Coming along nicely this week, hoping to see them explode in the next 2-3weeks. All are very healthy and have responded just how I like to LST. Purpinator is bringing out the smells in there definately and they are all smelling good in their own way. I recommend all the products I have used in this diary highly as they haven't failed me in the past(yield and quality). The only new product I am using is green planet purpinator, so I will let you know if I recommend this too when all is finished. I'll upload daily or every couple of days. To clarify I have 6x 55litre buckets with 3 plants of the same strain in each. I have used coco substrate and grown all of them from seed(courtesy of barney's farm) Thanks for looking.

End of week 5 flower and the flowers are shaping up nicely.

This week we should really see these colas blow up and start stacking really strong. The mixer of 7 hours of sun and 17 hours under my LEDs has really helped my girls grow strong. Nothing compares to good old Mother Nature.

Girls had a great week at summer camp! Smiles are found everywhere regarding their new homes. Plenty of room to grow and wiggle their toes in the amended formula 707, which is doing what was expected retaining moisture nicely, bringing the watering to a minimum. All three girls received merit badges for hiking(survived transplanting), water sports(2 liters), light tolerance(supplemental lighting), physical fitness(color and strength)and kite flying(added a fan). They are all looking forward to this weeks activities. Girls seem to like what they’re getting at the chow hall, green and growing daily, strong and upright. Plenty of good stuff in the soil. A fan was added and the benefits are three fold, dry out the top layer of soil, pest control, makes them stronger. I will update as needed. ***update, the girls are looking good this morning, well rested, well nourished, vibrant. Their roots must be really liking the 707 as evident by the rapid growth. Measured them this morning with the H. W. At8 in. the V. F. at 8.5 and the 91 Grapes at 10 in. And at least an inch wider as well. No water will be needed today. Note. The greenhouse may be better suited for growing mushrooms than cannabis. Pine trees and shade. No direct sunlight until after 2pm. Dappled sun all morning long, so installed a T-5 4 foot ArgroLed 6550(k) daylight led fixture above the girls. That was a bright idea!

This week made a few oopsies . I gave un-ph’d water to one of the plants “moving to fast” . Started defoliation during this week to attempt to redirect plant energy into establishing a full canopy since flowering has initiated. Whilst defoliating I broke a branch that had to be taped to save it. Humidity went out of whack when I stored 4 prepped 5 gal pots for transplant in the tent sooo I’ve got to buy a dehumidifier bc at one point all my plants fell out in a fit . STILL haven’t filled these pots out, & I’m kinda sure/unsure it’s time to re-amend the soil for flowering. I’m conflicting on waiting until beginning/middle of week 7 so I can flush week 11 & 12 . I think that covers it pretty well Week 5 in the 📚 📕 📖.

April 16th - Day 59 : Today is Spa day. Did a major defiliation throughout the whole tent. They're pretty much on autopilot from now on.. April 19th - Day 62 : Look at theses beauties. Reacting well to the heavy defoliation. The smell is getting a bit stronger. Didn't do much but water.

So the final day has come. Day 115. Wow she took 4 months! I struggled a little bit with cutting her, I had to do it with a handsaw. She is a chunky girl! I partially trimmed the plant, mostly removing any fan leaf left and any big leaf without trichomes on them. I consider this more of a pre-cleaning and not a real trimming. That will be done after the plant has dried in about 2 weeks It was quite nice to document my grow. This was my 3rd one ever. I will continue with the grows and journaling because it really makes things sound clearer in my head.

Now we've reached day 25. We are in the transition phase, pre-flowering if you want, when the seedlings reveal their sex by showing the white fluff or the boyish balls. Here and in all F1 Hybrids you can be SURE, SURE as death that you will never see any balls. If you have underestimated this aspect of the F1 Hybrid, go back and think about how many times you found the balls on the paint, full of pollen that fertilized your ladies. Do you like having young ladies impregnate you? Absolutely not for me and this is a very valid reason why you can choose the F1 Hybrid. Really guys the seeds suck and the genetics of the various breeders if they don't do a job like this it means that they are super hybrid poles with genetic traces scattered here and there. Inglourious bastards. Here we don't want to be Aryan but to cultivate healthy plants with safe results. Let's be clear, this is minor and is due to the fact that these genetics are so good that they need very little or no fertilizer in the vegetative phase. I gave the recommended doses even a little less to tell the truth of both Aptus and Plagron and the plants more or less all have these small signs of over. LITTLE guys, wait until the end to save if you feel like it, or at least I recommend it. To fix this little thing we go to flush with pH 6.2 and only give Aptus Regulator which should rebalance the plant and soil before delicately moving on to fertilizers for flowering. Update: what a week full of activity and positive growth. The Amnesia is a big beast of a lady now. She is nearly 2.5ft across her canopy and growing. I have had a shuffle round in the grow space and she is now under the sp250 with her soil friends. The supercropped knuckles are nice and chunky to support the spiked colas I plan on her having. She has flattened out nicely too. I expect her to get even wider by the flip time and with so many growing tips she should be a good producer. Sweet Afghani Delicious has thankfully now started her real recovery from the root rot after a week in new feed. She has some good potential for a decent finish by the way shebhas bounced back over the last 2 days with new growth and now starting to fill up wirh chlorophyll again. Red Hot Cookie is also on the road to recovery with way more colour and actual vertical growth starting too. Her 5th node looked done for so i left it to fall off if it wanted and concentrated on the 4th nodes but she had other ideas and has now began growing the 5th again. Overall inam happy to see a recovery in them as i thought I was going to lose the nft girls from all the damage. Now at 100% power on the sp3000 with an rh of 67% and room temps at approx 24.5°c. With another weeks growth I am hoping to be close to flipping them all as the Amnesia is in danger of total room domination!!. Be safe and well. GGD
