Flowering! Return of the gnat issue this week. I am adding more gnat traps and adding a fan to point at the soil to dry it out. Lower leaves occasionally turn yellow and die off. About 5 a day. Still feeding RAW BLOOM at about 1.5tsps per gallon.

La alegria que se palpita es mucha! Siempre soñe con tener cogollos oscuros y esta es la primera vez! Es notable la diferencia entre la planta fertilizada con namaste y la de feeding, aunque con este solo utilize el Grow y el Booster. Esta ultima tiene un aroma mas plano, sutil, pero gana en volumen. En cambio con la que utilize namaste destaca mas la precencia de ese aroma como a frutos del bosque, dulce y terroso. A comienzos de pre flora aparecieron unos gusanos verdes que se multiplican muy rápido. La mayoria la elimine a mano, pero lo ideal es utilizar jabon potasico + Aceite de neem para eliminarlos inmediatamente.

Que pasa familia, vamos con la tercera semana de floración de estas Tropicana poison F1 de Sweetseeds. Vamos al lío , las 3 plantas seleccionadas fueron trasplantadas a su maceta definitiva, ya superaron el shock por el trasplante, estas semanas las paremos todas a floración. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de floración 12h de luz, el foco está al 100% de potencia. Las jodidas estiraron demasiado, veremos como acaban, no me gustan tan altas. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Week 4 of flower and the boys have finally spilled the pollen. It’s bloody everywhere in there so I expect that no bud has gone undefiled😎. The females have all witnessed a pretty significant nitro deficiency now that they’re trying to produce seed instead of flowers. We changed out the nute mix to 1/3 grow and 2/3 bloom and they immediately showed improvement. No slight against Druid at all - we moved to a different brand simply to conserve it for the flowering runs where it really matters👍. The lone separated spicy bitch female that entered flower early is looking really sexy. I very much doubt she’ll have escaped full pollination with this much in the air however. We won’t use any seed from this girl but if we’re lucky we might be able to pull out some sample bud. We’re taking down all the males today now that their job is done and we’ve also decided to harvest from the one specific cum dumpster male that has shown as the most vigorous. Doubt we’ll get around to using it before it’s shelf life expires but u never know. The details on that will be in the harvest entry coming up. Other than that - we’re through the fornication stage and it’s all just keeping the ladies alive until it’s time to extract some seeds👍😎👍. Still workn on the potential cross names - that’s the best part😉. Until next week🤟👊. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

D50. The start of the second week of flower, and all is well in the tent. The girls stretched quite a bit in the first week, and I'm curious how much they will stretch this week. I did some additional defoliation, removing leaves and branches that didn't make it above the scrog. ------------------------------ D51. The first girl shows early signs of a deficiency, which I suspect is a lack of magnesium. I guess the recent stretch is the cause, but I think the stretch is slowing down. I gave each girl 2.5 liters of water with 1.5 teaspoons of Epsom salt and a foliar spray with Epsom salt. That should hopefully take care of any lack of magnesium. I also calibrated my Hygrometer since I've noticed lately that it seemed a bit off. Sure enough, it was off by 7.9%. ------------------------------ D54. The tent is blowing up! The girls look great, and the first buds have started forming. However, they have more than tripled in size in almost two weeks, and I'm slowly running out of room in the tent. I've raised the lights as far as they go, and I hope that will be sufficient as I'm going out of town for a week, and the girls will be left to their own devices. The chlorosis hasn't spread, so I think the Epsom salt helped. Other than that, there's not much to report. ------------------------------

Week 18 Day 120 | 08/11/2021: I just can’t stop looking at them, they are so plump 🍑 I watered them today with just 1L of plain water because I want to harvest them in 4 days and don’t want them to wilt, but at the same time I know it’s better to let the soil be on the dryer side when harvesting. Day 124 | 12/11/2021: Today the beauties are being harvested!!! So exciting because they’ve been growing for a while and I can’t wait to finally vape them. From day 1, no, even from germination, the seeds were so strong and quite resistant to nutrient deficiencies. Very good and strong genes, I’m really happy that I tried them out! I will be hanging them with the stem to dry for 10-14 days, I keep the leaves so that the humidity can stay high in the tent, I used to struggle a lot with humidity when I would hang them without leaves, and then the buds tasted like hay for the next month, so I try to avoid that now. Can’t wait to see that the total weight is! They are quite big but I think the buds are not extremely dense so it could be deceiving 👀

At the end of the second week of bloom the super skunk feminised is doing good, the growth gained is 12cm. Her leaves are a stable green and signs of white stigmas at the tops gives indication of bloom. There’s no issues this week and she will be fed as required. Picking the odd leaf off watering every 3 days with ro with no run off. Must only have a a couple of weeks left looking and smelling heavenly

All good at the end i topped them and made cuttlings from it that do well now the canopy is nice and even Most hickups with the FG system are gone and next week we go to 12:12😁

I loved growing this strain from @Sweet_Seeds! I’ll definitely try their genetics again. She’s beautiful and vigorous and smells amazing with pine and citrus notes that remind me of my time in Colorado. My best grow yet.

First week of flower looking amazing

D88 - She stretched a lot and I did not intervene with her stretching that much. She doesn't even need any LST since the beginning of flowering. I am just defoliating her a little bit by taking out the leaves blocking the direct light and that's it. Pollination - Previously I harvested some male pollen from a female plant by spraying colloidal silver. This plant itself was a breed of White Rhino X AK47 (White47 I call it). Now I pollinate White 47 with AK47 again at the third week and it will have time to mature her seeds I hope. I marked the branches and turned off-the fan nearly for a day to prevent over-pollination. I took a video in case you want to create your own seeds!

Beautiful plant, she had a very nice stretch during the last 2 weeks of flower, and she's now starting to get chunky, the flowers smell really good, very gassy smell and also citrussy, let's see how this lady keeps fating up those flowers!

Day 45. Plants have grown huge in last week. Tallest one about 65cm. At its closest point the light is 6 inch. The bud sites furthest away are about 18 inch. Trying g to even out the canopy with some success. Just using the string method of LST and also moving the pot around to get an even amount of strong light.

Left it alone since flipping. Nice amount of stretching. Almost covering the netting now. Getting a little crowded, I should have done more defoliation
