Flower Week 6 – Ripening Phase Begins The girls are now in week 6 of flowering, and the ripening phase has officially begun! The buds are noticeably denser, and resin production has kicked into overdrive — the trichomes are mostly cloudy, with a few early amber heads starting to appear. This week’s macro shots show the frost levels going insane, with every surface covered in sticky crystals. 24K Gold is showing classic ripening behavior: Her pistils are beginning to darken and curl inwards, while the calyxes start to swell. The aroma is becoming very pronounced — a sweet citrus funk mixed with a deep earthy undertone. Gelato 33 continues to build resin like crazy. The buds are slightly smaller but completely coated in trichomes. She’s developing that creamy-sweet scent typical of the strain, filling the tent with a dessert-like smell. Both plants still look perfectly healthy — the feeding routine and semi-hydro setup are keeping everything stable. But the other 26 are almost done. 2 different phenos. 1 is shorter and compact. Finishing quicker. The other wants to stretch and finish a week or so after.. 3.9.2024: Start of week 8. Day 50 from seed, 46 from sprout. Nothing doing today, plant is healthy and getting fatter by the day. Plucked a few leaves but thats it. 3.10.2024: Day 51. Fed 1/4 strength fox farm trio mixed w/ calmag into over a gal of 6.5ph water. Gave roughly 3 liters of the solution. Runoff ppm is finally under 1000. Might increase nutes to 1/2 strength moving forward. Bud development on the main cola is almost half the main stalk now. I'm no pro when it comes to taking pictures so its hard for me to get clear, detailed shots of the nugs. 3.11.2024: Day 52, 48 from sprout. Moving along nicely. 3.12.2024: Day 53. Fed 1/4 strength, roughly 96oz at 6.4ph. I broke the feed/water/feed schedule and fed twice in a row. Also did some lite defoliation on the bottom fan leaves that weren't getting light. 3.13.2024: Day 54 from seed. Plant is doing its thing. 3.14.2024: Day 55. Fed again at 1/4 strength, 96oz at 6.6ph. Runoff ppm was 880. 3.15.2024: Day 56 from seed, 52 from sprout.

I think multiple things have gone wrong during this grow. resulting in Buds that are really not great to smoke. buds smell funny. it will get you high but it's just not pleasent for smoking. i don't think this is because of this strain but more of the way i have grown it. I decided to grind all and i'll make THC oil out of it. really glad this grow is completed tho.

Die Gorilla Melon hält sich vom Höhenwachstum wieder zurück und hat viele Untertriebe ausgebildet. Um den unteren Trieben für den Stretch nochmal die Chance zu geben, habe ich die großen Fächerblätter entfernt. Präventiv Neemöl gesprüht, weil ich ein paar Freunde gesehen habe. Spraymix alle 2 Tage. Heute wird auch die Lampe auf 12/12 umgestellt.

Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

Also endlich ist meine Bestellung gekommen.. nach mehr als 4 Wochen. In meinem Zelt ist auch die Luftfeuchtigkeit teilweise nicht mehr unter 65% gefallen und die Temperaturen wollten nicht hoch. Jetzt ist wieder platz. Alle stehen jetzt in 14L außer die Orange Bud, die bleibt in 2Liter. Die Orange Bud wird auch bis auf den Headbud kahl gemacht, möchte nur mal schauen wie sie so raus kommt vlt werd dann die Stecklinge im nächsten durchgang verwenden. Im kleinen Zelt stehen jetzt noch: 1x Og Kush 1x Cookies Kush 1x Zkittly Zi Zi 1x Skywalker Og Gelato Auto 1x Orange Bud Alle anderen Pflanzen sind jetzt im großen Zelt, habe leider vergessen ein Foto zu machen. Da das Zelt nicht bei mir steht und ich da auch nicht so oft vorbei komme wird von dem anderen Zelt nur ab und zu mal was zu sehen sein aber aufjedenfall bei der Ernte.
