Getting close to harvest...

Day 70: Brain Cake seemed thirsty and wanting more nutrients: Topped off water yesterday, added +3ml of hyro A&B and +1ml of power roots & pure enzyme. EC went from 0.8 -> 1.0 Day 71: Brain Cake is showing symptoms, many top leaves have deformed tips and light interveinal chlorosis starting on opposite end of the tip and dark interveinal chlorosis at the end of the tip. EC is 0.8-0.9 (not very accurate meter :/ ) Not sure whether this is a nutrient deficiency or excess/lockout. The ph has been between 5.6 and 6.5 most of the time the past week, the reservoir change was 4-5 days ago. Plagron indicates to give more hydo A&B in proportion to their roots and enzyme nutrients in the first weeks of flowering (during veg these are given in proportion), so maybe these new problems are due to the different balance of nutrients that I may have times wrongly. Finally the problems may be due to the water reservoirs holding approx 12 liters in practice and the Brain Cake drinks approx 2-3.5L a day so maybe the water res is very unstable but after a day the PH usually remains in range and the EC usually drops a bit the first day after adding nutrients and stays pretty stable the rest of the week. Any suggestions are more than welcome! Day 72: Yesterday evening made an upgraded reservoir for the Brain Cake dwc (as we suspect the leaf problems may be due to instable water because of small res and roots nearly completely filling the res). Now the Brain Cake is in a 60L box with approx 32L of water, EC set to 1.0 and ph 5.7-6.5. She seems to be happy, nice and perky this morning. FYI the roots seem more orange in the video! They are on the white side though, just a bit of stain from the nutrients but looking very good overall.

F07 - Good start after 1 week of 12-12 lighting. They're growing so fast! I think i left just enough room for my lights to keep them from burning/stressing the buds but I think I'm going to max out on my vertical room. Fl13 - I think the stretch is finally over and I was right - I pretty much maxed out my vertical room with only have a few inches to spare above my lights. Gave the girls their first low-dose feeding today.

28/3/2020: DAY 24 AND 23 OF GORILLAS. 2LST is giving me some results ! beauty structure and healthy colour in the gorillas (yellow card shows the date of birth and strain) and the LH is starting to strech after 15 days of life ! No watered since 3 days MY CANNAPY (i used only 1 time deeper undergrow and only one 2 time raw water and 1 time delta 9 foliar spray) so the next watering session will be featured by Top Bloom and Delta 9 water solution directly to the ground (no foliar) because of to prepare the ladies to its bloom. LH will get some deeper undergrow because she only get raw water. 04/4/20 : day 30 and 31 on the gorillas super good structure and super fast growth. Lemon haze is on day 22 showing us its sativa structure. Both strains started to show some hairy preflowers at the top of the main cola and arround the satellites too. LH get top bloom + top veg ; GG get top bloom + top candy. depending on the evolution of the plants, I will use my PK 52-34 in super low dosis because of I want the ladies get used to it so I can increase the dosis little by little ! Had a malfunction with the PPM meter last week and ended up burning some of them but not real bad. Backing off the nutrients this week and only adding Cal mag. Two of them are filling out very nicely the other ones seem a little airy. Hopefully that will start to change this week. Still don't know what I'm going to do with a little midget she has hairs but really is not forming buds?

Hello everyone 😇 😇 😇 Finally, the last week and the harvest time come. On Day 105 and Day 107 I flush her with tap water treated with Ecothrive Neutralise. I was planning a harvest on Friday but accidentally initiated it on Thursday, how ?? I wanted to remove the fan leaves, when I began to pull off the wires supporting the branches, the branches began to break... So I came to an unplanned harvest the day before I planned to do it. 🙌 !! BUT !! 🙌 This one day does not really make a difference, so the fact of the branches start breaking under the weight of the buds made me pretty happy 🙏 🙏 🙏 Thanks to everyone for the comments, likes and interest. I can never talk bad on auto flowers. I did not pay much attention to these girls and it shows but the genetics from FASTBUDS were so good that the quality of the buds was still A1. I bought more FASTBUDS seeds and will grow them in my new setup and hopefully I can maximize the yields this time around.

Heavy defoliation this week of fan leaves and flowering sites. I wanted to let her grow naturally to see her potential, but due to size and room in the tent I had to strip her. I removed any flowering sites that were farther than 30 inches from the light. I thought she would be stunted this week but she still grew 7 inches. Damn fastbuds. Til next week!
