We're rolling into week 22, the 9th week of flower for these wonderful girls. Possibly the last week they'll have, at least the last week UKBS 1 may have. They've both shown great progress in terms of growth in the past week in my opinion, and the trichomes are beginning to present as cloudy with a smattering of amber. I like my CBN, so I prefer to let them amber slightly more than most. Rest assured I'll be keeping a close eye on trichome color in this next week or two. Timelapse is out for the week. Updates come as the week progresses, as usual. EOS T5 shots are out. -7/4/2021 - A cola on Carl 1 was too heavy for it's own good, and snapped. I decided to remove and dry it as I really don't see a point in trying to re-attach it at this point in flower. -7/6/2021 - Another cola snapped on Carl 1. Unfortunate, I was hoping she'd fatten up further first. Ah well.

This should be interesting. Let's see what we can do with this one. Thanks Short Stuff. Auto Gorilla OG is possibly the most exciting strain we have ever had the pleasure of working with. She is tall, incredibly vigourous, smells delicious and has potency levels which are off the hook. We had heard a lot about Gorilla Glue #4 and managed to get our hands on a cut of this super-strong and highly resinous strain which has being causing such a buzz. We then set about crossing it with our favourite Auto OG Kush until we had Auto Gorilla OG.  The results have blown us away… The trichome count is just out of this world with resin ‘gluing up’ your scissors when you harvest her and mountains of sift being produced when you are manicuring the dried buds.  When growing Auto Gorilla OG get ready for some explosive growth from day 1. This strain is really vigourous and pushes out branches and bud sites in all directions while reaching a height of up to 1-2 metres (4 feet). Once she has finished her stretch she will start filling out and the buds will become super chunky and resinous as the trichome production goes into overdrive. The smell has classic OG funk elements with pine scents and earthy aromas but there is also some extra special fruit salad candy in the mix which makes it one of our favourite smelling strains.  The potency of Auto Gorilla OG is not to be taken lightly; she is one of the strongest strains we have ever tried, autoflower or photoperiod. Tests have shown THC levels in excess of 23%. The effect of Auto Gorilla OG is very fast acting with an instant all over body buzz and a very uplifting head-high. We have found this strain great when you need to get stuff done but also very good for the end of the day when you want to wind-down and even get to sleep. The high is long lasting and can go on for 2 or 3 hours before mellowing.  Due to the massive trichome production of Auto Gorilla OG she is the perfect strain for making hash, Rosin or extracts from so nothing is wasted. I think she's suffering from some light burn from my LED's, take a look at the pics of the top bud sites. I completely rearranged my tent and got the LED on her side up as far as it can go. I hope that helps. The buds themselves look completely fine but the sugar leaves are turning dark purple and yellow. This is only happening on the upper most bud sites. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. 🌿 Permanent Marker – Pheno #2 | Harvest Report (Week 13 From Seed / Week 9 Flower) A special chapter, done in a special way. 🌟 A Little Apology First… My dear GrowDiaries family — before anything else, let me start with a small but sincere apology. Because of the new file upload limitations, I had to divide the harvest + trim + drying reports into separate entries. I wish I could show everything in one flow, but I didn’t want to risk losing photos, videos, or important details. So today’s update is fully dedicated to Pheno #2, and next week we’ll honor Pheno #1 with the same love and detail. Thank you for your understanding — and thank you to @GrowDiaries for constantly improving the platform. 💚 🌸 HARVEST – Permanent Marker Pheno #2 (The compact queen who surprised us all.) Where do I start? This girl… wow. She stayed compact, she stayed green, she stayed loyal to her structure — and yet she exploded with floral terpenes and resin in a way I did not expect. She was also, in the end, the fluffier of the two phenos — but fluffy in a good way. Fluffy with volume, aroma, and resin. Not weak — not airy — just beautifully textured. The Reality Check — Bud Rot We did find one single bud showing a small spot of rot. This was expected considering the heat and humidity battles of the room. Others in the room showed more issues — but she held incredibly strong. Nothing major — nothing that affected quality. One bud tossed away, the rest? Absolutely perfect. Just honesty and transparency here, as always. Drying Process We dried her whole plant, hung upside down, untouched for 14 days in a stable environment. Two weeks later, she was crispy on the outside, perfectly cured inside — exactly how I love it. ✂️ Hand Trim – The Love Work Every leaf removed by hand. Scissors, fingers, patience, and care — nothing machine-handled, only craft. She trimmed beautifully, leaving behind full, round, fragrant buds. Final Weight & Cure After trimming and preparing: ➡️ 212 grams dry & cured Official, stable, clean weight. A fantastic result for a compact plant. Everything went into Grove Bags, sealed, labeled with Zamnesia strain tags to keep everything organized for the long cure. She cured for 2.5 months, and my love… She became magic. 🌈 Flavors, Aromatics & Smoke The floral terps are loud, bright, elegant. Day 42 - Both plants are growing nice and bushy, buds are getting form on both plants. Booster was added end of the week to accelerate buds forming.

Day 1-12/12/21 I placed the seeds into a glass of water for 24hours! Day 2-13/12/21 I have put the seeds on a wet paper towel on a plate! Day 4-15/12/21 seeds have been put into soil and placed into tent!!!day 6-17/12/21 most of the seeds are showing first signs of leafs

So this final week the buds on this Orange Hill Special are filling out. They are getting rock solid and the calyxes are doing their final swelling. Also, the trichomes have started forming and up close, they are forming a white sticky film over the whole bud. The buds feel heavy and compact, although their size could have been bigger but not complaining with this amount of bud. I have just been feeding some perma tea and clean water since this soil is probably very high in nutes by now. I had some brown leaf points so just adjusted and all was fine. Now we go into the final one or two weeks. I did some final defoliation to expose some underside buds, they are swelling too. Removed some sticky underside larf, kept it in a box to gradually dry for a preliminary taste test coming days.
