All went well this week, apart from my phmeter breaking... I guess more two weeks of waiting. The colas are well developed, but the lower flowers ain't. But both are full of tricomes.

2 Gallons every feed PH to 6.2 So far im liking trainwreck. I did a ton of trimming i wanted more light to hit my bud sites. As they say we ain't growing leaves. Think I need to add more cal-mag might be turning into a cal-mag whore? We will see......

[Week 1 - Germination] The Fat Banana seed has germinated and looks very healthy. Very small leaves have appeared in the past two days!

Big mistake I made with lightning , which made this strain suffer a lot. Inderlit buds lead to larf, will reduce that next time. I didn’t really weight it, it’s going for hash, but left at least 100g as flower.

The plants are doing quite well so far, but one is much bigger than the other. At first, I thought it was due to genetics. However, I'm starting to suspect that it might be my fault—specifically the frozen water bottle I use to regulate the reservoir temperature. If I don't use the ice bottles, the temperature rises above 22°C, but I think the roots of the smaller plant might be getting a cold shock. I’ve already learned a lot from this project that I will do right from the start in my next DWC grow 🙂

This week went really great! Plants are looking super healthy today at day 22 from seed!! Today they got a dose of just pure water phd at 6.5 ! Temperature an humidity has been staying pretty stable everyday, staying around 70-75 degrees and 58-61 % humidity!! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! Plant is looking mighty fine, definitely one great strain to grow. Someday I'd like to see her natural shape, as I could see it being one nice bushy baby. I still need to perform some defoliation and cutting of branches, but it's alright for now. I will defoliate in a day or two, and then follow up with the cuttings a little while after. I still haven't decided if I'm going to clone the cuttings or not. I am lazy enough that I don't want to, but I'm frugal enough to not want to waste good buds. I probably will clone them. If I have room to stuff them in the flower tent, I will. If not, I'll have to grow them out a bit, and then flower them when I can. 11/22/21: Day 37. ✂️🍃 Defoliated and cut some branches, the 6 that were big enough were dipped in rooting gel, and placed in rooting cubes. Now resting inside the humidity dome. Once rooted and transplanted, allow a bit of time to veg, and then move over into the flower tent. If there is no room, see if Crit wants some, and Josh as well. Plant definitely needs watering, which I will administer later on this evening. 11/23/21: Day 38. 💧Love the way this plant explodes with growth, this bugger doesn't seem to want to stop. Hoping at least one of those clones roots, so I can see what an untouched branched will flower into. If I ever get these seeds again, I will definitely grow one out that is untouched, I'm curious to see it's natural shape. At only 6 weeks of life, this guy is already bigger than my previous photoperiods at 8 weeks old. Those yielded around 3 ounces each, so I'm expecting a lot more from this one. I will be defoliating most of the leaves on colas, hopefully forcing them to bulk up the buds. It's a technique I've been reading about, and would like to give it a shot. Gave a fair dose of water, but I don't think the entire media was saturated. That is something I find difficult with Gaia Green. Watering to a little runoff is easy, and a simple way to tell if it's completely saturated or not. Since I don't want runoff, I feel as if I'm using a lot less water than I should be. I plan on buying some Coco coir soon, and that I know I will be needing to water a lot more often, which is fine with me. I may even eventually switch over to an automated watering system. Only gravity fed, with drip emitters, that way it's on autopilot for 3 weeks at a time, minus the tweaking of leaves and branches. That would be ideal, eventually, especially with autos, then I can literally do sweet f**k all with the plants. Even if I don't get an automated watering system setup, I still want to switch over to a Coco coir and sunshine mix combo. I may even use some Coco outside with my outdoor plants, but not likely, as the sand is already very quick drying. 11/25/21: Day 40. The only issue I have with this plant, is that I don't get to grow it as big as I'd like to. It still feels like it's going to be one heavy producer though, the way it grows like crazy. We will see how it reacts to the flip into flower 9 or 10 days from now. I will continue to train some branches to keep it spread out. I really wish I was able to go back and redo this one, have it handled better from the start, and grow it out by itself. I will be defoliating in the next few days, and also removing any small shoots that cannot be trained back inwards. 11/27/21: Day 42. 💧Plant is still looking amazing. It is definitely time for another haircut, but I will leave that for tomorrow morning, so it has less time to regrow a bunch of leaves before the flip. One week left, I can't wait. I'm curious to see how much this stretches during flower. I will be tying more branches down as needed, and will now start training the new shoots inwards, to fill out any gaps.

Week 10 - Fifth Week of Flower The Donutz tent is stepping into its fifth week of flower with some exciting developments and a few surprises. The plants are thriving, and the vibes remain immaculate as the grow progresses. Key Updates: Purple Phenos: 3-4 of the plants are starting to show stunning purple hues in their buds and sugar leaves. The color shift adds a beautiful contrast to the tent and hints at the unique expressions within the Donutz genetics. Different Phenotypes: While most of the plants are stacking up nicely, 1-2 phenos are a bit on the thinner side with less bud density. It’s a reminder of the natural variability in genetics, but there’s still time for them to fill out in the coming weeks. Environment & Care: Stable Conditions: Temperature, watering (reverse osmosis), and overall care are dialed in perfectly. The plants are enjoying a consistent, stress-free environment with plenty of love. Healthy Growth: The rest of the tent is looking strong, with vibrant buds and trichome development continuing to ramp up. Observations: The purple phenos are a standout feature this week, bringing extra visual appeal to the tent. Even the thinner phenos are showing healthy structure and potential to develop further before harvest. Trichome production is increasing, and the tent is starting to radiate that sweet, sticky aroma. Next Steps: Continue monitoring the thinner phenos to ensure they’re getting enough light and nutrients. Maintain stable environmental conditions and nutrient levels to support bud development. Keep a close eye on trichomes as they mature, watching for any signs of ripening as the grow approaches the final stretch. The Donutz are flourishing, and the tent is alive with color, aroma, and promise. The Florida Gang grind is paying off big time — the finish line is in sight!

here we are at the first week of flowering. the white pistils are starting to show and every few days I proceed with the HST. If you have any suggestions don't hesitate to write them 🌱

Day 43 - she is growing very well a. Blue Dream smells amazing, the most fragrant fastbuds strain i have ever grown b. the flowering is going very quickly, there are sites everywhere c. uploaded video Day 44 - removed the under brush a. this plant has a lot of very small branches that need to be removed b. replaced 6L of nutrient solution, raised the ppms to 850 c. the flowering process is going very well Day 45 - beast a. the buds are growing exponentially by the day b. there was 6L of nutrient solution missing from the DWC, replaced with plain water to keep ppms in check between 650 and 850ppm c. the smell is very intense of this plant, it has a very interesting special smell for sure, unlike any other strain ive grown Day 46 a. growing very well, the buds are expanding b. drinking so many nutrients, she is a hungry variety c. the stems on this plant are out of control! d. added 6L to the DWC, raise the PM to 900 Day 47 a. buds are forming nicely b. she is growing very well, still producing new stems! Day 48 - beast a. gave her a 6L shot of Cal-Mag + Mineral Magic booster, the plant is so large she needs more Calcium b. the smell is quite intense, the resin is already forming on the sugar leafs and the buds Day 49 - great a. growing very well, still drinking 6L per day - just giving her spring water, PH 6 right now... once PPMs get down to ~600, I will change the DWC for fresh flower blend. b. the stems are hard like wooden c. she needs a little more LST
