Cool wet week, crazy storm just dumped 30mm of rain in a day, really really wet. She seemed to handle it well, all dried out now, no loss so far. Next few weeks sunny warm and dry, thank you mother nature. Last top dress 30tbsp GG, PB/AP 70/30, will still do weekly kelp and monster maxx, but drop silica and molasses. Buds are getting frosty, should start packing weight the next few weeks, pistils are just barely starting to brown, so 2-3 weeks easy. Most of it will get snipped and straight to the freezer for bubble hash, so I'm looking for quantity of smaller buds not mass, and she's delivering! 2nd Time Around "I WANT CANDY" grew 4 inches this week and is very bushy. @DivineSeeds website says that Auto Candy will have thick growth on the sides of her plants and I can attest that it is true. I tried to take a couple of pictures that showed how thick she is. It rained a little this week, so I only fed her a couple of times. So I didn’t know about Grow Diaries when I started this, and do I am jumping in first day of second week. I know for a fact that she has been slowly picking up some vegetative growth over the past week. Before that I would say it was between 1-2 weeks to get her rooted out. She has been inside the tent still, but will be transplanted outside in a fabric pot with a whopping 100 Gallons of custom made soil. I am still new and learning. I started mother from seed and will be using her to make more seeds(rev-fem). It is possible I may be obsessed 😍. Either way it is also my very first successful clone, which I literally took ONE cutting at about 10” long off the main trunk towards the bottom, then I took off an additional 4”. I guess I was confident? Even though last year, or year before that when I tried a lot of cuttings from a completely different plant, they all failed miserably. I knew why. I just needed to be way more on top of my game with the cuttings. Anyways, this one here means a lot to me because it’s my first clone! Let’s hope I don’t love ❤️ (water) it to death ☠️!!! lol

📆 Week 4, 12-18 May 2024 12 May - Upgraded light to ViparSpectra XS1500Pro. 13-14 May - Observed the plant. 15 May - Plant shows first pistils. 16-18 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 It was time to upgrade my light and it was an easy choice to stay with ViparSpectra. In my opinion, for small tents and the home grower they are the brightest lights available on the market. The only problem with the *2024 new versions are the dimmer switches. They limit how you can adjust the power: 5, 25, 50, 75 and 100% are the only settings, nothing in between. If you are trying to “dial” in your DLI/PPFD it makes it impossible without adjusting light height, which is quite cumbersome comparatively. Your forced to work around an issue which should have never been one! The plant is showing its first pistils this week. This doesn’t mean its in flower. There is no bud formation yet, she is just letting you know she is female. It could be another 2-3 weeks or longer before buds start developing. Wizard Fuel - Wizard Trees Day 98 🚿 She has been watered twice this week, with 3L of RO tap water with nutrients mixed individually, in order and then pH'd to 6.3. Shes a week away from harvest, so Ive reduced her nutrients over the last two-three feedings, so she is just getting the Acti-Vera and BioHeaven at the moment 💪🏻 ✂️ She has been given another round of defoliation this week, mainly focusing on removing fan leaves and larger sugar leaves from around her flower, so that any shaded areas are now exposed to light - this is to ensure her flower matures as much as possible before harvest 👌🏻 🌸 Her flower is looking just how it was advertised, which I'm super happy about! Vibrant light green with the contrasting ambers of the pistils, sat upon fat juicy goofballs, with the trichomes from stem to sugar leaf tips, shimmering in the light - she is so beautiful! Her aroma is also quite striking, very candy meets gas! 😍 Around 90% of her trichomes have turned milky with around 5% amber and clear each, basically all of her pistils have turned amber, so I will complete this week of flush and then she will be harvested 🙌🏻 Notes: I had taken a small sample from the lowest budsite on the plant, dried it for a few days and then tested it in the Arizer Solo IIIv2 - she is definitely leaning more into the Rope Fuel side with the citrus and diesel flavours up front with a lingering sweetness; its very nice! The effects hit pretty much straight away in the eyes getting tight and the smile smaked on my face - I can already tell that this one will be grown again! Very nice so far! 👌

Les branches de Purple shine sont assez épaisse même un peu trop, le LST est vraiment galère à faire pour l'instant je vais encore attendre un peu qu'elle se développe plus et j'envisage peu être de supercropped les 4 branches principal une fois plus développé afin de former la base(a voir les prochain jours 🤔) Le 1/05 rempotage de Purple Shine, elle a bien colonisé son air pot 1l passage en 4L géotextile dans un supersoil composé de (lombricompost,guano verre, sang et corne de boeuf sèché, phosphate naturel, zéolite, sel Epsom+ mycorhizines) et terreau covercrop Le 3/5 début du LST , pose de clip lst pour former les 4 branches principal, petit accident lors de la pose des clips un apex c'est bien cassé et ne tien que sur 1mm. Je fait une tentative pour essayer de le sauver mais je doute de résultat 😥. Le 4/5 perte de l'apex accidenté 😮‍💨😥 ce matin la branche avait les feuilles flétrie et la tige recroqueviller, fini pour elle le sauvetage a été un échec😥. Le 5/5 on se relève de cette déception et envisage quelques changements dans le programme pour que cette connerie deviennent profitable😉. Nouvelle taille des apex, on passe à 6 pousse maintenant je laisse un temps de repos à purple shine avant une nouvelle taille je prévoyais 8 apex et au final j'en aurai 12😉🔥. I have been adding EcoThrive charge too much which has cause lockout due to excess nitrogen in the soil, at first I thought it could have been PK but some research and listening to Brandon Rust I have come to my conclusion that it is a nitrogen toxicity. I was adding far too much organic microbes and supplements. Basically nitrogen locked out Calmag that caused tip burn, the plants or on the edge of a nitrogen toxicity but because they’re in Coco and have had a mixture of organic and synthetic the organic side has acquired to much nitrates locking out calcium to the tips of the leaves The BBM has had tip burn the cheese looks too green, both are dark green but the Cheese has more foliage to store the nitrogen hence why little tip burn but more of a vegetative colour, the BBM has hardly any fan leaves left after a strip early in flower. I also think I defoliated too early, but then to second guess I believe if I didn’t feed to much organics the flowers would be much further along. After the previous 2 feeds I can notice the buds picking back up again. Hopefully I can continue with this mix I’m using now and get some consistent bud growth over the next week. I’ll be glad when this one is over. The summer heatwaves are just tiring when you’re growing especially in coco.
