The scent is becoming noticeable throughout the whole room. It’s kind of like very ripe banana and… fresh sweat. But not in a disgusting way. It actually reminds me of a gym after someone had a banana protein shake 🍌💪 That’s just my personal perception — I can’t describe it any better 😜 A calcium deficite has been spottet 😢

This was a real easy grow I hope the smoke is what it's hyped up to be...one frostbanger on the way next...

Plante très facile a cultiver et très jolie.ses teinte de pourpre , violette et verte lui donne un look assez unique .La couleur rouge est plus présente et vif depuis qu'elles sont sec Les têtes sécher son un peut flufy et la génétique a tendance a faire des foxtailing durant la pousse . Des arôme un peut raisin un peut bais additionner d'un léger terreux. j'aurai préférer un peut plus moufette mais délicieux tout de même.

So all the plants are topped twice now and have all took well , my next step will be lowering my scrog net into position and also attach some gutter for collecting my runoff

I initially soaked the seed in lukewarm tap water for 24 hours, at which time the shell had split and a root tip was visible. I then transferred the seed to a pre-soaked peat pellet which was placed in a 1.5"x1.5" plastic seedling pot which was set into the bottom half of a Solo cup that I cut in half. 4/6- As soon as I could see a root beginning to emerge from the peat pellet I transferred the pellet, that I first coated with Extreme Gardening's MYCOS, into a Solo cup that had a 70/30 Coco/Perlite mix that was pre-amended with Gaia Green 4-4-4 slow release dry amendment, along with wiggle worm castings. After placing the GG4 Sherbet FF in the cup, I watered it in and placed a humidity dome over it to ensure that it stayed in a relatively moist environment as she gets acclimated to her new 'temporary home'. 4/8- The FastBuds GG4 Sherbet FF has taken right to her Solo cup and is looking stress free. Howdy, So this last week has been about learning, quickly. Plant 2 has been suffering from yellowing, I noticed that at first it was a darker green than plant 1 - (first signs of Mg deficiency I have since learned). As plant 1 was doing so well until a few days ago, I originally assumed that plant 2 was just a bit of a slacker. I think basically it is more susceptible to PH differences than plant 1. First mistake was not knowing about the benefits of PH range... What I did not know earlier in the week is that Mg and Ca are only absorbed efficiently at 6.0 and above, my OCD kicked in and I refused to let the PH wander above 5.7; as from what I have read in forums, 5.7 is the sweet spot. Main lesson from last week is that I'm not going to be so anal about PH levels, I will let the PH rise to 6.3 before I drop it back down to 5.7, this will give the plants and window of time to grab hold of some well deserved CalMag before I drop it back down so it can retrieve some Mn and P if it needs any. My plants told me they were in need of Calcium over a week ago, but I naively thought that maybe I spilled a droplet of water on one of the leaves, and that caused it to burn. As I was adding CalMag+ to the solution when I replenished the reservoir. My second mistake was panicking... After realising above, I bombed the nutrient solution with 35ml of Cal Mag, bringing up the PPMS to 460, this subsequently gave the strongest plant nutrient burn. On top of this, I gave both plants a foliage spray during lights out with some diluted CalMag as well. So anyway, the main thing I have learnt is when the plants are ill, its probably best to take it easy, do a res swap at the very worst and concentrate on my PH levels first before throwing more variables into the fray. Positive notes: Plants 1 & 2 is now working on their 5th node, I know I am technically allowed to top at this point, but I am going to wait until they are working on their 7th before doing anything, this way I will be able to tell if the new growth is looking healthy, and my investigations are correct. I have now installed a Hailea 150a, with a submersible pump, this is now keeping the reservoir at 20ºc and its keeping the nutrients well mixed, I'll post a video later this week showing the set up. The roots at the top look a little dark, but I have done a sniff test and they don't smell at all, I think it is just where some of the tea has built up where the bubbles meet the air. Roots do seem rather large, maybe they have stretched so far looking for Mg and Ca :P Decided against increasing PPMS, going to do another week, so 5 weeks veg, gives the ladies some time to recover. Trimmed the burns off of leaves mainly so I can keep a track to see if damage is continuing. Anyways, I hope the above makes sense and draws other newbies attention towards PH ranging for hydro; I have posted a pic which shows the PH range for each important element. Thanks! 😊

Had a bit of a cat-tastrophy this week. I left my tent open to go and fill a bucket of water, came back and zipped it up. What I didn't know is that the cat got in. Not 5 minutes later I can hear all sorts of shit moving around so I came in to find I had zipped him and and he went bonkers and bent almost every branch on the Skunk. So I had to do emergency tie jobs, but I ended up losing 2 medium colas and 1 small one. Could have been much worse if the skrog net wasn't there to stop them from snapping. Injuries look like bent plastic straws, so I'm going to be watching her closely to see if she herms from that massive amount of stress. Some of the pics have cat hair in them, thank the little brat. Anyway, Skunk is a 45-50 day finisher so I'm going another week and then she gets the chop. Lots of microscope videos today and finally found an amoeba. Also something moving in an egg...what is it? That's at 400x so I think it's a nematode egg based on what I found online. If you look closely at the super zoomed in trichome shot, you can see the reflections of other trichomes...just fucking epic.👏 All the food stops now, too much in the soil for her to start senescence. Nothing but water and FFJ now. New pistils are still coming in so who knows, maybe she'll keep going a few more weeks.

Nächste Woche, vermute ich werden die beiden Pflanzen in ihren neuen Topf umziehen und dort sieht Mann den Vergleich dann erst richtig, da dort dann die ganze Palette der organischen Growdünger zum Einsatz kommt. Für den ultimativen Vergleich kommen bald noch zwei neue Diaries mit zwei identischen Stecklingen um genau zu beobachten wie was performed. Die Pflanzen entwickeln sich super gut und sind sehr robust. Die Seitentriebe bilden sich immer weiter aus. Die Blattform ist schön Breit und Buschig.
