Day 21 From Sprout - Rez Change Overall, very happy with the development over this past week. The ones that were already looking good at now looking great! The couple of “weirdos” (strange development of leaf/node placement) both have decent roots but are growing slowly. The couple that initially were throwing out more “jagged” leaves seemed to have settled in and are looking good now. Only 1 (back right corner) is iffy. Roots are slowwwwly dropping out of the basket but not yet in the water. Going to keep It around for now and see what happens. Continuing with Mantis @ the “always” rate of 5 ml/L. They’re loving it! Several of the “great ones” have 5-6 nodes developed, so I’ll top them back to the 3rd more and start training into a manifold since I’m going to give some of the others time to catch up. I’ll decide on training for them as we go.

I did her first water change on day 10 upped the nutrient dose and increased the reservior to 12 gallons. Gave her the first dose of armor si and humic acid. I topped her on day 12 to start 4 main branches. Will most likely top again and start training in about a week depending on how she wants to grow. The goal is a maximum of 5 weeks veg if they cooperate. They are under 240w qb and a galaxyhydro pulling about 140w for now. Will be adding more qb when I spread the buckets out.

The little seeds that could. They seem to be performing great. Lots of green and stretching. The third seed was unfortunately not going to make it, so done with that one.

Fastbuds Auto Update – Week 7 🌱 Another week has passed, and things are looking great! 🌿 This week I did a deep watering, almost like a mini flush, to bring down the PPM levels and keep everything balanced. 💧⚖️ The plants are thriving beautifully, and something really interesting has come up — three of them remind me so much of Blue Dream, which was actually the very first strain I ever grew! 🌸💭 The structure, the aroma, everything about them instantly took me back to those early days. It’s very likely that 3 seeds from this 10-seed mix pack are Blue Dream. 🍇✨ Such a pleasant surprise and a nice bonus of growing mix packs — you never know when a strain will unlock some great memories! 🌱💚.

7/24/23 - Day 42 - Ok, so where to start? I'm going to go over the last couple days of issues/troubleshooting. We had an issue with the lights not coming on for a whole day/night cycle. That was a couple of days ago, and everything seems okay since then. I had some Canoeing/tacoing on the leaves once the lights were back on. I think I had the PH too low, 5.8. In flower, I should start moving it up the scale. Once I corrected the PH to 6.2, the canoeing/tacoing in the leaves seemed to be gone/almost gone. I'm REALLY worried about the height of the plant. She is only 12 in. from the light that I cannot move. I added a second scrogg net???? I don't know if that's done a lot, but I'm going to try and stop if from growing straight up. I think the best I can do is give it a lean. So Ill call this the ScoggGL (GangstaLean). You'll see some pictures up top as I start the ScoggGL I did the first big trim and pulled a 3-gallon bucket of fan leaves out. I cut off a few side branches I didn't want the plant to waste energy on. I trimmed so many leaves off it was crazy. The smells have been awesome! You all know the smell of the fresh plant stems and leaves as you trim and rub across them. It's one of my favorite smells, which is in full effect. I noticed that I have some pistils growing. I know what that means, shes going to have some flowers here in the next week. I couldn't be more excited!!!!! The roots are just downright ruthless; they have been growing out of control. I have a great picture of them in there with no water. I should note that I did two things that might have solved the Tacoing in the leaves. It could have been one or the other, but it also could be a combo of both things. I did the trimming to get some airflow between the leaves and changed the target for my PH from 5.8 to 6.2. When moving into flowering, I should have already done that. But I did both things while the leaves were Tacoing, and now they are not. I wanted to make sure I noted that. 7/26/23 - Day 44 - Things are looking great. No more tacoing, she's growing and still drinking about 2+ gallons a day of water. I hope the vertical growth stops soon, I want to remove a ton more fan leaves, and I'm hoping that it spends more time growing around than up, I'm keeping some leaves on just to slow some vertical growth. 7/27/23 - Day 45 - She's sleeping right now, but I will chop some more fan leaves when she wakes up. She's growing too tall, and I need to find a way to stop her. I think shocking her system will help stunt her growth. How crazy is this, what a conundrum I'm in. Normally I stress out trying to find the right time to trim to avoid stunting growth. I always keep my plants busy and do one or two chops. I think they need to grow as mother nature intended. Let them grow and do one, maybe two fan leave chops. That's always been my motto and its always worked out great for me. This is now the exact opposite. Feels weird even thinking about it, doing a leave chop two weeks into flower..... ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!! Lol The 2nd chop has happened. I took a ton of fan leaves off. It's time for the plant to slow down heal and start working on the buds! Let's see how this goes over the next couple of days. I added a timelapse of me chopping her up. 7/28/23 - Day 46 - After adding more water last night, I was checking PH, and I did a quick check on the ppm from the nutes. If it went from 600ppm down to 130ppm in a couple of days. So we decided to give her another dose of nutes so she has something to eat. I'll update you after she wakes up for the day. Hope you guys had an alright week, the rain and floodings here in Europe has wreaked havoc on my outdoor garden, however this diary isn't about my Chamelauciums, its about that sticky green stuff. and boy this lady has started her stretch! I think I might have made the right call flipping her when I did because I can tell she's going to stretch big. Made adjustments to a couple of things this week; my bucket needed more oxygen, so I got a bigger pump and I have fixed my temperature issue by Literally just aiming an air-conditioner at the back of my tent, where my air pump is and as a result, now my water remains a chill 18 degrees! I also need to start keeping my tent closed, even though I absolutely love watching my plants during the day, some critters have made their way inside, eating at the leaves, for now in veg I don't really mind all that much, but I don't want any creepy crawlies when flowers start forming, those are mine and mine alone, not sharing those with any grasshoppers! I recommend keeping a go pro or something in your tent, its quite fun to observe grow, like how the leaves droop 20 minutes before lights out, and start praying upwards before light comes on, these plants really do get into a sleep like rhythm. doing a diary in general just adds a whole lot to the hobby, whether you do a private catalogue, or public, try it! Thanks for stopping by, I suspect we'll see the first signs of flowering next week, I've never grown this Strain, but I can see a few pre flower pistils forming as I'm typing this. Enjoy your week, as always stay safe and keep growing.

FBT2308 is doing great under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2, in the Agrogardens nutrition. She has some huge fan leaves for a small plant. She did get a solution change today as she is starting preflowering stages. So she should start stretching very soon. She recieved some defoliation and lst as well. Everything is looking great at the moment. 🤞🏻she takes the solution change well, and explodes in growth. Thank you Agrogardens, Medic Grow, and Fast Buds. 🤜🏻🤛🏻🌱🌱🌱 Thank you grow diaries community for the 👇likes👇, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel👇. ❄️🌱🍻 Happy Growing 🌱🌱🌱 https://youtube.com/channel/UCAhN7yRzWLpcaRHhMIQ7X4g
