Day 95 Harvest

-Esta semana simplemente las he regado un par de veces con un litro y medio cada una. -A una de las GG ya estoy haciéndole el flush final -Empiezan a enfermarse las hojas. Puede ser falta de calcio, potasio, magnesio...no lo se. Les he echado uns buena dosis de potasio y las que están más afectadas les he echado sgua limpia y un poco de potasio. -una de las GG le falta poco para cortar. El resto les quedará poco menos de un mes

Last weeks for this fantastic buds

Great week. Really starting to take off in growth. Onto full strength nutrients and going full power on the lights now :p Going to start my LST soon possibly this week or early next week. Will add more pictures and edit as the week goes :)

Never quite made it in time for the competition, but ah well guess she’ll just have to be judged on how she looks now. Smells absolutely amazing a really sweet candy smelling srtain. A week or two left to go I think, looking foward to the harvest.

Shes doing well, growing big and healthy. Buds are smelling strong and stacking up nicely. Purple looks beaut'. Cant wait to see the end product of this one. Stay tuned.

Caminhando para os dias desta jornada, agora levanso somente com água.. Tive algumas dificuldades com a HR no grow devido a alta umidade em minha região que chega a 100%.. Vários dias a HR ficou entre 80 a 90% e infelizmrnte o aparelho desumidificador foi insuficiente para manter o nível ideal para o cultivo, devido a esse fator tive problemas com mofo nos em alguns poucos buds, por sorte não se espalhou para todos os buds e todas as plantas, foram apenas algumas flores que apresentaram os sintomas e logo cortei por prevenção...

Back with a new week, the beginning of week 6 and wow, the girls are really starting to show off their fall colours and frosty colourful buds. EC has been slightly lowered and I have dropped cal-mag to ensure a good flush later on in the grow. PK has been increased and the girls are fattening up. pH has been drifting so trying to keep a close eye on this to enable the correct uptake of essential nutrients at this critical stage. it actually behaved exactly as indicated by the breeder. a bit of a shame that it was so humid in germany and it got mouldy. but otherwise it was very resistant. a beautiful and easy to grow plant. a classic

Buds looking like buds now. Should just be fattening up for a few weeks now. Smells very nice (hard to tell which one is stinking) adding calmag to see if it helps with the leaves dying off. All looking good! Day 59 added video of trichomes from multiple tops. Quite a few amber already hoping a couple weeks and it'll be down.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. She is so freaking happy and happy mathematic is crazy

It's been a pretty good week. Carl 2 stretched out like a motherfucker, nearly a four inch stretch as of today. The accidental topping due to blunt trauma a while ago seems to have stopped the stunted growth and allowed it to really shoot upwards and outwards. The split on UKBS 2 is still necrotic, and the effects seem to be travelling down the stem. I have a fan on it for airflow and I'm hitting it twice daily with a vinegar solution to try and kill off what seems to be white mold in the stem. As of recently the spread has slowed down somewhat, so I'm feeling hopeful. Next feeding it'll get hit with another round of nature's candy and velokelp to try and build some strength back up and come out a real winner in 3 months or so. The tent has been flipped to 12/12, but the outdoor plants wont be flowering for another 3 months-ish minimum, so this diary's gonna get a little interesting in terms of week type. Carl 1 is incredibly stretchy inside the tent, almost 6 maybe 8 inches from when I flipped and Scrogged. Gave Carl 1 a fat haircut a couple days ago, she reacted quite well. Updates will come throughout the week. Happy growing and thanks for checking out the grow. By 5/11/2021 - I've acquired some peroxide to try and assist UKBS 2 with the mold/pathogen issue. The previous night's application seemed to work, and I applied again today. Hopefully she'll pull through. One of the main stems is drooping massively, I may lose it but hopefully not.
