Update week 3 veg

Girls are thirsty still! Been having to feed/water every third day! It’s been so hot and humid, the humidity was in check but the temps hovered around 82-84 degrees in the tent this week. Gave them a light feed, with emphasis on the micro and big bud, along with two straight ph’d waterings. Tricomes are mostly cloudy with a few amber, and some clear still hanging in there. Another week for sure, maybe two or close to it. It’s a 7-8 week flowering strain, but after 16 weeks of growing, I don’t want to rush to the finish. This coming feed will be their last with nutrients and then PH’d water till harvest. I don’t flush, I just “rinse” and allow the plant to take the remaining nutrients for about 4 feeds. This seems to have worked out the best for me, flavour and smoke wise… stay tuned, here comes the good part 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

I will say that the game is not worth the candle with one plant, it's a waste of time to use nutrients. We'll see how it tastes...

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. 23cm vertical growth this week. Over doubled her height and got a lot more bushy too. I think she's going to be a fab plant!

I'm back for another update this week! It hasn't been a very busy week this week, the veg area is vegging and the flower area is on its last week before harvest. I've been taking very small cuttings (about .1 gram) and scoping the trikes using a 45x desktop microscope. Ethos: Lilac Diesel #22 (x) Grandpa's Cookies #7- This seedling is still doing well and branching out keeping a "v" shaped branch formation, thinner long leaves and decently far spaced nodes. It is still the tallest plant in the whole garden now standing at 19 inches tall. It's top four branches are beginning to develop smaller branches from them. HSO/ Giest Grow: Tow Truck- Unfortunately the Tow Truck showed signs of being a male. Last week I had assumed it was a male. But this week I was able to call it for certain. I don't have the space to keep any males, so I went ahead and cut it down. This diary will now be for the Ethos Seedling! It is feminized so it will surely go to the flower room with the Raspberry Ripple plants it shares a tent with. Raspberry Ripple Clones (#1 and #2)- These veg clones are still spreading out with branching decently. The #2 Phenos hit 12 inches in height and received their topping. So now all plants in the clone tent have been topped once. Flower Tent (Raspberry Ripple #1 and #2)- It is currently day 67 Flower, Under the HLG Blackbird. I went ahead and dimmed it down one level. I let my buddy use my PAR meter for a few days. But I'd assume it's probably about 450-700 PPFD on most top sites. I've assessed the trichomes today and last week. Most are getting cloudy but I'm gonna wait just a few more days, to push into some amber coverage. A lot of the #2 pheno top sites are now leaning over and being fully supported by the trellis. The little branches just couldn't support the massive flowers it grew. One of the #2 plants is still holding strong and standing tall. But 2/3 are pretty much fully supported by the trellis. The number one phenos are once again super thick stalked, with thick branches. One of the #1 plants, looks like it completely bottomed out this week. Most of its leaves are completely faded. The other plant of the #1 Phenos is much more bright and vibrant. There are still some straggling white pistil hairs left on the #1s but they are still changing color by the day. When i arrived i saw that lady twos cage had fell right over her... So some lower branches broke in half.. i tryed to fix it but whatever.. and i took away all the yellow leaves. Also added some organic biobizz nutrience. They r looking good flowering! Weak smell but smells wonderfull. Any tips or advices feel free to comment! Cheers homies!!

12/30/23 - Day 54 - Hello All! I started this week a day early. I wanted to update everyone on something I have been thinking about a lot. Curing. I feel if there was a hole in my growing skills it would be curing. Last grow there was more than I had anticipated. I was not set up for curing 1 lb. I threw in an audible at the last minute. It worked out but I know I can improve with some trial and error and hands-on experience. So after reading a ton, and going off of some of my prior builds for drying, I came up with this design. I have a controller that will turn the air on and will run when the contents inside the box hit whatever RH% I want to set it at. I think the first week I will set it for 78%RH, then every couple of days go down a % until I hit 62%. The thought is that if the bucket gets above the set RH% then the air will kick on and distribute air across the buds until the RH% is back down to where you want it. It will force the humidity out. I won't need to worry about burping. It will happen on its own.... in theory. Ill update tomorrow with some pictures after the water change. 12/31/23 - Day 55 - Everything is looking good. The water change completed this morning while I was in the shower. Its adding nutes now and will do so over the next hour or so. She is starting to get stinky. I had to add the extra carbon filter to the room. I've got some pics up top of that. Happy New Year! Next time I post it will be in 2024! Have a great night and be safe! I got a comment on the bushy-ness and I got self-conscious and gave her a trim. Lol I have been going bath and forth for a while and that gave me the push to give her a little trim. She looks great and is growing really quickly. Ill update with more pics as it goes along.

Week 5 of vegging has come to an end. The girls are drinking daily and the new tops are developing nicely. I've been stressing the tops a bit, bending them down to let light hit the next set of nodes. The light is now at 24" and at 60 %. I'll be adjusting the intensity and height to keep dli relative. I've also been gradually decreasing light time over the course of 6 days and are currently at 14 hours. The next week will be transition to flower, giving me approximately 9 weeks to finish. Stay tuned.

This is a very interesting week! After mainlining, I transplanted the lady into a 3L AirPot, adding 3 spoons of Mykos by Xtreme Gardening, 45g of BioMagno Algae and 5g of BioMagno Neem Flour. I uploaded a time-lapse video that shows the process. Then I fed her with the nutes you see above this comment, in 1L of water (actually, 750ml would be better). I hope you liked this week content! Day 28 (May 7, 2019): 0.5L of tap water with Activator @ 0.5ml/L and Rizostimo @ 1ml/L.

Harvested at day 116, had some problems of high inflow pH at week 11 that has a little decreased the final harvest, in my opinion. But I'm proud of my job cause that was the ONLY little problem in the entire grow. Keep Growing and learning everyday 🙏🏻💚🤞🏼🕉️
