Way to be a fighter girl! This is going to be a tricky thing to manage I feel like my gals are tracking a week apart. I’ll keep this journal’s timeline on sporty spice. -1 week for posh and -2 weeks for baby spice. spice girls let’s grooooow! 8/30 - exactly two weeks from sprout for Sporty and Posh. Pretty wild how big a difference there is between the two. Baby is getting her footing. Now. Sporty already pushing 4-5 nodes and I saw a tiny root through the drain hole. Wanted to pot her up! About 8 cups pro mix, one cup perlite. About 1.5 tbs of Gaia green 4-4-4, some worm castings and sprinkled mycorrhiza around where the rootball would be. God speed girly! 9/3. Potted up Posh today. About a half gallon pro mix, plus about 1.5 tbsp of the Gaia green 4-4-4. Plus about a cup of worm castings, perlite, and mycorrhiza. Sporty is looking very happy, 5 nodes and counting. Added back my second light, let’s go girls!!! 9/5. Wrapping up week 2 here, so far I’ve been really impressed with the pro mix Gaia green and soil support so far. The girls seem happy and healthy. I have been super excited with everything up to this point . I have made all my preparations that I think need to be made and did some trial runs on my environment. I starting preparing around the 15th of January and my set up was complete around the 19th of February. I spaced my purchases out based on budget constraints. I wanted a cheap and efficient grow area. Some thing I paid more for because through all the research I did I felt quality was more important. If you are as excited as I was, you get pretty anxious when awaiting order status when you first order your seeds. You should remember you are ordering from an online seed bank not amazon. Most work Monday - Friday and are in a complete different time zone. I ordered my seeds from seed supreme Seedbank. I placed my order on 31 January and mailed money as directed. This was the scariest part for me especially when I didn’t hear anything back. I finally received a email on the 12th if February saying my invoice was paid and then subsequently mailed out on the 15th and I received on the 20th. One thing I would like to note that recommend to anyone mail cash is to make sure you spend the extra cash and track your payment. I’m currently germinating all five GSC I received I placed them in water for the first 24 hours and then a paper towel for approximately 40 Hours. Day 2 - 2/24/19: Nothing new to report no activity on the surface, misted watering at 5.8 PH. Day 3 - 2/25/19: Plant number 1 which had the longest tap root broke the surface I started a time lapse on it to cover the first moments of birth 😭 daddy is already so proud lmao. I have another light watering today with my humidity domes on, the intent is to have the plants roots work to get the required water and hopefully promote root growth. I also added 1ml of Rapid start and diluted into 1 gal. Day 4 - 2/26/19: Checked the status this morning prior to work and two more have reached the surface only two more remaining which I suspect will reach by the time I make it home from work. Misted this morning pot was looking pretty dry with the exception of the humidity domes, which I removed on all the sprouted seedling. I intend on shifting to a 20 on 4 off cycle and starting my other fans. Day 5 - 2/27/19: All five plants have broke the surface. I did a normal watering this am still utilizing the dome to avoid watering on top of the plants. I lowered the light again some of the early sprouters we stretching a little more than I wanted and appeared leggy to me. Day 6 - 2/28/19: Nothing really to report today. Excited for the name reveal tomorrow. I did a light watering. I played around with my ppm meter and ec I definitely plan on using in conjunction with my first feeding this weekend. Day 7 - 3/1/19: Was watering this morning normal levels. I also mixed a new feed to be ready for them tomorrow. While I was watering # 5 fell over I accidentally tipped it with the spout. I grabbed some left over soul to help prop it up hopefully she is ok.

Week 6 for this beautiful girl was flush week an she was ready to harvest she has some amazing plump nugs covered in trichromes this medic grow led is no joke as it helped produce some top of the line plants

Last year I’ve tried my first Blueberry’s family strain ever, the Blue Cheese. I loved her. One of the best high I’ve ever had. Since then, I decided to try them all. I chose this strain because she is almost 100% indica and because I wanted to do a RQS only cycle, and unfortunately they didn’t have the original Blueberry (please RQS, add her to the catalog!!!). By the way, although I have two Blue Mystic, only this one has her own diary. Her sister is similar, but located at the opposide side of the box. Well, they have been the first, together with the Gorilla, to show pistils and then create the first small flowers. Couldn’t be happier, especially after the problem (with a defective digital timer) that caused the flowering phase to delay by 2 weeks. I’ve just removed some lower leaves that coudn’t get the right amount of light, and since the soil was a bit dry, I’ve given 500ml of water (and nuts) more. Because of the delay (in which I’ve started giving bloom nuts), I’ll have to give them “week 3” nuts for two more weeks, maybe reducing by 50% the B-52 and Big Bud dosages (they could be a little too much). May 25: looking healthy and happy. Nice progress considering it’s another week until the end of May. May 26: raised soil level using Pro-Mix and compost. Got rained on a bit but moved beside house to avoid the heaviest rain which verged on being hail. May 27: topped in morning. First round of topping in what will be a 16 cola manifold. Looking good as we’re about two weeks ahead of schedule. May 31: been cool the last few days since the toppping. Watered this morning with Monster Maxx. Slow going since the topping but she’ll be fine. Note that for all my diaries, I do pH adjustment with apple cider vinegar and add a dab of Dr Bronner’s Peppermint soap as a surfactant. That lowers the surface tension of the water allowing it to penetrate the soil more evenly. Also I’m always warming the water to help keep the roots happy in the cool weather. #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

Today, day 23 was the last repotting. Girls went from 11.6L to a 20L pot. Now there in the right place. In fact, just 3/4 have beene repotting because I didn't have enough Lightmix :/ My order is late, and I'm not really happy with that 😡 I planned to top the girls on wednesday or thursday. It will depends on how they will recover. Actually, it's my first time with smartpots. If smartpots have a lot of advantages, repotting is not one of them ! I made a mistake : the plants were 60% dry, and abviously, it was not a good idea ! It should be clearly moist. Nextime I think I will water the girls 1 hour before repotting. I hope it will be ok and they will recover from this tough moment.... Will see in a few days 😰😨 Anyway, I have generously watered them right after repotting with no nutrient. Juste clear water with the right Ph. As they are in some brand new light-mix medium, I thought they have enough nutrient for a at least 2 or 3 days. D-25 : Everything is ok. Girls seems to have recover very well :) Anyway, I'll wait at least one more day before topping. The last Chocolate Haze (the one that was 5 days late), doesn't have 6 nodes yet and I would prefer to top each girls at the same time. D-26 : Repotting the last one and topping everybody. Fingers crossed for the next couple of days... I also feed the girls right after the top. During the topping process, the plants were reduced from 19cm to 12cm.
