Cracked a few stems, twisting them 2, 3 points in the main stem and once on each lateral stem, very early monstercropping, cracked the stem without rupturing xylem or phloem channels, minimal recovery, maximum stress and response. There is a new need for significant reinforcement. I know this knuckle will eventually require the throughput of a superhighway. No point in dilly-dallying. Growth grinds to a halt, at least it feels like that. Energy is now distributed fairly evenly to each stem at equal heights and equal light intensity. Growth is not slower; there is just far, far more to do all at once in equal measure, start raising her soil EC up to 1.0mS/cm and maintaining. Upped to 40DLI for now. Temps back in the daytime 87+ range. NPK Raw Grow to keep the soil water solution at 1.0ms/cm, thereabouts. Enzymes and amino acids are applied foliarly to the underside of leaves each night 🌙. Aim to coat the undersides of the leaves where the majority of the stomata are located. Use a spray with smaller droplets to increase the surface area of the leaves that are covered. Adding a surfactant to the mix can help the spray spread better on the leaf surface, improving absorption. Just remember not to add anything immobile.. Heat denatures enzymes. "blah blah what's the point? It's hardly going to do much." Plants have a surprisingly low photosynthetic efficiency, typically converting only 1% to 2% of the total solar energy that hits them into chemical energy. (Too much defoliation and high VPD all night). In fully optimized conditions, that rises to 6%-8% efficiency. Plants may use approximately 25% of their respiratory energy (50% of total respiration) for enzyme turnover, which includes production and repair, but the exact energy cost for heat damage repair is not specific, as the total respiratory energy is not definitively given for plants. Plants generally have a high protein turnover rate, with enzymes making up a substantial portion of this turnover. 10% total ATP is photosynthetically processed. 90% total ATP is processed during cellular respiration. 25% -50% total respiratory energetic output is spent on enzyme turnover (Ballpark). Sounds like it's worthwhile to me. The longer you have waited, the harder you must swing.

day 70 Light hits with around 850 - 1000 PPFD had nothing to do this week. I just let her finish out. Terps are already there.

August 5th. 52 days post flip. Clones: All 3 plants are Growing well with number 2 doing exceptionally well Had some bottom leaves falling off and obviously top buds above light not doing great on all 3 so we just installed an ion beam s16 from AC infinity as supplemental lighting for those top colas and one at the center for deeper penetration. I think the added 60 watts of high quality Samsung horticultural LEDs will help this plant. Going to be top dressing them here soon to keep them happy and healthy. As far as bud structure goes number two is my favorite. Tightest density and I think it will finish well. Number 3 is super interesting. Going to grow a giant upside tear drop shape bud by the looks of it. And last but not least number 4 the weirdo is beyond words. Parents: Growing well. God bless

My Sticky Rice plant is still on the smaller side, but it's got a really strong smell, and I love the look of its leaves. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.

All coming on strong now uploading photos next week for the start of week 4 of veg all bushing up nicely. Not sure but I think the sugar breath may have topped itself.

Everything is going well still. Slight bit of nutrient burn starting as some of the tips I noticed were turning pale almost yellow or brown. So I backed off this week. Feeding just PH balanced water and some SLF100 with Herculean Harvest and Olympus up from Oregon’s Only. We’ll see what happens this next week to come. Hoping to stop the small issue in its tracks and continue to be super healthy to finish. I’ve been able to really dial in temps and humidities in the tent. The air flow is perfect. Light is just right. Another week and I’ll add my 2nd light to really get her going when she’s ready to start stretching. All in all everything’s great minus the nute burn.

I over water this past week but got back on track ,it took about 2 day for her to come back around,, but a great week

So I’m making my nurturers then diluting down to my desired ppm be careful using these nutrients at full strength with autos! Test and tried will burn and tox your plant! I transplanted into one gallon pots the last day of week two May 6th,2023. They seem to have taken very well to the transplant. 🤞🤞🤞

Well I almost out of my base nutrients and the grow store and everywhere else was sold out tell next month so I had to switch to my Jungle Juice I had left from my last grow. I have roughly 80ml left of the other stuff and I'd rather save that for my 2x2 grow that's still going. Adjusted all the lights up to make more light in the room. Now there is a good solid light amount across the room and should have to worry with any light burns or anything. Had a bit of yellowing in some of my leaves. Think it's because I was running my PPM so low before. Now that I've cranked it up a bit I hope it corrects itself. Well that's all so happy growing everyone!!!

Sticky is almost done! You can see i have been feeding her like crazy, colour of her leaves are almost Luminous Green! 😁👏 (i am flushing her RN👍) She is done but her bud needs at least 2 more weeks(maybe one, if she gets enough solar power..) becouse of the lack of sunshine.. ..but i know she will get them done!👊 Sticky has proven 2 b boss again, so many pests, bugs and bad weather she had.. and very few hours of daylight.. but she has been budding very nicely!👊 (and smelling so sweet!) cant wait till i can get my fingers sticky😁... Not much has changed this week. Both plants are growing steadily, although the previously injured plant is slightly behind the other one. I expect this difference to balance out over time. You can clearly see where the leaves were damaged earlier, and they are now growing a bit twisted and deformed as a result. The larger plant is already showing strong indica traits with big leaves and thick fingers. During the week, the plants will most likely be transplanted into a larger pot and will receive their BioTabs treatment – including nutrients and beneficial microorganisms. Basically the whole organic setup. I’m confident they’re going to love it. I’ll be away on vacation for a few weeks after this update, so some diary entries may be posted with a slight delay. The plants will be taken care of and watered during that time, and progress will still be documented. Both plants were successfully transplanted into 3.5 liter pots and received the full BioTabs treatment, including microorganisms and nutrients. The substrate is based on reused and reconditioned soil with roughly 50% perlite mixed in. The base soil is BioBizz Light Mix. Since watering is done exclusively with osmosis water, about 7 g of dolomite lime per liter of soil was added to provide proper calcium and magnesium buffering. This run marks the first time following the BioTabs “just add water” strategy. The substrate was prepared accordingly and amended with Startrex and Silicium Flash. Before placing the plants into their new pots, Mycotrex was sprinkled directly into the planting hole and one BioTab was added to each pot. After transplanting, the leaves were lightly sprayed with Boom Boom Spray. The substrate was then watered with osmosis water mixed with Bactrex. Everything went smoothly and the plants handled the transplant very well. From here on, it’s all about letting the biology do the work.
