Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. We are at the beginning of the 9th week of flowering. The trichomes are slowly beginning to change color. I'm now going on vacation for 9 days, I couldn't have planned it any shittier. But anyway, I've decided to keep them growing and then probably harvest them straight after my vacation.

Since I can no longer get the humidity below 58% and the rust spots on some of the sugar leaves are getting bigger, I decided to harvest . Unfortunately I couldn't wait for the perfect time, so luckily I don't have any clear trichomes , about 75% cloudy ones and the rest amber. 67 Day's from Seed to Harvest

EC Meter broke and accidentally refed the plants double nutes at 1700 EC. Also never measured the pH while flushing with RO water. The runoff is all over the place reading up to 2500EC and 7+ pH. Realized the pH doesn't matter as much but the PPM runoff still is important. Flushed them for a day and transplanted them up to 5 gallon pots to refresh the medium. Also highly recommend dusting your roots with mycorrhizae when transplanting. The beneficial microbes attach to the roots and help metabolize the nutrients being fed for faster root intake.

HELLO GROWING FRIENDS - Please look at my Aftermovie Growvideo, which cost me about 4 hours to create. hope you like it! Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 209 grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I’m really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I’ve gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I’m incredibly proud of my first results! Well looks like these girls are coming to an end! Around 80-90% of trichomes are cloudy, some sugar leaves are starting to get some ambers as well so I’m going to be semi-flushing with microbes and molasses for the bennies over the next couple weeks until chop! Soon after the first flush, the colors started to pop, especially on the leaves! I have also noticed the smell has really picked up, but it’s almost like a ripe fruit smell. Based on the smell I can tell these girls are getting ready for the end of their life cycle. I’m planning to chop soon after week 9 but I will allow the girls to sit in 24-48hr dark period before I do so.

Buds grew nice and strong..acted like a topped auto. There was no real main cola. But, instead there was 5 of near the same height. She didn't grow as expected. But, grew with great vigor. And pushed herself to give quite the bounty. Not a lot. But, what is there is so sticky. Stinky. Very earthy. With a very sweet undertone, can already get the hint of melons or something sweet like that when you grind it. It is an earthy smoke. And no doubt she will truly shine on a 2 month cure. And that's what this small harvest is going. Into the jars for 2 months. I've taken 3g and put it into a small jar, and will give a smoke review on it. After I feel I can justily do so. She glistenings with resin and her trichomes are bountiful. She has a very pungent earthy sweet musk that is lovely. I have vaped a bit. And it was very pleasant. The stone was deep and intense. Like a true indica. She did give a light sativa affect but was quickly washed away with a strong indica body high. 3 months later and the bud developments terpine profile became very potent with a strong pedgiree of a nice melon/earthy/sweet kush. Love this auto. Fattening up. Smelling super fruity and swinging. Added support to the bigger branches. Over the past 3 weeks the flowers have just fattened up and keep getting bigger!

Die Ice Cream Haze performed mega und dass Aroma Profil ist unbeschreiblich. Süß, ein wenig wie Zuckerwatte und Schockofrüchte mit einem leichten Zitronen Haze Aroma. Ehrlich gesagt, kann ich es kaum erwarten, diese unfassbar Aromatische Sorte zu testen. Sehr viele glitzernde Trichome und funkelnde Zuckerblätter. Ein echter Hingucker.
