Sorry for the huge delay, I wanted to update this earlier but COVID-19 happened everywhere and many things happened where I live. Nonetheless, I have all the photos and I'll be finishing this diary soon. The smell of both of my babies was quite, quite strong. It even made me feel very dizzy every time I checked them. During the week the leaves from Pistachio started to turn yellow while the ones from Matcha finally started to show signs of the excesses and burn, the mistakes I made earlier started to become more and more apparent so it was only a matter of time. Also, everytime a leaf started to die I removed it as soon as possible... but that might become more evident at the time lapse I uploaded! This was the last week of flower for Pistachio, and I'll leave Matcha a couple more days with some direct light on her (I want her pistils to mature a bit more), but next week is finally the week when I cut them. Trichomes on both plants are ready! 😲 Thanks for reading!

Trotz des schlechten Wetters sind die kleinen Buds etwas größer geworden. Die Pflanzen im Ganzen sind aber nicht gewachsen. Sie bekommen gerade etwas Neemlösung, da die einige der großen Blätter stark angepiekst sind. Die nächste Zeit wird das Wetter ja wieder prima, das gibt hoffentlich nen guten Schub

Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! Here’s the current nutrient mix: • System Clean: 0.5 ml/L • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L • RO Water Conditioner: 0.8 ml/L • All-in-One Liquid: 2.1 ml/L I’m keeping the pH at 6.1 and TDS at 556 ppm, and so far, the plants are thriving. The bud formation across all the genetics is nothing short of incredible. Every plant is thriving, and the canopy is lush, vibrant, and full of potential. I’ve raised the PPFD to 750 for this stage, with temps steady at 25°C and RH at 63%—keeping the VPD dialed in at 1.11. Nutrients completed on majority of the plants some smaller plants will remain being fed until Wednesday before flushing I rearranged the tents ready for drying purposes with 4 plants that were flushing in the dry room. I came gone to find one had collapsed. This is the heaviest plant (I am interested to see what it yields) Because it snapped at the stork I hung it up to dry and will be dry Tuesday 29th this week The rest will be ready after a successful flush. Earlier in my diary I did a test for which coco was the best. I can assure you that coco eco-thrive produced the tallest and most stacked plants Plain coco was the next which produced a medium yield plant of medium height. Last was coco with pebbles. I wanted this to win but believe me it has the worst growth and the least yields for this particular grow. So I would advise buying the eco thrive coco. It is such a good product if you can get your hands on it. It’s a very strong smelling this grow please note this when you start. But to be honest value for money I will definately grow this again. From previous experience, the next week should really fatten these buds. My last two feedings were PH water because I saw some slight tip burn. There is some trics starting to build up now but at this point I know she will not be crippler. When it is time, I plan to really fade her out and off nutrients. There is still new growth at the tops of each cola and I think these will be the biggest ones I have grown so far. She looks healthy and happy so far but is slowwwwwww.

I had to change the light this week. To smaller lights because of some fan leaves was turn at the tips away from the lights

Drei Eiswasser Spülungen und etwas kühlere Nachttemperaturen haben zwar etwas an der FarbeRichtung bläulich geändert, allerdings blieb das erwartete Purple vollständig aus. Die Blüten sind sehr klebrig und der Duft ist deutlich aber nicht besonders intensiv. In der letzten Woche habe ich einige männliche Blüten heraus geknipst und mir sind auch ein paar Samen aufgefallen. Das selbe Problem hatte auch meine Hindu Kush. An Tag 97 habe ich die Pflanze nach 48 Stunden Dunkelheit abgeschnitten und kopfüber aufgehängt.
