Trip out of town to check on Buddy (As now named by the helper). Plant looked good on arrival but rather a lot of yellow leaves with the nice looking buds. I removed some of the shaded yellow fan leaves and sprayed the rest with Gaia Green soluble seaweed extract as a foliar spray. Also crushed in one calcium citrate pill. The remaining 0.5 L was watered onto the soil. Within half an hour you could see the green colour coming back to the leaves. Amazing revival trick it seems. After giving that some time which lets the potassium do its thing, I then fed it a final round of nutrients in pHed water (molasses, Big Bud, calcium citrate and Epsom salts). K followed by Ca and Mg. Planning to just use water for next two weeks. It is looking really nice. I had topped it several times during vegetation and consequently there were too many branches/colas happening. Removed four small ones as testers. Tied branches to cage to provide support and resilience against wind (see videos). Also placed logs to buttress the base so it won’t tip over in a strong wind. It was good to see Buddy again and I’ll check in her again soon.

Girls had a great week at summer camp! Smiles are found everywhere regarding their new homes. Plenty of room to grow and wiggle their toes in the amended formula 707, which is doing what was expected retaining moisture nicely, bringing the watering to a minimum. All three girls received merit badges for hiking(survived transplanting), water sports(2 liters), light tolerance(supplemental lighting), physical fitness(color and strength)and kite flying(added a fan). They are all looking forward to this weeks activities. Girls seem to like what they’re getting at the chow hall, green and growing daily, strong and upright. Plenty of good stuff in the soil. A fan was added and the benefits are three fold, dry out the top layer of soil, pest control, makes them stronger. I will update as needed. ***update, the girls are looking good this morning, well rested, well nourished, vibrant. Their roots must be really liking the 707 as evident by the rapid growth. Measured them this morning with the H. W. At8 in. the V. F. at 8.5 and the 91 Grapes at 10 in. And at least an inch wider as well. No water will be needed today. Note. The greenhouse may be better suited for growing mushrooms than cannabis. Pine trees and shade. No direct sunlight until after 2pm. This diary is going to be a day by day if I keep up. Unless I am on vacation I will take pictures every day. Sorry for some of the potato quality pics earlier on. After week 2 or so I'm going to only take pics with my camera flash. The first image is about a day after sprouting. No pictures for the pineapple for the first week as I wasn't sure if it was going to grow or perish. It must have had a mild root infection but it has won the battle against it as of now and is doubling in size daily after a week of not doing much. I am using a uv light in the reservoir. My method is using 3-D printer root sprayers to pump water directly to the roots, I also have an air stone in each 5 gallon bucket. I have an overflow on each bucket to drain the water back into the reservoir. I positioned the buckets on top of chairs to let gravity do its thing there. Humidity has been fine lately so I am not using the dehumidifier. Future grows I will get a controller to turn the dehumidifier on if needed. I wanted to clone these but realized it's not good to do with autoflowers so I have ordered regular feminized purple haze and cbd blueberry for my next grow. Stay tuned!

It’s day 27 from seed for all the plants in the photo sea of green. Let’s call it the battle of the strains summer 2025. All of the plants are starting to have visible differences. I’m already starting to tell witch plants are more sensitive than others.

One week more. The two ladies have developed quite well in the last week and I have now defoliated them again. I think the yellow leaf tips are due to low humidity. The morello cherries auto in the soil also had a bit of bad news for me. There was a small bag of bananas, which I have removed for now and will continue to observe whether new ones appear. With a new cultivar, I can well imagine that it will be even more stable. Otherwise, the morello Cherrie flowers very fast and l'm a little surprised at the low stretch.

Crazy and extremely variable wheater this week but what a runner! In 7 days RG passed the oldest "special kush # 1" growing 2 centimetres a day. Perfectly healthy, I decided not to top her. Starting LTS. Smell will be a problem later.
