Sept 10th This week was windy and finally some decent shower. Nature was begging for it but as we all know it was a headache for me personally. I went to visit the girls and noticed how the wind was taking its toll. Killer Kush (the biggest) was banking 15 degrees and the Outdoor Grapefruit was acting as a windscreen for Maroc. She needed some more defoliating to prevent moisture getting stuck in tight places. I pulled the net further down to improve airflow...a little to much. When i pinned the lower ring to the ground a big branch snapped😪 Emergency repair was done and I believe she will be all right. She was reinforced and i build a nice tent over the wound to prevent water coming in. Open from the bottom still alowing air to pass underneath.

Crazy growth. Just crazy. The rest of the ladies are up on pots to try and keep the canopy as level as possible. She is super thirsty and is needing her nutrients upped. The training has really paid off, she has a cracking canopy. Looking forward to seeing her develop 😎

Day 49 today and the start of an attempt at drought stressing her . The science says to withhold water until a noticable droop on their frame bit rhisnlady is a solid limbed , woody beast so that won't happen the same at all. To counter this I expect around 7 days is all I will push it too so right on point for a final weeks feeding before harvest and ripening. The effect hoped for a is a noticable difference in the thc and oils produced. It sounds similar in move as other methods like stem splitting , taking chunks out as though being threatened by wildlife ect.. but is more in keeping with seasonal changes and auxin changes. I did leave my last crop in the dark for over 7 days drying but didn't benefit too much from that. It is something I have wondered about since reading about it. I pulled the Red Hot Cookie and the Sweet Afghani Delicious as rhe tank took a turn for the worse so took the sensible option. S.a.d is drying but I quick dried the Rhc and had a few nice joints from her. not her full potential but certainly helped me sleep. lol Amnesia haze is mid way through her second pistil flush with plenty of fresh ones backing them up too . Her overall size and bud yield should be even better once they begin to discolour and push even more trichromes from this amazingly sweet and fruity girl. She was the 1st to show hunger issues before i used the megacrop addition so was taking all her stashed nutes . shebhas rewarded me with a very good sized plant that is a star to work with. He buds are rock solid to touch and leave a beautiful smell on my fingers when touched. The trichromes are slowly being hidden by the newer pistil growth but inexpectbsjebwill build on them too. I didnget a day of high humidity when my dehumidifier filled up and switched off. This managed to allow some bud rot onto 1 cola but I caught it early enough to not be an issue now. She has done her breeders proud indeed. I hope the pics do her justice as I love this lady and how's he is finishing. 2 weeks max now I think. Enjoy the vid and pics. thanks for stopping in. Major changes here at Night Owl summer camp. Have had a rodent problem! Something has figured out a way to get into the dormitory (greenhouse)and had a feast on my plants. Five branches off the Harvey Wallbanger, and two each off the Vanilla Fizz and the 91Grapes. Oh my gosh! I needed to do something else. My wife gave me a spare bedroom for a grow nursery! What a girl I have! So spent the day yesterday moving tents and hanging lights and got the girls all situated in the new dormitory away from some vampire in the night. Will give an individual plant update shortly. ***ok, back. Let’s start with the Harvey Wallbanger. Miss Harvey was on her way to becoming my most interesting grow to date before she was devoured by some creature of the night. She’s a cross of Orange Diesel and Cookie Smasher and even at this early stage of flowering she’s producing a nice glossy sheen and sweet aroma to match. She is a towering 48 inches making her the tallest autoflower that I have ever grown. She is slender and resembles the structure of a clone but I believe her flowers themselves will be massive in size and trichomes production. To date she has yet to make a single leaf with more than five points on it. She is truly interesting. Next let’s explore the Vanilla Fizz. Ms. Fizz didn’t get it as bad as Miss Harvey but suffered significant injuries as well. Loosing two full branches and enough bottom bud sites that the bottom 30 percent is now already cleaned up. She is the bushiest of the three with plenty of growing bud sites. Standing a proud forty three inches tall she comes in last in height but may be stacked up the nicest. Last but certainly not least comes the 91Grapes. Since she received the least amount damage from nightly feastings we are going to feature her until harvest. Only loosing two branches and not much else she was spared from destruction. She is massive!!! Not a massive amount of vegetation just in size over all. She’s 44 inches tall and big enough around for a bear hug. She takes up the entire 40 inch by 40 inch tent all by herself. She was probably spared damage due to her size. Pom poms are everywhere as is evidence of cheerleading practices and she is captain of the squad. Going to have to get a little more creative with the way watering will be conducted in the future. The formula 707 soil is for retaining moisture in outdoor conditions so I am afraid that it will retain moisture indoors and be a pest problem.

Day 76. Last two weakest plants - Strawberry Banana and Orange still going outside. Weed is very resilient plant. I think I will have half ounce from each easy ! Still something ;)))) Stems looks still terrible and dead, hope it won't transform into bud rot. I am leaving for holiday and hope to chop them or bud rot in a month ;)))) If it will be any harvest - I'll do an upload , if not - it's my last record here. Day 83. Tried to chop them asap some bugs started to attack. Found few larvas and then found this - hard as f@ck , radioactive , neon light pulsing alien EGGS ;))))) Not bad end of growing career ;)))) Thanks all companies and wonderful platform ! Sensi seeds Jack Herer 25th Feb 2020 What a difference a week can make! She went Boom!! and stretched upwards perfectly. I can see budsites everywhere! All I need now is for the sun to come back out. We have had some wild, wet and windy weather here and have had very little sunshine. I will need to start tucking fan leaves soon so that all budsites get as much light as possible. before it rained lastnight I had been letting the plants soil dry out a little , so I'm sure the rain was welcomed. I will need to keep an eye on the rain guage and if we are getting too much I'll have to drag the pot under cover or risk them being overwatered.
