07/26/2020 Vegging,and bending! They are growing well but she can't seem to, clear up the powdery mildew.

There isn’t a ton to report this week other than the two behind my garage are on their stretch, and the one in the garden is bulking up. It has been raining a lot here, I gave all two big dosages of cal/mag and tiger bloom. I figured most of the nutrients were washing through the soil. I haven’t noticed any nute burns, so I’ll likely keep feeding them once a week. I did some bud backbuilding on my garden plant about a week ago, because the other two didn’t look as developed, i snipped the tip of the buds on the other two about two days ago. I think overall I should have a pretty good yield this summer, I wish I had a bit more purple buds, but hey🤷‍♂️ Purple kush none the less. I’m signing out for the week, thanks for tuning in. Cheers.

Week 8 and growth continues to be muted. Due to the poor soil, I'm only slightly scratching the strain's potential. I've attached a video of the insects that were in the soil, along with the fungus gnats. The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil to be spread evenly on top of the soil. Day 1 we had high temperature of 87°F with partly cloudy to cloudy skies. I watered 3-4 gallons from the hose. I added 100 ml of blood meal spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 2 We had a high temperature of 85°F. It rained the previous night and intermittently raining and thunderstorms today. I did get these trained a little this morning. It's not finished, but I took some foliage off and opened them up by tying the branches to stakes arranged on the outside of the pots. I finished topping off these pots with soil that is premixed with nutrients. The rain is watering today. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 73°F and all day rain. The rain was what remained of hurricane Beryl. There was a lot of wind up to 20 miles per hour. These girls handled it and loved the rain. Day 4 we had clear sunny skies and a high temperature of 85°F. I fed 150 ml feather meal , 30 ml Plant Tone, and 50 ml Coop Poop. I watered 3-5 gallons from the water hose. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 86°F and partly cloudy skies. Plants #2and #3 developed powdery mildew on their lower leaves. I'm going to treat for the next 5 days with Arber organic biofungicide. I ran the fertilizer a little hot the girls are clawing and super dark green this evening Day 6 we had a high temperature of 85 with partly cloudy skies. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 86°F. This morning we had plenty of rain and wind. No need for watering. The skies were mostly cloudy to partly cloudy in the evening. This week was a success. We had lots of rain, cool nights and humidity. This caused the #2 and #3 plant to develop powdery mildew. This is the challenge here on the Ozark Plateau. We are strictly organic. We use no systemic fungicides and the only pesticide we use is occasionally is organic pyrethrin spray. That said, now that we've identified the plants that don't have immunity, we'll treat with Arber bio fungicide. This treatment will last 5 days then they have to make it with what they were born with. Also the nutrients ran a little hot on them. That and the several hours of rain depriving them of iron has their centers looking rough. They'll be better next week.

Another week in the books, one maybe 2 more to go, if the weather holds and humidity doesn't go crazy. Since grow diaries doesn't support more than 32 weeks, it's a bit of a pain to track the rest of this grow. Still I will post updates.

Day 57-63 Week 9 Halfway through last week, I noticed a issue with a wilting, deep water culture bucket. I realized there was a possibility I created an imbalanced solution for my plant that shuts them out, even though it was in the correct p.H range I probably encouraged mold or stagnant root growth. They are all picking up.Don't look stressed.They look happy and pointing towards the light.

Day 121 (Day 1st Week 19) and the lady's buds are very clearly packing on weight. She is ready ready for a PK boost again! But if I really have to tell my opinion, I think she doesn't need more P, she's growing very well. On the other hand, a boost won't hurt. It's a pity the high temperatures of summer, she may be really suffering the heat inside the grow room. Luckily prosilicate may help her (as it seems to be) helping on this heat issue. Of course everyday I inspect buds to put those approaching the lights farther. Led lights are too bright and may bleach the precious buds so proximity to lights is the real problem of this current grow. Day 124 (24/01/2020) Helaas i found an incipient spider mites infestation, this f*cking plague always makes its way into my grow. Because of spider mites I sotpped growing outside. Really, I do hat these nasty animals and I would eradicate forever if it was in my power. I found a few leaves with inequivocal symptoms of spider mite bites, and in the back of the leaves I saw eggs, nymphs and adult forms. I started treatment with neem oil 5 mL/L applied as soil drench. I'll repeat in 5 days. on the other hand it's fortunate that I have seen them and so I can start treatment soon before they take over the entire plant. 1/5 day for PK boost: 0.5 mL/L Prosilicate + 1mL/L CalMax + 0.6 g/L Bloom fertilizer + 0.2g/L Boost (inflow 530 ppm) pH 5.85 (run off 450 ppm) Day 125 High temperatures again, with the open tent temp is 29.4 ºC inside... Day 2/5 for PK Boost Day 126 (26 01 2020) PK Boost day 3/5 inflow 550 ppm, run off 530 pmm Day 127 (27/01/2020) PK boost dat 4/5, luckily it was a cooler day today , i kept the tento closed, and temperatures did not exceed 29 ºC which I consider "normal" for the summer (but I would like lower temps though)

Woche 3 - Tägliches Gießen und weitere Düngerzugabe In der dritten Woche wurde die Wassermenge weiter angepasst, um dem kontinuierlichen Wachstum der Pflanzen gerecht zu werden. Ab dieser Woche wurde jeden Tag gegossen, wobei die Menge bis Ende der Woche auf 0,45 Liter pro Tag erhöht wurde. Es ist nach wie vor nur ein Ventilator im Einsatz, um die Luftzirkulation zu gewährleisten. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit wurde weiterhin durch Tücher und Teller reguliert, indem täglich 500 ml Wasser verwendet wurden. Am 27.04.2024 wurde die zweite Düngerladung verabreicht, diesmal mit einem Verhältnis von 30 ml Canna Terra auf 10 Liter Wasser. Das Wasser hatte einen EC-Wert von 1,28 und einen pH-Wert von 5,9. Die Pflanzen zeigten keine Anzeichen von Nährstoffmangel oder -überschuss. Am Ende der dritten Woche hatten die Pflanzen bereits fünf Noden entwickelt und wuchsen mittlerweile täglich um knapp 1 cm. Die Pflanzen sahen weiterhin sehr gesund aus und waren auf einem guten Weg, kräftig zu gedeihen. ENGLISH Week 3 - Daily Watering and Continued Nutrient Feeding In the third week, I further adjusted the water amount to support the plants' consistent growth. From this week, the plants were watered daily, with the amount increased to 0.45 liters per day by the end of the week. There was still only one fan in use to provide air circulation, and humidity continued to be regulated manually using towels and plates, with 500 ml of water daily. On April 27th, 2024, the second dose of nutrients was applied, with a ratio of 30 ml Canna Terra per 10 liters of water. The water had an EC of 1.28 and a pH of 5.9. The plants showed no signs of nutrient deficiency or excess. By the end of the third week, the plants had developed five nodes and were growing about 1 cm per day. They remained very healthy and were thriving.
