Week 7 (06/03 - 12/03) During this week I will continue to feed the plants mainly with Bio-bloom and Top-max every two watering day; I will consider to use Bio-grow too according to the status of the plants. At the moment, the Fat Banana #1 is shorter than others about 15cm but more bushy, it's funny because during the first two weeks of their life she was the taller one. During the past week, the Blue cheese has grown a lot reaching the taller Fat Banana #2. At the beginning of this week they both are 65cm tall. I bought a pH tester so, starting from this week, I will also adjust the pH level in order to maintain it between 6.0 and 6.5... better late than never. 06/03 D43: watering day. Added 2ml of Bio-bloom and 1ml of Top-max to 3l of tap water. I've adjusted the pH with 1ml of Terra Aquatica pH- to obtain a pH of 6.4 07/03 D44: - 08/03 D45: watering day. One liter of tap water each (pH 6.4). Note: I usually fill the watering can the day before and store it into the tent to avoid to use cold water. Yesterday I tested the water and I found a pH level of 7.4. This morning I re-tested the water into the watering can before watering and I found a pH level of 8.0!!! I guess that, every watering day during which I only used tap water, the pH level has always been far high. Could it be due to an accumulation of "salt" into the watering can?!? 09/03 D46: - 10/03 D47: watering day. Added 1ml Bio-grow, 2ml Bio-bloom, 1ml Top-max and 1.5ml Terra Aquatica pH- to 3 liters of tap water. 11/03 D48: One liter of tap water each @ pH 6.0. I'm trying to lower the pH because I noticed that the Fat Banana #2 has two/three fan leaves yellowing from the bottom. 12/03 D49: added 3ml of Bio-bloom and 2ml of Top-max to 3 liters of tap water.

W6 - GRETA 🌱is doing well. I defoliate some leaves from top brunches (compare with week 5) just to make the top canopy slightly less dense. That will allow more sunlight receive by lower brunches a specially when they in the flowering period. Slowly buds get covered with trichomes 🎍 Happy times 🙂

Bonjour à tous les padawans et les maîtres jedis Cette plante est vraiment exceptionnelle! Elle représente la force et j'en suis fier 😍 La semaine 4 est déjà la ! Ma plante est saine le LST ce passe relativement bien je l'ajuste tout les jour je le combine avec la technique du pincage d'Apex cela me permettra d'avoir une canopé plus homogène donc une meilleure pénétration lumineuse et par conséquent un meilleur rendement. Le pinçage est une pratique courante en horticulture. Beaucoup de cultivateurs l'utilisent pour améliorer le rendement de leurs plantations cannabiques ou autres. Il est souvent question de 'taille' des bourgeons apicaux. Cette taille se pratique également mais il n'est plus alors, à proprement parler, question de pinçage. A l'instar d'une taille, le pinçage va permettre de stimuler le développement des ramifications tout en préservant les sommités en vue de la floraison. Il est très utile pour uniformiser une canopée. Pour réaliser le pinçage, il vous suffit de presser 'fermement' la tige [entre le pouce et l'index] aux environs de l'apex jusqu'à sentir un léger 'crAck'. Cela aura pour résultat d'endommager les vaisseaux impliqués dans la circulation de la sève [situés dans le pourtour de la tige], la tige conserve toutefois une certaine rigidité. Pour obtenir le même résultat, il est également possible de vriller légèrement la tige sur elle-même. L'interruption du circuit d'alimentation entre le ou les apex et le reste du plant va provoquer un déséquilibre hormonal qui aura pour conséquence le développement des ramifications antérieures au point de pinçage. Jour 25 j'arrose mon pot normalement avec un quart de son volume en eau toujours avec un PH de 6.3 à cette eau j'ajoute 0.7 gramme de greenhouse feeding enhancer pour favoriser son développement racinaire. Par la suite je n'aurai plus qu'à ajuster mon LST jusqu'au stretch et surveiller mon arrosage, Je pincerai mes apex suivant la pousse de la plante pour uniformiser la canopé. Petit rappel de ce que est le LST et comment le pratiquer le plus efficacement possible: Quand commencer à appliquer la technique LST De nombreux cultivateurs commencent la manipulation dés que les plantes possèdent entre 3 et 6 nœuds ou une paire de feuilles. Durant cette première étape de la croissance, le tronc encore flexible est pliable sans risque qu’il ne se casse, même si au fur et à mesure du développement de la plante il sera de plus en plus difficile de le plier. Nous pouvons continuer à guider la croissance des branches durant toute la culture, même durant la floraison, ce qui pour cette étape représente un grand avantage face à la taille, qui n’est pas du tout recommandé une fois que la formation des têtes commence, cela stressera en effet la plante, ce qui aura pour effet de retarder la récolte. Comment appliquer la technique de guidage LST Si nous sommes prudents, la flexibilité naturelle des fibres du cannabis permet de plier leur tronc et branches avec une relative facilitée, même durant la floraison des plantes. En utilisant une corde fine, nous pouvons accrocher la pointe de la plante à la base du pot par exemple ou à un tuteur que nous aurons planté dans le substrat. Nous plierons le tronc avec précaution et nous le fixerons avec la corde, à partir de là, nous pouvons augmenter progressivement la tension de la corde, chaque jour un peu plus, jusqu’à obtenir la position souhaitée. Soyez attentif à la réaction de la plante, essayez de ne pas appliquer trop de pression sur la corde et rappelez-vous que la flexibilité des branches peut varier d’une plante à l’autre. Pour obtenir de meilleurs résultats, il suffit de suivre quelques règles simples. Pour commencer, nous devons choisir une corde fine mais pas trop pour ne pas blesser les troncs au fur et à mesure qu’ils grandissent et qu’ils deviennent plus gros. Nous pouvons utiliser des crochets en plastique souple ou de n’importe quelle autre matière flexible pour éviter d’endommager les plantes. Spécialement en intérieur, utiliser des cordons en plastique de couleur (voir les diaries de @Silky) est très pratique pour voir facilement les accroches et faciliter le travail au milieu du réseau formés par les cordes, les tuteurs, les mailles ou les supports que nous aurons dans la culture. Bien entendu, en culture extérieure et surtout en guerilla nous ferons juste le contraire et nous utiliserons des matériaux de couleur qui n’attirent pas l’attention pour que notre jardin reste discret. Pour stresser les plantes au minimum, la mieux est de réaliser ces manipulations le soir ou juste après que les lampes en intérieur s’éteignent, ce qui leur permettra de se remettre durant la nuit. Normalement, le jour suivant nous pourrons observer comme les pointes des branches que nous avons pliées se dressent de nouveau vers le haut à la recherche d’une source de lumière. Je combine un pincage d'Apex (explications plus haut) au LST cela me permettra d'avoir une canopé plus homogène donc une meilleure pénétration lumineuse et par conséquent un meilleur rendement. These girls are looking great. I lowered the lights down right on them. Don't forget that the bottom half of there soil is 80% coco coir and 20% perlite... I am pretty much treating them like a coco grow at this point so they are getting nutrients every day. Buds are going to swell quick, bet they will double in size in the next week. I have a few rust spots on the leafs but that's normal for Incredible Bulk Autos in flower. I have added some Sensi Cal-Mag Extra to help and raised the ppm to 420-450. I had to bend the tall Sativa girl over because she grew too tall. She recovered without issues.

Hi people! Well, after the last LST, she certainly didn’t pinpoint her final shape .. she almost covers 1 square meter .. there are very, very, very many buds! the smell of vanilla baking) is very pleasant and sweet! trichomes slowly begin to shower buds)) maybe it seems to me! but according to my observations the products of Barney Farm always give the highest result! both during growth and during flowering! at all stages! and most importantly, the resulting buds always blow away the head of any inveterate smoker !!! They are looking absolutely majestic in their seventh week of flower and fifth day of flush, putting on a spectacular show with about ninety percent of their pistils turned fiery orange and rich brown. Temperatures in the tent are sitting perfectly between twenty-one Celsius during the dark period and twenty-eight while the lights are on, while the dehumidifier keeps the humidity locked between fifty and fifty-seven percent. Frost is all over and she smells incredible. The buds are getting bigger and bigger. Cant wait to sample her 😋 She got a little defoliation on day 66, nothing crazy.

Start of week 3, the three survivors are doing great! I did happen to find some algae growing on top of one of the rockwool cubes. (This was my fault for not fully covering the tops of them with hydroton to block out light.) As an attempted fix, I cut some square pieces of black cloth that I laid of the top of the cubes to block out the light completely. Hoping removing their light source, the algae will die off and discourage any further growth. If it gets any worse I’ll try using a hydrogen peroxide solution. Day 17, the three ladies are looking nice. Starting to see some nice healthy roots populate inside the buckets. I went ahead and upped their nutrients today. We will see how they are doing in the morning. -FloraFlex - 1.5g/gal of each V1 and V2. -Advanced Nutrients - 1/2 strength MGB and hobbyist additives. **Algae update: seems like using the black cloth to block out all the light has killed off that algae growth and I don’t see anymore so it’s working!** Day 18, I thought one of my plants had root rot. Which was weird for it to happen that fast in less than 24 hours since changing the res. Come to find out it’s just nutrient stain from the Advanced Nutrients, so thank god. #1 and #2 which are growing with FloraFlex got FIMmed today. I’ve topped plants before but never FIM. Not sure if I did it right, but that’s the fun in all this, is experimenting to see what works. Day 20, #1 and #2 are responding well after being FIMmed couple days ago. I decided to FIM #3 as well. I also decided to leave the 4th one out of this diary from here on out since she’s behind. We will stick with the original three that survived from the start. So far I’m really loving their bushy appearance and thick leaves. Their roots are coming out super nice as well! Pretty soon these babies are going to just take off!

Seen some explosive growth in the past week, absolutely incredible. The damn UKBS 2 is nearly 20" tall - it's already seemingly recovered from the topping I gave it the other day and has started to take off yet again. UKBS 1 is just kind of existing, it's growth is quite noticeable as well but when compared to the other 3 plants is somewhat negligible. I suppose that'd have a lot to do with the much smaller pot that UKBS 1 is in compared to any other plant in the tent. The carl plants are both doing incredibly well, however the one in the 5-gallon fabric pot (Carl 1) is expanding horizontally like crazy; which is great. I think it may end up being one of my indoor plants depending on the size it gets to once everything starts going out. As usual, I'll update the text throughout the week. -3-28 - 3-30 - Been noticing a creeping deficiency/PH issues affecting UKBS 2 but also slightly UKBS 1. Unfortunately the drainage on UKBS 2's pot is horrible and may be contributing to a salt buildup in the soil. Can't wait for the correct weather so I can put her in a big ass fabric pot outside.

Week 15 Day 99 (20/11/2020): Unfortunately did not have time today to take pictures or check them because have been quite busy. Day 100 (21/11/2020): Woow day 100 today, which seems a bit crazy but I think the girls just need another month and they will be ready for harvest. It has been a great grow so far and although 100 days seems like a lot, the girls have definitely come really far. Day 101 (22/11/2020)💧: Measured the pH of the girl today before watering and it was at 5.78 which means it needs to be increased slightly. I wonder why it keeps dropping because apparently the BioBizz soil is supposed to maintain the pH pretty well but I guess she is quite big and must be taking in more nutrients. I also keep noticing that there still seems to be quite a prevalent Calcuim deficiency even with the CalMag and since the pH is not that low I will also be increasing the CalMag for this week to see if the spots on the leaves improve. So I watered with the usual 1.5ml of BioGrow, 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of TopMax, and now 4ml of CalMag. And on top of that I gave 0.75ml of pH+ to increase the pH by 0.5 points. The buds are definitely fattening up more and the trichomes are looking much more dense as well. I also can’t get over the smell, it is so sweet and citrusy! Day 102 (23/11/2020): Not that many updates today actually, just happily growing 🌱 Day 103 (24/11/2020): Every time I come to check the girls I just cannot get enough of Sweet Zkittlez’s smell. It definitely lives up to the “Sweet” in the name. It is so incredible and super sticky as well! I absolutely cannot wait to see how this one tastes, I really think it will be super unique. Day 104 (25/11/2020)💧: Today I watered the girl with 1.5ml of BioGrow, 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5 of Topmax, and 4ml of CalMag. I really don’t think I can do much about the yellowing leaves at this point. I think it is just getting closer and closer to harvest and is withdrawing all the nitrogen from the leaves. I won’t correct for it now and just let it do its thing, I think I am feeding it enough nutrients 😅 Day 105 (26/11/2020): Managed to take some lovely pictures and a video of a close up of those beautiful snowy trichomes. This girl will definitely be a hard hitter – all the trichomes are so densely packed. Amazing progress from last week and the flowers are definitely fattening up.

CRAZY NIGHT (Continued) And not only is Frontdesk girl steaming mad that NX hit it and quit it (apparently she was looking to make him breakfast and then introduce himn to the family!!!), she brought along her rather large brother! Frontdeskgirl sees the Stephanies, they see her, large brother see NX's eyes and everyone puts 2 and 2 together. Stphanie 1 was the first to smack NX accross the face, followed by S2 with a kick to the shin, more from S1, S2 with the assist, NX starts hobbling away. But no! Now Frontdesk girl has made it to the group and shes swinging at EVERYONE!!!! Luckily myself and the others in our group were safely out of arms reach and were able to witness this spectacle alongside the curious morning Montreal onlookers. The stephas start fighting back with FDG, and the brother starts to chase my brother!!! Now in most situations, my brother would get backup, bit there was just too muych going on to watch, the big dude obviously had a bum knee, and my bro had a head start and an athletic build. So, there we were, bags dumped outside the hotel, a classy fight on the sidewalk in front of us, my brother running away into the sunrise, and a whole day of events planned. I picked up my shit, my bros shit, my buddies did the same, and we noped the fuck out of there., leaving the girls to figure that shit out themselves. Never saw the Stephanies again.
