I crossed 2 trains Pineapple express and platinum Tangi I crossed it with itself 4 times had put out over 30 seeds all of them popped I’m trying to get the best out of my plant this should be fun

Used royal queen seed fems popped 4 and 3 where successfully. Through veg stage no problems quite sturdy plants growth rate was the same on all round, had abit of nitrogen deficiency. Flower stage everything changed plants started to grow at different weeks and need separate feeds which became annoying, think this was done to pheno types being different. Drying stage: I used this new herb dryer called wedryer for to plants and hung the other in the tent. Wedryer works if you have small yield as can’t fit a lot, drys within a week though but also looses flavour. Have to wet trim bud and then leaves bud flat in one side due to them sitting on the dryer netting. Has fan with carbon filter which stops smells. (But myself prefer hang drying). Used trimbag to finish the buds off love this product and recommend to others to buy.

Gas tax x obama runtz there is not alot to update this week. They have not grown very much the past week. They got extra dark last time when I watered and gave 2ml per gal of grow big. They are still the smallest 2 plants in the tent. They both have started making their 1st set of leaves with 5 point although the other leaves have not started to get larger yet. I don't think they have rooted solid quite yet. Happy late turkey day grow diaries world!!!! It's now day 24 from seed for all the seedlings I have going. The past few days the plants have really started to take off. There roots have really started to dig in. Every other water I am still giving 2ml per gal of fox farm grow big. I keep having to tell myself not to add any more nutes other than that. I don't want to fry my plants but I also want they to start jumping. I'm quite excited for the coming week, I think the next 7 days or so is when the plant really starts to transform and look more like a pot plant than just some random little green thing. A few days ago I decided to move the plants from under my 55w cheep amazon light to under my spider farmer 100w newer version light with the good leds in it. The plants will hopefully be ready to up pot them here soon and get them in the large tent. Sometimes when growing multiple different strains it can be really hard to balance giving to much or to little light. You don't want the faster growing plants to get to stretched out waiting on the slower plants to catch up I spend Thanksgiving day morning transplanting the plants into 2gal pots. I am useing spme promix potting soil it's my 1st time tring this soil. It is actually doing really well the roots were all white and nice looking. I think next time I'm going to add some worm casting, kelp, granular mycos, and a little bit extra perlite. I just didn't have the money with christmas coming to splurge for all the extra stuff. I got rid of 2 plants 1 of the bubble og and 1 skunk apple runtz. There is only room for 10 pots in the 2x4 tent. I will peob only bring 8 of them to flower, always good to have back ups. Yesterday I also stuck the plants back under the 500w medicgrow mini sun 2 in my 2x4 tent. They did great under it the 2nd half the day I was happy they didn't get stressed. I had put them under that light a little early about 10 days ago or so. I am expecting in a week these plants will ge going crazy with growth

Nice buds, coated with frost. Lived through root wrought, so I will give this plant a good grade for disease resistance. I will continue filling in as harvest / curing completes.

I removed the first set of nodes and started to train her using wires applying LST technique.she looks super green and healthy looks like she's loving the super soil that I prepare before the transplant

Just watering plain phd water. She's thickened up quite a bit in the last week.

Day 36 update; Nothing to add. Bit more crystals, tho not too much.. Day 37 update; Looks like the tap water fixed the magnesium problem. And added some fertilizer today. Day 38 update; Progress still be progress. Day 39 update; Trichomes definitely spreading. Day 40 update; Still not that great at holding the microscope still, so pictures aren't really that good.. Strong aroma from the plants now tho, very nice fruity smell I can't quite pinpoint what is, but very intense when I open the tent. Day 41 update; She's starting to pop some purple colour on the top leaves.. Not exactly sure why, as she's had the exact same treatment as the other one, while that one isn't showing any purpling. I'm not entirely against it, but since I'm not sure if it's genes or what, it's a little, well... - Added a few extra pics of the other one, since she's looking a little better bud wise. - Smell in the tent is fantastic.. A little more purple on the leaves, and definitely more progress on the buds as well. - The other one is further ahead, even tho it's only day 39 Day 42 update; End of week 6.. - Getting closer and closer. Harvest gonna be in a couple of weeks.

SUMMARY: The OG has bounced back from the pH issues now after giving all watering/irrigation at a pH of 6.5. I continued with the updated GWE mid bloom nutes for the OG and Sensi Garden peak bloom nutes for the Amnesia. I also continued with some light defoliation this week removing the odd lower leaf and some fan leaves covering bud sites that I couldn't tuck. DAY 78 -------- Thursday 19/11/2020 I fed the plants. GWE 2020 updated Mid-bloom nutes for the OG and Sensi Garden Peak Flower nutes for the Amnesia. Although I only mixed these nutes and pH'd to 6.4 on Monday I always check again before and the readings had changed - I don't think my pH pen is the best (yes I keep the tip moist). I didn't have time to pH again and tbh after spending 30mins doing this the other day it can get to fuck and stay as is. OG (in) = 5L pH 6.4 OG (out) = 1.05L (21%) pH 5.7 [0.7 drop] Amnesia (in) = 4L pH 6.2 Amnesia (out) = 1.4L (35%) pH 5.9 [0.3 drop] The plants look healthy still with no signs of issues and are both a great colour so I think they're doing just fine. The OG has bounced back from the pH issues now and is really blooming fast, much faster that the Amnesia which makes me sad as I will inevitably cut her down early...I think she has the potential to be a beast judging on bud development so far. The Amnesia on the other hand...I'm starting to become a little disenchanted with her due to the very slow progression of the buds - I was expecting bigger buds but I don't think the genetics are the best (freebies from Seedsman). OG (in) = 5L pH 6.4 OG (out) = 1.1L (22%) pH 6.0 [0.4 drop] Amnesia (in) = 4L pH 6.3 Amnesia (out) = 1.25L (31%) pH 6.1 [0.2 drop] The RH has been lower the last week or so and it seems to be due to the defoliation I've been doing every time I water/irrigate (removing a few obstructing/pointless leaves). I think because its such a small space the removal of the leaves has allowed for a constant 15-20% drop and so its right where I want it now at 40-50%. DAY 84 -------- Wednesday 25/11/2020 I watered the plants with pH'd tap water as my rainwater supply has dried up a little. OG (in) = 5.5L pH 6.3 OG (out) = 1.17L (23%) pH 5.4 [0.9 drop] Amnesia (in) = 4L pH 6.3 Amnesia (out) = 1.2L (30%) pH 5.4 [0.9 drop] No idea why there is a drop in pH of 0.9 for both when there has been a steady trend of it getting closer to the input value. But its expected to vary and 0.5 either side is standard I believe. The Amnesia is taking forever to fatten up, if it ever will now at this point. I know theyre only getting 12 hours of light but this is SLOW!

The buds got a little bigger and more pistels are getting orange. The plants are also taking up less water. A lot of trichomes are turning milky or are already milky and a few are amber. They're about to reach harvest within a week or so. First I would like to see more amber trichomes. I've also dicovered a swollen calyx with a seed so there must be a hermaphrodite in the room. That's the disadvantage of a scrog setup. You can't check everything 100% So some buds will have seeds, I just hope not too much. 🤞 This was this weeks menu for the Pineapple Chunks: Day 1 → Dry Day 2 → Each 1000 ml (0.26 gallon) tapwater with Plagron nutrients (see above for which and how much) Day 3 → Dry Day 4 → Each 1000 ml (0.26 gallon) ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.45 – ph 6.5) Day 5 → Dry Day 6 → Each 1000 ml (0.26 gallon) tapwater with Plagron nutrients. 8 ml Terra Bloom, 2 ml Power Buds and 2 ml Green Sensation was added to 4 liter (1 gallon) of tapwater (ec 1.24 – ph 6.4) This was the last time they've got nutrients. Day 7 → Dry From now on they'll only get ph adjusted tapwater mixed with deminiralized water to get an EC value of 0.3 and I'm going to add CannaFlush to one batch next week. Cobs stayed with the same power and height as last week and that was 320 watt at 45 cm (17.7 inch) → DLI 43/PPFD 995 Next week DLI/PPFD will get lowered to 38/880 for 4 days and then lowered again to 35/810 till the end of the run. Voltage, also known as electric pressure, electric tension, or (electric) potential difference, is the difference in electric potential between two points. In a static electric field, it corresponds to the work needed per unit of charge to move a test charge between the two points. In the International System of Units (SI), the derived unit for voltage is named volt. The voltage between points can be caused by the build-up of electric charge (e.g., a capacitor), and from an electromotive force (e.g., electromagnetic induction in generators, inductors, and transformers). On a macroscopic scale, a potential difference can be caused by electrochemical processes (e.g., cells and batteries), the pressure-induced piezoelectric effect, and the thermoelectric effect. Since it is the difference in electric potential, it is a physical scalar quantity. A voltmeter can be used to measure the voltage between two points in a system. Often a common reference potential such as the ground of the system is used as one of the points. A voltage can represent either a source of energy or the loss, dissipation, or storage of energy. Dropping the temps will slightly raise the humidity, air holds less % water the colder it is. Lights on 25-35rh% the same water content will spike to 50rh% + at night just by dropping the temps. At night all the juice photosynthesis has been storing up is mashed and mixed up to make all the goodies we need for bud, water is used to transport all these things everywhere, like little solvent transport devices, once a nutrient/protein has been delivered to destination the plant needs to get rid of all this excess water molecules it was using to transport. The only solution at night is to spit it back out into the air at night. During the peak of flower, this can catch a grower unaware, with a 4x4 full tent it can be a challenge to control all that moisture exhaust overnight especially if you're really pushing the limits. We live in a water world, above or below, our misconception is we live on dry land, we don't live in less watery conditions than above or below. We fit into a very narrow band of moisture that just so happens to be full of lots of air and everything else required for life. Got my first full whiff of the smell of purple lemonade, always surprises me how accurately the smell fits names, the dominant terpenes in the Purple Lemonade weed strain are carene, linalool, limonene, and myrcene. Carene gives this strain its sweet, citrus flavor and some woody notes, whereas the linalool I recognize so well from Granddaddy Purp. Myrcene has been shown to have sedative qualities while bringing musky, earthy elements to the flavor profile. Trichome production started to ramp up, and the plant that grew taller/closer to UV showed noticeably thicker coatings. The taller plant shows slight yellowing of lower leaves, and the smaller plant is green and lush but the buds are slightly less progressed, interesting. I super-cropped the main stem of the tall one just over a week ago (clean). I expected it to be the one slightly behind in development. The plant has roughly 10-15% "Total resources" that it keeps in case emergencies arise. Reserves if you will. My rationale behind breaking anything goes hand in hand with slowing things down as production is lost due to the time it takes to repair damage. I recall watching a YouTube video, where a curly hair gentleman would super crop in a manner to damage but not disrupt using a twisting method, using fingers and thumbs placing them close together one goes clockwise other counter clock this varies a lot depending on the thickness of stem but what you wait for is a tiny snap, it may take several rolls to weaken if walls are tough I found. No snapping or bending of the stem, you want just to fracture it but not puncture this way the xylem and phloem channels remain flowing,the damage is repaired almost instantly and the 10-15% is dispatched with very little repair time. Everything in the general vicinity of the stress will now grow stronger so as to prevent further similar damage. This is why I had expected the tall one to lag behind in development once I had cropped it but low and behold it worked and the tall one has slightly more developed buds. The effects of birdsong on plant life may at first glance be far-fetched. Nigh on ten years ago an article appeared in Nexus Magazine on the discovery or invention of a method of growing plants using bird sounds. Christopher Bird and Peter Tompkins describe the development of Dan Carlson’s Sonic Bloom in their book The Secret Life of Plants. Many others have, it seems, recognized the role of birdsong in the growth of plants, and influenced or directly helped Carlson to develop his invention. Dan Carlson’s desire to see that no one need be hungry through shortage of food sought to understand the optimum growth of plants. He discovered that plants also feed from ‘the top down’ as well as the roots. Underneath all leaves are pores called stomata which open to take in nutrients and moisture from the air. Carlson’s observation that the more bird life there is on the farm, the more abundant is plant life, has been echoed by farmers throughout history, except in modern times. Where there is little bird life, plants are stunted, and dwarfed. Nature has the birds sing at dawn and dusk, which dilates the stomata, and so feeds the plants. One can immediately see the importance of trees. The development of Sonic Bloom was to create birdsong, which is played to the plants, while a foliar nutrient is sprayed onto the plants at the same time as they are being stimulated by the sound, to enhance their growth. This method produced fantastic results in the amount of abundantly nutritious produce from one plant, often in poor soils and in drought conditions. Carlson showed that the breathing leaves of plants are the source of the nutrient intake for growth. This of course is also true for humans—the breath is food. We shall discourse on this on another occasion. Plants transfer nutrients to the soil via this breathing, and Carlson showed that his plants improved the soil and helped earthworms proliferate. The secret of Sonic Bloom was the development of the music of the same frequency as the dawn chorus of the birds. With the help of a Minneapolis music teacher, Michael Holtz, a cassette was prepared. It seems that both birds and plants found Indian melodies called ragas delightfully suitable. This is actually quite profound, although the American farmers, especially women, who had to endure this music whilst it was played to the plants, found it irritating. Holtz found the “Spring” movement of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons appropriate and concludes: “I realized that Vivaldi, in his day, must have known all about birdsong, which he tried to imitate in his long violin passages. Holtz, it is related by the authors Bird and Tompkins, also realized that the violin music dominant in “Spring” reflected Johann Sebastian Bach’s violin sonatas broadcast by the Ottawa University researchers to a wheat field, which had obtained remarkable crops with 66 percent greater yield than average, with larger and heavier seeds. Accordingly, Holtz selected Bach’s E-major concerto for violin for inclusion on the tape. “I chose that particular concerto,” explained Holtz, “because it has many repetitions but varying notes. Bach was such a musical genius he could change his harmonic rhythm at nearly every other beat, with his chords going from E to B to G-sharp and so on, whereas Vivaldi would frequently keep to one chord for as long as four measures. That is why Bach is considered the greatest composer that ever lived. I chose Bach’s string concerto, rather than his more popular organ music, because the timbre of the violin, and its harmonic structure, is far richer than that of the organ. Birdsong has long been loved but also studied with reference to the musical scale and harmonics. As Holtz deepened his study he said, “I began to feel that God had created the birds for more than just freely flying about and warbling. Their very singing must somehow be intimately linked to the mysteries of seed germination and plant growth. The spring season down on the farms is much more silent than ever before. DDT killed off many birds and others never seem to have taken their place. Who knows what magical effect a bird like the wood thrush might have on its environment, singing three separate notes all at the same time, warbling two of them and sustaining the others. Tree and bird life are essential to Earth's existence, which Carlson, Holtz, and others have shown, but indeed others see and feel. “Plants”, says Steiner, “can only be understood when considered in connection with all that is circling, weaving, and living around them. In spring and autumn, when swallows produce vibrations as they flock in a body of air, causing currents with their wing beats, these and birdsong, have a powerful effect on the flowering and fruiting of plants. Remove the winged creatures, Steiner warns, and there would be stunting of vegetation. Nothing more needs to be added here. It has been said that you cannot hurt the humblest creature or disturb the smallest pebble without your action having a reaction upon something else...You cannot think of an evil thought, no matter how private, without it having an effect upon somebody else. Whatsoever you do in life sets up some form of resonance. When I say the morning chorus of the birds awakens the earth I mean that the characteristic song of the birds sets in motion a series of vibrations which react upon other forms of life. Remember, the soil of the earth is full of living microorganisms. The plants are also living organisms. You, yourselves, are living organisms. Now, this is the beauty and wonder of it all—when one aspect of nature has been moved into a state of resonance it immediately relays its vibrational motion to something else. So when I say the dawn chorus awakens the earth I literally mean what I say. I do not suggest that the earth would come to a standstill without the bird song, but I do mean that life on earth would be sluggish and ineffectual without that first instigating outburst of vibrational power poured forth at just the right pitch and tone to set off a chain effect. I know some of you will say, what happens in those parts of the world where there are no birds? Well, what does happen? Very little, I assure you. The hot deserts and the polar regions where there are few, if any, birds are not renowned for their wonders of nature. It is as though they are asleep. Nothing grows, few things live. Little resonates and there is a great stillness over everything. You see, that outburst of sound just before dawn is like the little lever that works the bigger lever which turns the wheel which moves the machine…and so on. Never underestimate small things. Animals are blessed with instantaneous and unthought-out wisdom. They are in direct contact with God and they act and live as though they are fully aware of it. Men are also in contact with God, but most of them act as though they have never heard of God because they are largely veiled from their divine center by their own thinking minds of which they are so proud.

Have been trimming some cover leaves off the top of the canopy to allow some light to hit the lower buds, actually seems to be having some positive impact! The girls are looking lovely, after the herms were gone from last week I decided I was going to say fuck it and use the beastie bloomz on my remaining 2 plants. They seem to be loving it! No signs of nute burn or anything at all after 2 feedings, at half strength (1/8 tsp/G). Buds are forming nicely. Definitely 2 distinctly different phenos for sure, one is going to be fat and fuely, the other seems like its leaning more towards a sativa look, almost has a pink hue to it when I look at them. 🤤 Smell is also starting to come on fairly strong at this point as well as trichome formation. Other than the hermie issue I'm kinda diggin these things so far!
