Our Runtz ladies are thriving, pushing forward in their vegetative stage with strength, beauty, and some seriously impressive root development. This week, we officially transplanted them into the Autopots, and let me tell you—the roots are stunning. Root Health & Mycorrhizal Magic The mycorrhizal fungi have been doing their thing, and it's truly a sight to see. When transplanting, I could clearly see how beautifully the roots had colonized the medium, forming a healthy, snow-white network that fully surrounded the pot. She will now stay in the vegi for a few more days before she comes to the flower tent :-). During the last watering, I started with Fast Plant. I am happy to finally be able to put it in bloom again. This week it was poured 3 times with 1.2 l each (sewing materials, see table above). The tent was cleaned and all plants checked for health 👍. Fresh osmosis water was prepared and filled into canisters for the next 2 weeks. Otherwise they were admired several times a day 😂. With the next update we will see each other in bloom again :-). Had my run-in with powdery mildew midway through flower. But bud-washing was my savior! Completely killed all the pm and left me with a still incredibly strong end result. Its seriously some of the smoothest stuff I've grown to date, when smoked in a pipe.. I will be taking away 2 stars from the review because of the susceptibility to pm, however. This grow was a success as far as the autos go, overall... The photoperiod gal still has a few more days. Either way, I highly recommend this strain. Don't make my mistakes, make sure you keep your tent clean the whole grow through, ALONG with the air quality(just as important as the tent itself). That's where I honestly failed. After reading how spore transference works, I felt like such a knucklehead keeping my tent in a... 'homely' condition. Either way, lessons were had and I'm not one to make the same mistake twice! I topped autos! 😳😳🤯🤯 I figured they were doing so well and hadn't entered flower yet; let's do our best to keep them small and get multiple good buds instead of just one. First off Thanks to @SuperSativaSeedClub Johnny, for my competition winning seeds, this is one of them 🏆 💚 Along with others I will be starting next week. Strain: California Orange from Dutch Passion. Description: Californian Orange has a citrus-dominant aroma with notes of orange, mandarin, lemon and earth Californian Orange, the name says it all, California oranges. This cannabis strain has a lot of citrus terpenes and the proportion of myrcene and limonene in this strain is high compared to other strains. And with that, let's get into it 🚀 🌱 💚 Day 1: 27/09 Saturday I have made a 2L dechlorinated tap water mix which contains 1ml of Piranha and 1ml of Voodoo Juice. (This will be used all week) 100ml into a cup and allow the seed to soak for 24-36 hrs. And left inside the boiler cupboard , dark and warm. I'll check tomorrow ✅ (With 300ml I have watered in the plastic pots to ensure there not too wet in a few days for my seed. Day 2: 28/09 Sunday The seed has sank after just 12 hrs, so after 16 hrs, I poured it all into a paper towel. Squeezed excess water from the paper towel. Placed into a zip-loc bag for 24-36hrs, until the tap root emerges. I have now pre soaked the root-riot plugs (with 150ml of previous water mix) and squeezed gently any excess water - these are now placed in the 1L plastic pots, awaiting the newly germinated seed. Day 4 30/09 worried the seeds are too moist as tap roots have popped but curling back. I have popped them into the rootriot cubes now and inserted that into my 1L tub with Dynomyco in the hole. Sprayed -with the water mix from start of week ph6.41, the domes (jugs) and placed under 24hr light CFL 125w for the rest of germination week and possibly week 1 veg we'll see. Day 5 01/10 Wednesday First spray for soil and seed. Using the dechlorinated tap water and piranha and voodoo from the mix at start of week. pH 6.41. Also added heat mat under the tents water proof layer to ensure the seedling are kept warm. Day 6 02/10 Thursday Last use of this spray now , Final spray in domes, noticed seed casings have now fell. Day 7 03/10 Friday Dechlorinated tap water 1L mix with 2ml voodoo and 2 ml piranha. 300ml each. PH 6.36 End of week. Proud too say she has successfully passed germination week and now onto her veg journey that I'm aiming for 10-12week veg for.

Week 5 since repot Seemed to have perked back up. After running some ec reading it's coming out of my run off at 1.7 Which is on the danger side or so I'm told. So I have cut back on the nutes and only giving it 5ml or grow per 5 litre. Hoping the ec in the run of changes this week. Was hoping to flip to flower at the start of week 7. Never done a short veg while running seeds and interested to see the out come.

So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

Stackn n gettn stinky. Every strain has sum kinda fruity note. The gorilla blue has the most distinct blueberry smell that Ive come across so far. The D has a fruity/floral thing goin on. The wedding cake is given me a fruit cocktail smell and so on amd so on. Started to see fungas gnats. Got cocky from last run amd didnt get nematodes, so mosquito dunks it is. Think im gonna top dress with some of the leftover dirt still in the tote this week and being done with it. Water n recharge til its done.
