This will be the last week of veggie for the girls. I'll be switching them over this weekend to their flowering schedule. I noticed that some of the newer leaves on the top are lighter than the other leaves, they are yellowish. I added some calmag to their diet because I realized I'd never given them any. I'll be monitoring that to make sure it doesn't get worse. Overall... color me HAPPY heheheee 😃

3/25/2023 Week 6- Day 1 of Veg (Day 52 overall) Added my first between changes SILICA Top offs. Was worried that when you add it to pre mixed Nutes that it can make the whole thing turn into a gummy looking substance. I was ready to drain the system and start it over for the week if needed, but no issues adding it to the tank. the Silica going into the Res didn't gummy the system up, it did drop my PH by quit a bit causing me to have to bring it back in balance. 36 Gallons in the Tank Silica Add .5mil/Gal = 18Mil I topped some that needed to be topped, I defoliated some that needs to be defoliated. Since I have moved into Week 6 I have increased the light intensity up to just over 500 maxing it out for Veg Cycle. March 25, 2023 at 1:48 PM -Ever since I started watering them with lower pH water, 6.0 to 6.3, the 2 BOH’s really started to takeoff. I might do some slight defoliation on all the plants. I’ll takeoff their lower nodes to make it easier to bend them from the main stock. The strawberry crinkle has very close internodes and is really bushy with large and thick fingers. It’s too short to try and bend over so I might have to do more of the defoliation job in order for the lower nodes to get more light. March 28, 2023 at 5:24 PM - March 29, 2023 at 2:01 PM -I’ve bent over several stems this week. I have only had one small accident with the strawberry crinkle. The top was snapped off somehow but I don’t remember it happening, but it seems to be taking it well. I watered them the day before with some tea with ph at 6.3. so far I could bend over things every day. They are starting to cover the entire pot. - Today’s the last day of week three.

She is swelling and smelling lol…Fed her the entire Fax Farm Trio after 3 days of plain watering.

It’s the first week of flower!! I’ve been having troubles with knowing where to foliate and direct the growth with these plants. As 2 seem to be growing faster than the other 2! Over all looking good I think.

Was harvested whole. Roots and all. Got a much better pheno this time with the addition of the IR/UV 45 it made for a great impact on the resin. At the moment, she's 6 days drying. Prob 4 more to go. Really happy with how she's drying. Will fully Trim soon before the sugar leafs dry into the bud. She is about half way through process. Will update on weight and true smoke report.. The taste I have had, was really nice. But quick air dried bud, is no where near the taste of properly dried bud in a good environment 16-19c "should be kept at a max of 18. It only goes beyond that for a few hours during the day. She's at a RH between 55-62%.

March 28th: She's still standing. I tried to take some trichome shots, but i'm not sure how well they are. It's my first shot at it, so cut me some slack! I gave about two gallons of water this week. I'm not sure if she's still drinking a lot, or if the pot getting dry faster is due to a few degree increase in temperature. All of the water was straight well water, not pH'ed. Which reminds me: pH of water doesn't matter when using living soil. The pH of the Soil is what matters. pH in hydroponics makes sense because the water is where your plants will pick up nourishment. The medium for hydro IS the water, which means your water needs proper pH. In soil, the pH is due to all the calcium, magnesium, micro and macro nutrients and minerals that are in it. That will create a pH in your soil. Now, you can also get a high pH in your soil due to sodium build-up. This isn't what you're looking for, as sodium build-up in soil is a no-no. Now, for the fun fact: If you have a low pH in your soil because you don't have enough calcium, pH'ing your water isn't going to do anything. You gotta fix the soil problem, which will correct the pH of the soil, and trying to use pH'ed water isn't the solution. You'd have to add more calcium to your soil to fix it. Anyway. Light intensity is still at 100%. As you can see, i've got some floppy branches on this cultivar. I gotta admit, i love when branches start floppin' around. It tells me that the plant is close to harvest! Just gotta wait on those trichomes to get a few more amber, then she'll be ready to chop. She's still only showing fade ever so slightly. The purple hue is nice, but i wish it would become a bit more pronounced. Maybe it will over the next few days. The girls recovered the same day as the topping last week. They have more than doubled in height and gain nodes quickly. Accidentally was giving wrong dose of nutes last week and corrected it this week. These strains are very hardy so far
