Mutants A Quick Recap: The journey with my Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco girls has been a ride full of unique beauty and challenges. Here’s a quick look back at our progress: Week 1 (Germination): Using TheCannaKan, the seeds sprouted quickly in a controlled environment. They were then moved to Root Riots with nutrients from Aptus Holland, setting the stage for healthy development. Week 2: The first set of funky leaves began to emerge, showcasing the distinct and peculiar traits that make these mutants so special. Feeding started with Aptus Regulator, Startbooster, CalMag Boost, and All-in-One Liquid—a well-rounded blend to support their growth. Week 3: These funky beauties continued to amaze, displaying different leaf structures and growth patterns. The environment remained stable, and photos with my Nikon and Sony cameras captured their vibrant essence. Week 4: A dip in temperatures brought on slower growth, but the girls adapted well. Organic Aptus All-in-One Pellets were introduced into the soil mix for consistent nutrition, while bottom watering started to combat gnats. Week 5: Slow Growth, Unique Beauty This week has been all about patience, observation, and admiration. The mutants are growing at their own pace, but each plant’s unique beauty and dark green vibrance make it worth the wait. Environmental Update: Temperature: The cold has settled in further, with daytime temps at 18°C and nighttime dropping to 14°C. While slower growth is expected in these conditions, the plants are adapting and maintaining their health. Humidity: RH remains stable at 65%, providing just enough moisture to support their development without creating excess stress. Feeding & Watering: The same Aptus Holland nutrient solution is being used this week: Regulator (0.15 ml/L): Strengthens cell walls, helping the plants adapt to colder conditions and maintain their vigor. CalMag Boost (0.25 ml/L): Supplies essential calcium and magnesium for strong, healthy foliage. Startbooster (0.25 ml/L): Encourages root development and early-stage robustness. All-in-One Pellets : A complete nutrient solution providing the base nutrition these girls need already in the soil. Additionally, I’m continuing with bottom watering, where the trays are filled to let the soil absorb water passively. This has been effective in keeping gnats at bay, especially when combined with yellow sticky traps. Bottom watering also encourages the roots to grow downward, seeking moisture and building a stronger foundation. Growth Observations: Each plant remains a unique masterpiece: Leaves: The diversity of shapes, sizes, and structures is remarkable. From jagged edges to rounded tips, every plant tells its own story. Color: The deep, dark green is a testament to their health and the effectiveness of the Aptus feeding regimen. Despite slower growth, they’re thriving in their own way. Cloning or Flipping to 12/12: I’ve been debating whether to: Flip to 12/12 for a week to induce pre-flowering and identify males and females, or Take clones when they’re large enough and flip the clones instead. Each approach has its benefits: Flipping the plants: Speeds up the process of sex identification but temporarily halts vegetative growth. Cloning and flipping the clones: Preserves the original plants in veg while testing the clones for sex. This method is more time-consuming but allows the mother plants to continue growing. I’m leaning toward cloning when the plants reach the right size, as it seems the most practical for maintaining momentum with these unique mutants. Photography Update: This week, I brought out my Nikon and Sony cameras again, using different lenses to capture the intricate details of the plants. From close-ups of water droplets creating reflections to stunning macros of leaf textures, the results truly showcase their beauty. Why Use a Camera Over a Phone? Lens Flexibility: With interchangeable lenses, I can adjust for macro shots, wide angles, or depth of field, something even the best phone cameras can’t fully replicate. Officially week 7 Dec 31: Came back a week later to very heavy pots, needed 36 hour drying period, not happy, smaller plant has tips of leaves curling down, some like taco, dryed out the pots and went back to normal conservative feeding, need to fine tune the auto irrigation setup before I use it again for sure. All in all, nothing crazy happened. Really cool to see a plant be small, but way bigger after a week of vacation. First grow seems to be going pretty good! PS: I think my hygrometer is broken, saying 85-100% RA even when I significantly improve airflow and it doesn't seem anywhere near that. Gonna do the salt paste test on the hygrometer . Jan 1: I recalibrated my hygrometer and it’s working great, weird leaf curling of smaller plant still happening but seems to be improving, big plant is frosty and fat for week 7, seems to be at same stage in development as smaller plant but the pheno is beautiful.
