Week 16 Happy Easter week. 4/9-15/23 Flushing, nights in the dark with cold feet. This is week 2 of flushing before the harvest. Sunday I flushed each plant with 1 1/2 gal of filtered water after layering ice the top of the pots. After flushing they were just put in the room not in the tent. I had an ocsellating fan moving on a medium speed. Moved to the garage for the night. Tuesday flushed each plant with 1 1/2 gal of filtered water after layering ice the top of the pots. Harvest is moved to this weekend rather than next Tuesday as planned. Wednesday all three plants were put in the dark room put ice on top of the pot. No further flushing will be done. Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Lights remained off Temp 73. Rh 71% when I opened the dark room. The dark room has black out curtains, however there is l8ght exposure around the edge of the curtain. Saturday afternoon photos taken pre cut, tricomes photographed as best I could. Additional hands are Required as I must take 50 pictures only to get 5 acceptable ones. Cut from the base of her stem , weighed and hung in the tent in the dark with a small fan . The drying has begun. Wet harvest weight 253 grams 8.9oz. April 15-19 Hanging in dark room with temperatures ranging from 73-77f Rh 49-74. April 20 - 22 Hanging in dark room with temperatures ranging from 71-77f Rh 50-80. The higher humidity is a result of turning the home a/c off during the night. Since its drying time and not much to say. I decided to locate photos of the same plant at day 20 of flower when I did the last heavy defoliation and side by side comparison to the day of harvest. I don't know if this is a normal harvest or small yield for OG Kush. See last pic in week 16. She will be drying for 2 weeks or so. I have been checking the stem stiffness or bendiness since the humidity fluctuates. It does not snap yet.

Week 5 of flower

Heeeere we go! Sorry for the late update! This is when I start the flush! I believe the plants are pretty much ready at this point and doing this will just improve the final product! Doing this took me a good chunk of time, mostly because I didn't know exactly how much of water I was going to need (it was a loooot 😫) and how hard/tiring it was to pH it as well. In the end my calculations were off, as I needed far more water than what I had (lol) so I didn't manage to do a full flush... but I still managed to lower the amount of salts and residues to a "decent" level (around 850 to 1500 ppm). I also used flawless finish so I suppose than even when I didn't use enough water that solution alone was enough to help! Besides that the rest of the week was quite calm and relaxing. I cant believe how FAT Mimosa got. Looks like it's on a McDonald's only diet...big, juicy and shiny this one is. The fade is on half way alredy and despite i cuted a couple of branches on the Apple&Bazookiez, I've decidid to let it go another week. Colours on this one are stunning. Red and purple buds and fades all over. Despite the slim rock hard nuggets i believe the thc and terpenes are going to make up for the lack of weight. They have been on straight ph water for the last 2 weeks and thats how they going to be for the last 1 and 2 weeks respectively. See you on next Sunday. Good grows🌲

The plant was finally Ready to harvest. Buds were more on the leafy side, but no foxtailing, so wet trimming was pretty easy… It will dry now for a week and then cure… I will come back with final results… :))

+20cm vertical height change this week. Flowering stretch slowing down. That's bad news for me after her first 3 weeks being very slow growing. I missed the window for good veg growth by (I think...) low temps in the tent. As a very small plant cold roots stunts growth. Being an auto you cannot extend the veg period so I'm stuck with her being a very small plant. Nutrients as above added to 10L water along with 5g of 20-20-20 powdered fertiliser. Still... if we're always learning nothing is lost. Just data in the memory bank.

Just keep watering as it drys. Supporting buds along the way that are getting too heavy. Smells like skunk and gas. Little fruit but not much. Trics still getting thick. Look forward to it finishing. Tricomes still cloudy. Little amber on sugar leaves but it's still going strong. Some leave fading finally to fall colors.

Good germination left me with a strong seedling! Will start adding Xtra Roots after the first pair of true leaves develop. on the plant. I am very satisfied for now! 😀

We just finished week 8 and things are looking great. The plant that was a little late flowering (plant in the back left corner) has stretched up and is now at the top of the canopy. I've noticed these plants are a little bit sensitive to nutrients and don't like being over fed. They have been a very low maintenance group of plants so far though. They stretched out nicely allowing plenty of airflow and light penetration so I haven't had to do very much leaf tucking or plant training, which is exactly what I wanted for this grow!

Final top dress and microbial tea this week

Hi everyone! So nothing really of note to report this week, she is definitely getting closer to harvest as she is uptaking significantly less nutrients now than she did a week or two ago so I have had to go down on nutrients and will probably have to lower it even more as it is still raising daily. She is also getting a bit fatter and denser but I'm really hoping to see some improvement here over the last weeks🙏 I have again been pretty busy outside the grow tent this week building and setting up an outdoor gardening area at our house for my girlfriend to grow her vegetables, fruits, and flowers so I have had less time to be in there and have forgotten to take pictures some of the days. But it has been lucky that I haven't really had any problems to attend to in the tent so all I have had to do is the daily PH and EC measurements and then change the water every other day. Happy growing to everyone and thank you for the comments and encouragement! really appreciate the community in here and it's been a real help in my first grow!

All good apart from the summer heat, but nothing I can do about that, plus in seedling stage the young ladies can handle it really well so no issues! 👍🏾🌱💚

WEEK 2 DAY 14 Since last week the babies have taken off! They didn’t have much light until yesterday when I added another 100w led and since then I’ve seen a huge difference ! They are looking super healthy the roots said fuck the pot and grew right through it I’m actually super interested in seeing how these grow up.. The 3 clones that were separate last week are now moved into one single pot to further develop the experiment. They are on the same feed as the mother with flora grow/micro/bloom and cal-mag . And In the last picture you can see my ghettos man way of cloning .. going to see which 2 out of 4 are better rooted and I will move those to a pot in about a week or so. The room smells like sweet citrus. This grow was pretty easy but I was expecting a higher yield. Overall she was a good plant! Now time to fire up the curing chamber.
