This week went well for the Durban Nights. Not much to report, she hit day 14 today and is working on her 3rd node, I will transplant her in 48 hours, then hopefully top her in about a week or less. I will wait for her to grow at least 7 nodes so I am sure her roots are solid before the topping, but she will absolutely explode after transplanted into coco coir so that shouldnt be a problem. I will also complete the first two sets of toppings at the 3rd node, so that should shave a little time off as well as I previously completed the 2nd and 3rd toppings at the 5th and 3rd node to further spread out the plant. Super excited for this strain as it is a cross of Durban Thai and Jack Herer which are two of my favorite Sative Strains. I hope everyone has a safe weekend. I had such a good response applying raw aloe very gel to the silver haze, just look at this weeks pics compared to last weeks. You can clearly see the difference. Aloe is high in beneficial enzymes and growth factors and more importantly an excellent source of silica. Cannabis flower, specifically the trichomes are made up of between 78% and up to 86% silica depending on the cultivar, so far only a small number of cultivars have been tested. However its clear that cannabis flowers NEED silica. Silica will also help with drought tolerance, it will armour your plant against pests, it will help the plant with transpiration, it will make water transport much easier for the plant, freeing up energy for other things like flower production. Also, If used as a foliar spray once a week in veg, it will help tighten up node spacing. So if you want those frosty buds make sure you have silica readily available for your plants.

4/28/25 chopped at day 54 of flowering. Top buds have a nice amount of amber trichomes. was going to let her go another week but the threat of pests made me chop early but its okay shes ready. will update with final weight and smoke report in a week or so. 5/5/25 dried for 7 days and then jarred. i am finding that she was self producing fairly lowkey and successfully. balls and male parts with seeds right below. Probably wont continue with these seeds and i tossed the clones. This plant is white with the density of trichomes on her. She would probably test fairly high.

Plant is growing well. Probably the prettiest one outta the bunch so far.

In week 3 of flowering, the ladies suffered from nutrient deficiency. Due to vacations, they had SPA water only for a week. I immediately added nutrients to the water tank, with an EC of 1.8 I will also add green sensation starting this week. I also defoliated them, all the affected leaves are almost all gone.

Hi everyone! Sooo… Looks like those girls slowly are getting back🤭 Slowly increasing water volume,but nothing crazy yet. Instead of watering once a week,now i’m watering 2-3 times. Doing some topping also.height in flower room is really tight,that means i’m after in lower,bushier plants (well probably we all after that🙄) I think another week or so,and i will transplant them to final pots and can’t wait to see them flowering!

Flowerweek 6 has startet 😁😁😁

The buds are really packing in the weight and resins. There so heavy the head buds are starting to drop. Switched to overdrive and cut all other nutes in half. They are holding up well. No stress signs at all. It's looking like they want a few more weeks of flowering. I'm watching them and listening to the signs they show.Everything is going great. Can't wait to taste these lovely ladies.

Nun ist es offiziell. Meine Pflanzen blühen. Obwohl beide so unterschiedlich sind, die ist 50 und die andere 40cm groß, haben beide gleichzeitig angefangen zu blühen. Beim nächsten mal gießen kommt dann der erste Dünger dazu. Plagron alga bloom. Ich nehme wie manche Leute empfehlen nur die Hälfte, da es sich um automatics handelt. Am Samstag habe ich nun das erste Mal gedüngt. 5ml auf 1l Wasser Pragron alga bloom. Sonntag habe ich mein Pflanzen gemessen. 70 und 48cm. Meisterlich Ich werde eine Woche nicht bei meinen Pflanzen sein können. Sie werden von Dritten gepflegt werden. Also Wasser und Dünger geben. Denke zweimal Wasser wird reichen. Dann nächste Woche wieder mehr.

well, another week goes by and it's growing not like I expected hehehe but that's ok, living and learning, and for now I'll just wait for this cycle to end to start a new one and post it here and I'll tell you right away that I ordered a kit advanced nutrients starter and will test it on the new cycle. =D

I'm a newbie grower, not sure how well these buds will fill out. They're the best I've grown yet. What nutrients should I be giving my plants? I want to improve upon each growth cycle and I believe the right nutrients is all I'm missing.

Buds are forming very well. Smell is nice and increasing. Been removing big fan old leaves so sunlight can penetrate all the plant, and concentrate energy on flowers. Organic fertilization very carefully to prevent nutrient burn.

Hey guys, allot happened this week. Mid week on Wednesday I did a major heavy defoliation, she was very bush and allot of internode growth. I clean up everything and allowed more light pen. Also nipped any undesired off growths. Shaping how I want the plant to grow. Basically lollipoping. As you can see I also started to install 4x 1/2 bamboo sticks to help support the plant once she gets bigger. I had problems last year late into flower and don't want to repeat same mistake. I also amended the pots with 70/30 ratio of 444 to 284 @ 2tbs/gal. Iv only water once in the past 7 days with the Aquabak. Not enough data to review the product. We will see. Other than that we have had plentiful thunderstorms and have not required to water. Thanks to the felt pots, they did not get flooded with the amount of rain we got. Prolly 50-100mm worth of rain. 26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it.
