4/1/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Veg (Day 59 overall) Water Change Day!!! Water was really low it was just above the hump in the Res cutting it close to not having enough water in the system to keep it going. They drank a lot making it close going the full 14 days. I am still going with the previous grows and adding 36 Gallons but even looking at the root I think the SILICA is working and the roots are further along at this point than in previous grows. This next two weeks will watch how much they drink and how low my Res starts getting, and will make a decision on changing the water weekly from here on out or still keep on the plan of every other week until Week 4 of Flower. I took so much off yesterday I figure it was a good day to let them rest. 4/6/2023 Week 7- Day 6 of Veg (Day 64 overall) I needed to Defoliate some and I topped a little. The plants might force me to flip them soon. Next Wed is the 10 week mark half way through the 20 weeks. The net is Bingo... Which means that If/when the plants hit the net I will have to flip them. The Net is set to the max height that I can let them get based on the Breeders Stretch report 75%. 4/7/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Veg (Day 65 overall) #3 is 22 inches Tall, #2 is 19 Inches Tall. Net is set at 24 inches. Net is also set as my Bingo point, if they hit the net then I have to flip no matter what to account for the Breeders recommended 75% Stretch allowance. I think I am going to have to flip right at the 10 week mark of the Competition which is Wed 12 Apr. I topped a little, I de-foliated a lot to start getting it ready for the anticipated Flip.

Hi guys, So week 4 now and all 5 should be in flower/preflower stage by next week, the gelatocake are doing brilliant im not so sure about the sherbert mimosa. 2 lights running now so bloomplus bp2500 for gelatocakes and marshydro tsl2000 for the mimosa 550watt actual in ghe room now I Will update the the week and add pics. I have popped 2 x dark phoenix inhouse genetics and 2 x blue cheese from big buddha all 4 photo fems and will be vegging them in the back of this little room lol. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. The plant with calmag looking issues is growing height still the others seem to be not, one I didnt trim much is growing much denser nugs, with Crystal's sprinkling out much more than the trimmed /more trained plants. The middle plant is yellowing hard after I fed it tapwater for the first time in a long time. Lots of pistols starting to darken, I'll check trichomes next week.. might feed once more at least.

Hoy 03/10/2022 siguen en crecimiento sobresaliendo en altura ya que se estiraron mucho al buscar la luz. En el transcurso de la semana las cambiare a una luz mas fuerte y cambio de maceta final que sera de 1 galon que viene hacer 3.78541 litros para ser preciso.

For the most part I’ve been letting this lady go natural, pulling the lateral branches down as the reach the edges of the pot to create two “rings” of even colas. She already smells like gas/chemicals/burnt rubber, and she’s not even partway into flower yet. Ended up stretching vertically so fast I had to adjust my lights due to light stress, she’s the tallest lady in the tent. Major defol already done, waiting for her to get juicy!

Looking good, smelling sweet. I’ve been having the urge to ask people to smell my fingers because it honestly smells THAT good 😂 some of the trichomes have a little amber but she’s no where near done. I want her to bulk up some more. I was hoping the flower fuel would assist with that.
