What’s up y’all!!?? Week 9 got me getting antsy I can’t lie. The trichomes are very milky white. The leaves are turning a deep green and a few of them even turning purple. This grow is in a tent with a photoperiod which has just began flowering. For that reason the light cycle is 12/12 which isn’t ideal but I gotta work with what I have. I’m not expecting a crazy amount out of this grow because of the light cycle change but I think it’s doing well for the circumstances. I’m expecting a 12 maybe even 13 week finishing on this plant. The light cycle it’s on does slowdown the flowering stage just a bit. I have some lower branches which have popcorn nuggets. It’s not much so I’m not going to worry about cutting them. Especially not this late in the flowering stage. I find myself watering / feeding every other day. Maybe every 2 days.

Week 2 (16/03/20) had abit of yellow turn up on the leaf. Took it as nutrient deficiency and topped up on A&B abit more. Now starting to look healthier. Started to tie the babys down to try and make a nice even canopy. Will upload week 3 next week😁👍

March 28th: She's still standing. I tried to take some trichome shots, but i'm not sure how well they are. It's my first shot at it, so cut me some slack! I gave about two gallons of water this week. I'm not sure if she's still drinking a lot, or if the pot getting dry faster is due to a few degree increase in temperature. All of the water was straight well water, not pH'ed. Which reminds me: pH of water doesn't matter when using living soil. The pH of the Soil is what matters. pH in hydroponics makes sense because the water is where your plants will pick up nourishment. The medium for hydro IS the water, which means your water needs proper pH. In soil, the pH is due to all the calcium, magnesium, micro and macro nutrients and minerals that are in it. That will create a pH in your soil. Now, you can also get a high pH in your soil due to sodium build-up. This isn't what you're looking for, as sodium build-up in soil is a no-no. Now, for the fun fact: If you have a low pH in your soil because you don't have enough calcium, pH'ing your water isn't going to do anything. You gotta fix the soil problem, which will correct the pH of the soil, and trying to use pH'ed water isn't the solution. You'd have to add more calcium to your soil to fix it. Anyway. Light intensity is still at 100%. As you can see, i've got some floppy branches on this cultivar. I gotta admit, i love when branches start floppin' around. It tells me that the plant is close to harvest! Just gotta wait on those trichomes to get a few more amber, then she'll be ready to chop. She's still only showing fade ever so slightly. The purple hue is nice, but i wish it would become a bit more pronounced. Maybe it will over the next few days. - I didn't weight wet buds. - The trichomes photos have been taken just before the harvest on buds all over the plant. - First time I see and have pink trichomes, they are beautiful! - The hash ball was a little less than 1cm diameter and was really good :) - Drying was made at 20°C and around 50% of humidity. - Humidity in jar between 60 and 65% on the first day, temperature around 20°C.
