Stretch started this week! waaaaattttt. she's once again one BUSHY lady. was advised to limit pruning once flowering started, but things are getting out of control 😂. think i'm going to have to do some ladyscaping as a mid week update. Slow growth as expected with the lower set point on the reservoir temp (19 C) - as a result of a slight smell. still has the smell, but nothing in the water on on the sides of the reservoir so not going to worry for now. Bought another air stone and need to install ASAP. SO many roots and with sooooo much volume that the one stone just gets swamped. pretty impressive root system. Shout out to all the growmies that have helped me on this journey. Things are good.

2025-09-26 We are under 13 Hours of Light, we had a cold and rainy Week from Sunday on until today ( Friday) weather was cold. it was raining heavyly- and iam hoping some dryer and warmer days to come for the moment everything is fine, plants are standing under the Roof and getting stabilized by 2 SCROG- nets we will see.

Week 5 done and the OG Kush is growing at a steady pace. She got some pruning and adjusting and has sprouted a bunch of viable side shutes. Still on the fence if I'm keeping any, but I will most likely tie down the mains to my catch pan due to the plant exceeding the width of the pot by about 3 inches. Bloom slow release should be available to the roots during the next week. 1 more week of vegging under the 100w ac110 then onto the big girl tent.

Even though it says 80 Gallon pot, it’s really 400, it just glitches out when I enter 400 and converts to say only 80. I know she looks bad! I know. She has only been managing a nutrient lockout with horribly low pH for far too long! The Hydrated Lime has indeed fixed the pH! Resulting in my next inbound set of problems. The original soil from the second 2.3L pot she was in was too strong! She needs to get her roots out into the larger pot, but that only gives her so much more space. Plus in that larger black plastic pot, the hot dry sun at 7,000 ft in elevation, really heats up those pots! When it’s 98F later, that sounds like torture! Maybe it was enough to balance out the more concentrated stuff towards the inside of the root mass. But I don’t want her roots to stop there! The time is now for her to go into the 400!!! The soil is 6.5 pH through and through. The peas are about to bloom! She has just avoided lockout and is picking up momentum! The 400 gives her a huge diameter for her roots! Something I sincerely hope her genetics will take advantage of. The soil is rich and alive! The temps in 400 will be so much better! Now I must prepare for my Arch Nemesis! The Butterfly!!!!!! Lol But seriously. They find my plants attractive, and decide to serve my plants as food for their offspring!!!! Not okay! Last year their success rate on my plants was a fat 0!! But they did some serious damage! I am prepared this year!! I will watch with vigilance for any butterflies around my plants specifically. I will spray my plants down regularly with diatomaceous earth! Not too much obviously! I know less is more when spraying that stuff! No mother wants to give her children food with razor blades in it! And as always there is always next year! I can’t let a phase of mice and men get the better of me. However!!… that’s what I said LAST YEAR!!!! Lol. This year IS next year! Hello everyone! I promised to track this grow very closely this time and ufortunately life got in the way. Here is a quick sumup of the grow. First of all- One of the sour stomper plants unfortunately didn't make it. It died at about week 4. The main stem somehow had rubbed/broken down. That's why it was falling down. It was almost like a mini beaver had chewed it off at the point where the stem touches the riot rooter. At first I thought nothing much of it, maybe it hasn't been rooted in quite well yet or something. And I was constantly touiching it when watering, that made it worse. Soo the leaves were dropping and the plant looked very weak. Then I decided cut thr rapid rooters top layer and found out the severity of the problem. Tried to tape it up and other things, but it was too late. At the end it appeared all good as the remaing plants got so big the I had some space issue so I wouldn't have been able to fit another plant in anyway. At that time I finally made my self-draining saucers. I took me a while and a lot of effort, but finally they were ready and working well. I also installed the self watering system and flowering was starting. Pretty soon I started noticing weird leaf symtoms. Brown spots, different kind. Some plants had it more, some less. Sour Stomper looked pretty good throughout the grow. Mango smiles seemed sensitive and Strawberry Nuggs were pretty strong until the end. The grow was basically me experimenting with the setup- changing watering schedules , changing ppm, ph and all that stuff to keep the leaves looking healthy and it was very hard I have to admit. Probably my hardest grow in that regard. But somehow, the bud leaves remained healthy and the buds really fattened up good. I got away with an amzing 700G dry bud harvest which was def a new record from one grow. And the bud quality is very good too! Next time definetly no more than 4 plants as they got pretty big and I thought it was a little overcrowded. I was doing some good defoliation too. I should have defolited strawberry nugs more tho. Sour Stomper got some amazing bud development from top to bottom because it was was growing next to strawberry nuggets which were really small most of the grow. They actually took the most time to harvest even longer than Mango smile. Mango smiles were ready quite early. Sour Stomper was just in time! I topped sour stomper and both Mangoi smiles, left SNs both normal. Looking back at it, the way I grow them, Should have topped SNs too. Would probably have more space in the middle and longer side branches. Probably wouldn't have been as bushy! I followed the full Terra aquatica feed chart until the end. I was supplementing with CalMag a lot as I thought the symptoms could have been from a CalMag deficiency as this was my first grow with RO water. Overall a very challenging but good grow at the end. First time no mold problems. A record breaking yield for me. Basically surpassed the upper limit for all plant probable harvest sizes. Got good smelling quality bud. Very happy overall and will continue experimenting with Mephisto beans in the future for sure! I guess what I like the most about Mephisto is how close to description the plant is, very stable genes in that regard. Next time I will also have to start feeding plants higher PPM feed faster at the very start. and during flowering. But still not 100% sure what caused the leaf symptoms.

So she is growing fine I turn off my humidifier notice it was giving plant issues did raise the light another 12 in and I also topped her I almost forgot I transferred her to a 3 gallon bucket

End of Week 3 into Week 4 and She's Growing BEAUTIFULLY without an Issue to Note. Huge Fan Leaves with Short Internode Spacing. I'm continually Tucking Leaves as an Alternative to Defoliation n it seems to be Working Nicely. Lower Node Growth Shooting toward the Top of the Plant. Her First Pistils have appeared so this Week She'll be getting "Transition" Feeding at 1/2 Dosage with Full CalMag Plus and a Light Dose of Liquid KoolBloom.
