Topped on D27. Moved into a DIY spaceblanket/cardboard growbox for better climate and light. Got an easy +1.5°C and +5%rh on average through this simple build. No fans, box always open on one side. The box also sits on top of a 40cm subwoofer that runs the bassiest stoner rock 👽 and and even fuzzier doom metal 😈 for an average of 4hours a day to please my ears 😑 and vibrate those roots 😵 Also did a lot of testing with an Apera pH60 this week and put a lot of the nutrients+tapwater+citric acid solution into the reservoir and a bit on the soil. Also I now know how much citric acid I need to bring the pH of my tapwater to 6.5, more than I previously used as my tapwater starts out at 7.5

Opened them both up and trimmed up some lower branches and the likes. Defoliation aswell on some leaves. Flower stretch under way ! Still having issues with one not absorbing what she needs was advised to up the ph in autopot res to 5.8 6.0 ph so have done so to see if that helps ! All in all looking good

Hung up my new California Lightworks UVB supplement light. I think I originally hung it a bit too close (18 inches from canopy) based on the subtle color change in the leaves, so I raised it up to 24" above the canopy. I was most certainly skeptical, since this is my first time using UVB, but even over the course of its first week under the bulbs I've notice a visible increase in trichomes. Now I guess won't know whether or not this would have happened anyway, but the sticky diamond coated buds sure are making me smile. 😁

Things are started to get some size to the buds. I upped the nutes PPM this week to 1050. The durban clearly has awhile longer to go while the green crack looks like it might be done sooner then later. I'm debating giving green crack it's first overdrive feeding next week.. we will see how the buds are looking then.. I used to feed a week earlier then I should have so I'm trying not to get too ancy with it yet. Both look great.. some slight light burn so the light went from 100% to 80%... just put up to 90% to see how it reacts.. if any issue I'll go back to 80%.. that might be the most it can handle at 18 inches at this point. Gave a heavy defoliation to both plants tonight after nutrient freeding. I defoliated more of the top leaves to expose more bud sites. Then I defoliated the bottom buds sites that I know won't amount to anything and the twig branches coming from the bottom that don't get any light neither. Took 3 hours to get it all accomplished.. forgot to take before and after pics but both plants were monsters.. not much light could really get thru the top canopy Now light gets thru the entire plant so the lower buds are exposed to light and better air flow for sure. My final defoliation will be 1.5 weeks before harvest.. pretty much at the point I start to consider beginning my flush. That way it will fatten up the buds and help finish the buds that haven't been getting much light. Excited to see the final results.. this my first time really doing a heavy defoliation throughout a plants entire life cycle. It defintely helps final yield if done correctly from what I've seen. I figured I'd give it a try and see how it goes.. so far I'm satisfied with the results.

The LST i did in the past few weeks is starting to pay off. The plants are spreading nice and even, not bad for a first timer but it can be better. In this week, i’ll try to water more to boost their growth because in the past few weeks i only water them once a week for the reason that I always wait until the top soil goes dry and it took almost a week for that to happen. I read in an article that you should carry your pot after a day of watering the plants to able to know that is the weight of the pot when it has water, so you can determine if the pot is light that means you can water them even the top soil is still wet. I’ll try this method lets see if i’ll end up overfeeding my plants or not. In this week will be doing same routine like last week, always monitor humidity and temperature. Spread the fan leaves so the leaves underneath can receive enough light.

Another good week. Gave the plant its first topping and it looks happy. No issues at all with this plant so far.

9/29/2022 - 49 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 The third week of flowering of my Orange Sherbet 🍨🍨🍨 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - I serve the same as last week Advanced Nutrientiens - Bud Candy - carbohydrates for my plants 🍭🍭 Bud Stimulators 🌼🌼🌼: Jungle Indabox Environ X Advanced Nutrientiens - Big Bud remains unchanged I no longer serve Bud Ignitor ATAMI - ATA CALMAG - When growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and Atami is an excellent brand Plants tolerate nutrients well, sometimes a small spot appears on the leaves, but this is not a nutrient burn Training: LST - Just a little training, I tied some twigs to the edge of the flower pot with string so that they don't shine on each other 🌞🌞 Defoliation: I mainly remove large leaves so they don't shade the flowers and I also cut off the lower leaves. The plant will thus have more power to put energy into the buds 🍃🌸🌸 General: The branches of the plant grow symmetrically, it has many blooms, the stems are strong and healthy, the leaves correspond to the age and stage of the plant, it responds well to nutrients 🌾🌾 Light: Really awesome Mars Hydro TS 1000 sponsor light 💡💡 Smell: The girls really smell, this one smells sweet, very fruity 🍇🍊 Thank you for your opinions, smile and fun with my diary, you can follow me on Twitter 🐦: @ targona666 See you soon 😍

Hi Guys ! The plant suffered of a Nitrogen/Calcium deficiency, so I fed her with more FloraMicro and I raised the CaliMagic dose for the past week. She's lookin fine today ! I think I killed all the bugs, I added some Neem Powder on the top of the soil and 3/4cm of clay peebles ! The blooming really starts and this little girls starts to smell weakly. I just remove the leaves that covered the Bud, and I did some LST that works a lot ! See you next week, keep on growing !🕉️

🌱 Week 3: Mutant Magic—The Veggie Vibes Begin! 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! We’re officially cruising into Week 3 of veg with these Mentha de Croco mutants from @TerpyzGenetics, and WOW, they are stealing the show with their funky, unique traits. The diversity in their growth patterns, leaf shapes, and overall structure has me in awe every single day. It’s like watching a gallery of nature’s art come to life! 🌿✨ This week, I’m excited to share something extra special—a photo showcase capturing the magic up close, featuring some incredible macro shots of water drops and reflections. Plus, I’ve included a behind-the-scenes video to show you how these shots came to life, proving it’s all-natural and no digital effects! 🌟📸 Tent Life: Keeping It Steady This week’s conditions remain rock-solid, giving these beauties the stable environment they need to thrive: • Temperature: Holding steady to ensure smooth growth. • Humidity: Keeping it nice and high to encourage lush, healthy foliage. • Lighting: The Future of Grow (FOG) LED is still set at 200 PPFD, which is perfect for building strong, compact plants with tight node spacing. Consistency is the name of the game here, and it’s paying off beautifully. 🌟 Nutrition: Feeding the Funky Mutants 🌿 The feeding schedule this week continues with the amazing Aptus Holland organic-mineral lineup. Here’s the mix that’s keeping these plants healthy, happy, and thriving: • Regulator (0.15 ml/L): This is my go-to for fortifying cell walls and helping plants handle any environmental stress. It’s like a shield of armor for them! • CalMag Boost (0.25 ml/L): Calcium and magnesium are crucial for strong stems and vibrant, green growth—an absolute must for mutants showing off their unique structures. • All-in-One Liquid (1 ml/L): The backbone of the nutrition program, delivering a balanced diet of essential nutrients for steady, healthy development. • Start Booster (0.25 ml/L): Packed with root-stimulating microbes and nutrients, this ensures the root systems stay strong and can support the impressive foliage growth above. Why I Love Aptus Holland: This organic-mineral line perfectly blends nature and science. It’s clean, efficient, and gives the plants exactly what they need without overloading or causing buildup. The results? Happy, resilient plants that thrive from root to tip. 🌱✨ Growth Highlights: The Funk Unfolds! 🌿 Each plant is starting to show off its unique traits, and I couldn’t be more excited. Mutant genetics like these are a grower’s dream, bringing surprises and individuality with every leaf that unfolds. I’m noticing: • Leaf Diversity: Wide blades, funky asymmetry, and new textures emerging. • Steady Growth: Compact, strong plants with great structure—perfect for setting up the next stages of training and growth. This week, I also took some time to capture the magic of these plants through photography. Using my trusty Sony and Nikon cameras, I snapped some macro shots featuring stunning water drops with beautiful reflections. These photos really showcase the intricate beauty of nature that’s so easy to overlook. 📸 Behind the Scenes: To top it off, I’ve included a video showing how these photos came to life. No tricks, no effects—just a little patience, the right light, and the magic of macro photography. It’s my way of sharing not just the plants’ journey but also the creativity and wonder that comes with it. 🌟 Grower Reflections & Tips 💡 💚 Observation is Key: Take time to really “read” your plants. Each one is unique, and mutants often need a little extra attention to their quirks. 🌱 Embrace Creativity: Whether it’s training techniques, feeding strategies, or photography, let your passion shine through—it’s all part of the journey. 💧 Steady Feeds, Happy Plants: The balance of Aptus Holland nutrients is keeping these plants perfectly happy without overfeeding. Light but consistent wins the race in these early stages! Shoutouts & Grower’s Love 💚 A big thank you to: • @Terpyz Genetics for these incredible, unique seeds. • @Aptus Holland for the nutrition line that keeps these mutants thriving. • @Future of Grow for the perfect lighting setup. • @Trolmaster for the best controls in the market. • @Grow Diaries for providing a platform to share this journey with the grow fam. • And YOU—the amazing community that makes this all worthwhile. Most of the week was spent setting up the hydro grow. Needed to build a DIY chiller since air temp in our grow room is hot, and water needs to be a good deal colder. Fridge from kijiji, garden hose, fittings, and submersible pump all in were under $100 but knowing what I know now I'd likely go with a thermoelectric chiller (DIY, with power supply and temp controller) next time around. Looking forward to tracking metrics and seeing how it goes :). Seems there's a lot of contradiction in terms of level of nutrients recommended, max water temperature, using H2O2 to boost water temp that can keep algae and rot at bay, etc. Got my hands on some Hydroguard via Amazon... despite local shops saying you can't get it in Canada... so I'm going to go with that instead of H2O2 to start, despite water temp getting up above 21 C (70 f) during the day. Fingers crossed. Update - keeping water reservoir tank under 20 C now by using reflective bubble wrap insulation on the reservoir itself and pipe insulation as well. It's a 10 C difference from the room temp, so I'm SUPER pleased with that.

12 days to full transplantable roots. Right on schedule as expected. Moved 6 of the 12 clones (1 per plant) into a new 45L Rez that I cobbled together in an evening. Just small enough to fit into the cabinet. Hopefully the roots don’t choke each other out for territory while we work to reveg, re-flower and ultimately seed em all for the new F3 line. We’ll pick the best buds from the lot for the next testing run once we see what the pheno variation looks like from the main run in the tent. It’s a process and annoyance not to be yielding bud off a grow cycle but it is what it is if you want your own signature stuff. Alls good for now. Let’s just hope that the 6 coats of paint I threw on the lid is enough to keep out the grow light penetration🤞. Shoulda used black, whatever.

Day 29 flowering: Wow , wow and lots more wow. The Mimosa Lemon has gone crazy big with stretch. Each long stem is around 22 inches and flowering the entire length of each main. I have not seen a plant gonso big so quickly before ever!!!. With so long still to goninnher rise to fame , she cannot fail to be impressive at harvest. Wow what a huge lady...... Glueberry has bounced backnwith a passion mow thankfully and I can now see how much she takes in each watering. shebis a very hungry girl for fluids and I am now introducing pk warrior 9/18 and mc into the feeds for both girls. Her leaves are lighter than I love so the mc will bring more of a soment , light active ,green to the game Her buds look nice and shaggy as a good GG hybrid should and she is beginning to get a fruity hint to her too. Shebhas lots if inner bud growth i will keep and eye on too. I stripped a bit of lower Larry budlets and fans out of her too, this will get the air around her better . I also did a little bending out of stems to open the canopy up a little. Overall these are damn impressive. The lemon has stunned me..... well done @expertseed Until next week. be well .
