Tag 53: Noch eine Woche Düngen, dann wollte ich anfangen zu Spülen.

The addition of an enzyme has produced amazing results that were shocking and worrying at first. Massive rise in EC and PH every 24 hours from 5.3 - 6.8. Research yet no sign of any harm to the plants, in fact they seem very happy! The enzymes has created an environment friendly to the beneficial microbes and fungi that has lead to a feeding frenzy (Which wouldn't have happened ad I used Hygrozyme from the start.). EC rises a point or two as the microbes and plants expel waste and create a plethora of negative charged hydrogen ions. Thus, the PH rises. Never above 6.8, strangely. Because the microbes are eating and shitting so well, they have added a lot of chilated nutrients that are easier for the plants to uptake at a wider range of PH (Yes, some as high as 6.8). The fact that there are so many bunches of calyxes sprouting and exploding, filling in the flower space is proof enough for me. Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! Might have waited too long but hopefully the transplant and LST stress might slow the plant down since i think it's already flipping to flower like the other @SweetSeeds Dark Devil Auto and the Purple Lemonade from @FastBuds. I think the Red Poison might have been the first one I noticed to flip but at least this one will be quick. More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights 🙌 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 The Red Poison Auto is going strong other wise, keeping the LST basic to see if I can still get the screen in the tent but it wouldn't be practical at this point. I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. Just like the Dark Devil in my other Sweet Seeds diary, there is a solid smell on the fingers after adjusting it/when the fan hit it just right 😍 I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. Some of it shown in the pictures. They’re finally doing their thing. There’s a little smell in the tent now, not crazy but definitely there. The cold temps definitely have them using way less water and nutes but they’re still doing ok despite lights out temps in the 40’s. The Green Crack has gone from the most to the least impressive in my opinion although I’m still looking forward to trying out the flowers. The gelato has blown me away, you’d never know it was 2 weeks younger than the others besides it being a little behind on the flower. Hoping to chop these ladies next month, thanks for hanging out with me for this run, bud shots coming next update!

Did the heavy defoliation open up most of the bud sites Slight smell starting, Tropicana cookies is mild but semi sweet, absolutely insane colors to show this early on IMO, can’t wait for and result! B.P.P is more gassy and a stronger smell, having good trichome production on this plant

Day 40 ( 3 in flower) : I think it is safe to say that the flowering has kicked into full gear now and her stretch is on. Been a few issues sorting the dosage of the Mega crop with the Los soul in particular. Balancing the NPK with additional silica and calmag had me worries I had been hitting them too strong but in fact the power of the 900w Led lights being too close and intense had been clawing the bigger plants at the edges and not the mc. # 1 is going for gold and looking very healthy and happy. she is spreading g out nicely and will be a nice yield I think. #2 looks like she's hating something in her soil/coco and has some obvious damage from it. she is still growing skyward but is a lot smaller than the rest in the room. #3 Growing nicely and getting ready for a good defol this week. They are good to train and now big enough to be held to the pot edges with wire. This next week will see an increase in their Mc dosage by .5g. Her flowers are coming along nicely too all over the stems, roll on bud building. Green days all

A wonderful genetic thank you Fast Buds ❤️‍🔥🤩 The trim was super easy the buds are FAT & FROSTY full of resin 🤤 I’m very happy with the harvest 142g !! For the light i’ve used the Mars Hydro SP-6500💡

 

Day 54 and I think we're on track to harvest some time next week. I've decided not keep any of these as a mom, the back left one has some potential but non really seem like good hash plants. I'll jar test each to make sure but all have really greasy trichromes.
