👨‍🚀This week I continue to defoliate the lower branches. from the beginning I have been making different cuts on each plant Some of my noris cakes did not appreciate the defoliation that I did to them, I must admit that I did that like a bloodthirsty butcher on one of them... 👹I have at least one that is developing well but for the other 2 I notice a slowdown in their growth With supports I start trying to balance the height of all my plants so that they are approximately the same distance from the lamp First time that I have grown so many plants in my 1M², first time that I have not cut the main apex of the plants. I try a lot of things in this culture and it is certain that there is a lot to improve.😉 ------------------------------------------------------------ 💧Watering On average I water each pot with: Day 36 : 0.75 Liters Day 40 : 0.75 L I use tap water, adjust the ph to around 6 and water 💧Spraying I mix a little black soap and neem oil in 1L of water and spray everything in the tent just before my lights go out, keeping any electrical appliances away while I spray. I try to soak all the plants. and I repeat this 2 times this week and the next before the buds appear. Week 14! I am starting to get really excited about this plant! She is plumping up and producing a lot of trichomes! Smell is very enjoyable. Fruity, sweet and lemony are smells that come to mind. Doing minor defoliation if I see leaves shading buds.

Just getting going again after some mods to my grow box. I’ve replaced the main CFL bulb with an LED and it is much brighter. I also removed the second carbon filter to create more space in the box. The new setup allows for more even space and light distribution and overall more growing space. With the additional light I thought I would try out CO2 so I added an Exhale365 bag. Starting out with 3 plants, 2 Pineapple Express and 1 Pineapple Skunk. There was some type of burn on the first seedling but that was earlier on and it has grown a lot since I first noticed it. I planted the seeds days apart so a few are behind. Growbox summary: * grow space: 19”H x 17”W x 21”D * 4 small, 1 medium internal fans * 3 gallon hydro reservoir * 6 inch exhaust fan + 4 inch exhaust fan in sequence * 150W Mars Hydro TS-1000 (new) * 3 X 20W LED side lights (+1 new) * Exhale CO2 bag (new) Water temps are ranging from 68 up to 70. It’s a small space, but with light covering all sides I think I can get a decent yield. Last time 3.2 ounces were harvested from it. Hoping to hit 5 ounces this time by creating fewer, but larger colas. Day 6 update: * The pinex-1 is looking a little funky. It has weird leaf growth, some minor defects in color, super short compared to the others, and the first leafs are starting to canoe a little. * pinex-2 and pskunk are looking good and growing well, but the leaves aren’t very green. * decided to bump up nutrients a little by moving to week 2 on the schedule and diluting to 60%. That took the ppm up from 400(200 base) to 630(210 base). Hoping if they weren’t getting enough nutrients that this will fix it. * the new light might be a little to bright for these babies. Dimmed it to about 75% power.

Aug 16: Sunday Punch EV is a strong plant and it will likely be my biggest yielder this year. Have the UV lights going again today and the buds are looking great. Natural UV drops really fast here after mid-August so the UV lights should help them finish strong with higher potency. Aug 18: flash pics before using red light at dusk is okay, but don't take flash pics if you don't have a far red light. Bad idea. Likely. Video shows how to use the far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds at the right time of day is all it takes. I use Civil Twilight for my location as listed on timeanddate.com which is a few minutes earlier each night at this time of year.

I have started flushing with pH-adjusted Flawless Finish solution, expecting to harvest somewhere around the end of this week, although I will continue monitoring pistils and trichs. Upd: Added back 50% base nutrients and some flowering additives after researching some of the first responses to my flushing question. I learn every day. Even that which was scientifically proven true one day, might be even more scientifically proven absolutely false some time later (not related to flushing specifically). Thank you kings! Upd 2: Okay okay I cooked her with some cosmic rays or whatever those Chinese quantum bars emit — purple rays, I'll call it — that's on me. Turned them 30% down to see what's up. Light burn was not on my mind, because otherwise the leaves were not really curving that much, considering that this is 3 weeks overdue wrt advertised. Sorry about that, did not pay enough attention.

I want to thank my buddy @Vlugge_japie for helping me cut, without him i wouldnt able to trim her in 6 hours. I also want to thank you my followers for your kind words and encouragement to make her a monster. Without your messages a grow is just a grow, but through growdiaries and each other's diaries we want to challenge ourselves every grow Lots of love to you my new friends. Who am i ? until last november i have always grown hydro for a little over 11 years. But growing started to look more and more like work because i was more busy with programming my controllers for the ph / humidity / lights / soil moisture / temperature. Also the realization that i have 2 children and my own house made me nervous for the authorities because where i live growing is not allowed. So i decided to grow smaller where i previously had 200x180x200 space i opted for 70x70x160 with the result that i can only grow 1 strain at a time. The intention is to remain self-sufficient in this way and still be able to exchange or give away something here and there at a party. Although I am sponsored I will not be able to grow every strain because not every strain can deliver the result I need to remain self-sufficient. If you know of an auto strain or photo strain that takes at least 11 to 15 weeks I would like to know so that I can grow it in the future and of course I will try to set a record for that grown strain. Because during the 4 grows that I can do per year I can only try to achieve a record since I cannot show you multiple strains at once.
