Week 3 (April 12-18th) At this point I was using water and a small amount of coffee grounds. Spent a lot of time talking and singing to the plant. The leaves got bigger and formed quickly this week. If you look at the different days you can clearly see how big the plant was getting.

So have her 5l on Sunday , it’s Wednesday and she’s near dry , so did some light defoliation today and topped up reservoir through drip + fed her some organics with it

Ehi ragazzi è già passata una settimana e neanche me ne sono reso conto! Si vede che l erba che sto fumando è bella potente per farmi rimanere in uno spazio/tempo non ben definito! Apparte questo divagamento, posso dire che i nutrienti stanno facendo effetto! La ragazza sembra che stia crescendo davvero bene , ogni settimana raddoppia le dimensioni circa , ora siamo già al quarto paio di foglie laterali e ho intenzione probabilmente in settimana di mettere la rete per iniziare a direzionare le piante,in modo da avere più cime possibilmente uniformi, ma soprattutto, avendo il problema dell altezza, cercherò di fare in modo che rimangano più basse possibile , dovrò studiare un metodo per farlo senza stressarle troppo e senza utilizzare tagli e toppature che in un autofiorente,necessiterebbero di troppo tempo per recuperare dal taglio e quindi la resa sarebbe minore,... Bene siamo solo all inizio e non vedo l ora di vedere come cresceranno queste ragazze magiche ! La luce FC E 300l è davvero impressionante! La sto usando al 50 % della potenza e devo dire che stanno crescendo in modo molto rigoglioso tutte le ragazze in modo uniforme anche ai lati, la luce è molto ben distribuita rispetto alla TS 1000 che avevo in precedenza , che nonostante tutto ha fatto il suo dovere e lo continuerà a fare in modo più che egregio! Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. I plan on using a quadline for them all to keep a control for the comparisons too. Be green folks Welcome aboard and a huge thank you to Fast Buds for the opportunity to try autos.

Nothing new. The feeding schedule stayed the same just riding through the weeks now. Started to defoliate gently.

Had a good week overall. I decided to cut back on watering a bit to allow some stress to set in and allow these babies to grow a bit mo. Hopefully loosening up the soil will help a bit with the slow root growth. Wish me luck!

Great week with incredible growth. Responded very well to the topping and LST, just like their mother. Will continue with LST and some light HST until I'm satisfied with canopy coverage. Updates as the week goes. -8/18 - Further LST and some HST was used to try and spread the plants horizontally even more. -8/20 - Watering today, then a bit of HST. Growth is going well.

just finished the stretching phase, now is time to flowering

Today is the 1st day of 2nd week of flowering. I've put the net on them on 20.01. Started the autopots on 18th. They are well rooted. The aptus startbooster is really potent, roots are poking out of the medium with beautiful micro hair. Never had it before. The stems are crazy thick, also I think thanks to regulator. On 22.01 Ive started the air pump supplying airdomes. I have the lowest EC ever on aptus. Right now around 1.0. But still get a tiny little bit of tip burn one a few plants. Let's see how it goes.

5/5/2024 Pistils pistils pistils 5/8 these plants are fucking exploding! Super exciting to see them like this. Pistils everywhere and they’re just STACKING! don’t even see budlets yet, just pistils. The structure of these plants is beautiful. They handle training fairly well. I topped one and super cropped it and did a bit of lst. I was feeling impatient so I decided to see what happened if I pushed the one a little harder and left the other to grow naturally.
