Week 9 - both gorilla ladies growing healthy and getting fat 9L Pot the bud is getting fat and frosty 12 Pot buds are now stretching and getting some frost

6/29 we had 3 super hot days in a row. 112, 115, and then 118 degrees. This is the only plant that didnt end up with heat damage/burns from the extreme temperatures. Top dressed with a cup of one shot. 7/3 watered with slf-100 and recharge

Getting over being locked out due to timer and dripper issues ramping the EC up to 3.8 ! , the size will suffer a bit but hopefully the quality will still be there 🤞

Flowers are developing nicely but slowly. Very few feeder leaves are turning yellow yet. I saw some webs between one of her branches and Lemon Cake. So I sprayed them with alcohol and burned some leaves. She and L. Cake have the same dense bushy structur. The buds are tight to the stems which traps humidity and moisture. Inviting pests and fungus.

today was the day 🙏 time was running out and i have to harvest "Hilde" 😏 summary of "Hilde" 92 days in under 3 min. enjoy 😅🙏 I dry the plant in the boiler room because the climate there is very good. I also darkened the room so that no sunlight disturbs the drying process.😏 "Darkroom" Day 2 for "Hilde" 😏😄😜

Day 49 flowering: Hi all , I hope your all well and healthy. I think I have made a few miscalculation errors of flowering weeks here.lol I began timing their flowering period a little later than had been flowering I think. Seeing how advanced the #2 has been the entire grow followed very closely by the #1 , and adding the natural fading and leaves dying off that is very obvious too , these are very near their ripen time. looking back over the diary to when I began timing , the buds are fairly well in process so must have begun earlier but I missed the switch with the other seedling dramas I had going on at the time. oops. I am using the time line to keep the other Gorilla girl (#4) and the switch cheese at least on track timing wise ( sort of .lol) I expect the #2 girl will be ready within 2 weeks now but will show as an early harvest on the days. I have added the Shogun Dragon Force into their feed now for a week ( 2 more feeds at least) and then its a mild feeding of the Megacrop till finish. I do love their products and have been impressed by the dragon forces result on trichs. These Darker Gorilla (#2 +#4) girls are so trich laden already and very tacky to touch with a beautiful fruity smell pushing out too. The pictures just don't compare to the live and direct context with these buds but I tried to catch their best anyway. I haven't seen any pictures on sweets seeds grows of gorilla girls that are this dark purple at all and their examples are more akin to the #1 and #3 i have . I live them appearance of the dark phenos and a sure fire selling point for them ?. @sweetseeds ?. you seen these beautiful girls guys ?. With that said the younger ladies are also doing brilliantly with the #4 starting to swell and frost up similar to her older sister#2. Her structure was set slightly looser than the other 3 to see how it altered their bud production compared. She has wider node gaps that have their own clusters with them and she has grown taller from less ties obviously but , it also created a more airy frame for the density of the buds which is a bonus in a smaller environment. I don't feel as worried about bud rot with her as I do the other 3. I plan to brutal defol one of the next autos being run to see how this affects the final result. using the same strains should be a fair comparison. The Sweet cheese has also allowed me to satisfy my curiosity and try a natural untouched grow. She has some beautiful coloured on her tight single stemmed main and the side branching is attempting to keep up with the main but nowhere near as productive . while she is a capable height , i prefer the L.S.T for shape and working on so far. Being so hands off is a new one for me too.lol Her diesel smell is really evident now and even the lowers are getting a nice chalky appearance of trichs hiding the pink hues she has going on all over. Inhave enjoyed this grow with the sweet girls and only wish I hadn't lost so many of the other strains so early on. The 3 gaper apes are growing good but the gorilla purple is still quite small. I’m not sure if it’s due to something I did or a genetic thing considering that the gorilla purple is a different strain than the 3. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Only time will tell (The Gorilla purple is the small one on the bottom right)

Decent week..... flushed the nutes and started again because it looked like I was scorching it! Smell has increased 10 fold and my garage stinks 😂 I had previously convinced my Girlfriend that the smell was actually the plant food, but now she sees me for the liar that I am. Looked under the magnifying glass today and seen milky trichomes and what looks like a couple that are half turning amber. So for that reason (and partly because I’m getting dogs abuse about the smell) I’m going to start flushing from today and move to harvest mid next week 😎

Alright alright… getting to that fun stage. Flowers are fattening and we are going to run them another week and a half for the effects I’m looking for. They have been de netted and trimmed up to expose all bud sites. There will be no larf or popcorn this run.

Greetings fellow growers 🖖 and welcome to my first grow ever. This adventure actually started several months ago when I decided to stop buying flower from dispensaries and just grow my own bud. How hard can it be!? This is actually my second seed of this strain. The first bean sadly died due to over watering (sorry girl, RIP). I was literally watering the cube to the point where water was dripping from the bottom, then heavily sprayed the humidity dome and tray with the vents completely closed. Everyday. Multiple times. I never let the dome or try dry out. So after about 8 days of not sprouting, there was a funky smell of rot. So that was that. Later I learned that rockwool retains a lot of water and can easily drown seeds. So a wet/dry cycle is best for rockwool germination. So even after hours of researching and digging through forums and tutorial videos, I was still under prepared for this journey. Did not consider how delicate the germination phase is. Oh well. Lesson learned. Reset and try again! I hope everyone is safe and stoned during this corona crisis. Just like everyone else in the world, I want this pandemic to be over with. But in the meantime, let's grow some weed! 🖖 [START OF WEEK 01] Day 01 - Monday - 08/03/20 - Total Days: 001 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Light Schedule: 24Hrs/0 --- Soaked cube in 5.5 PH water for 10 min. Did not shake water out. --- NO NUTES! Only PH'd down to control the PH levels. --- Did not use the default hole (way too deep). --- Flipped cube upside down and made a shallow hole for the seed (less than 0.25" deep). --- Placed seed in and pinched hole close. No additional water added. --- Sprayed the tray and dome with straight water (5.5 PH). --- Vents are cracked opened a for ventilation (about 1/4 opened each). --- Distance between the light and tray was 53" --- AC was set to 80 °F --- Exhaust fan was set to 86 °F --- Room average temp was at 85 °F --- Dome humidity was at 85-99% when sprayed. --- Allowing to completely dry before respraying. - [2200]: Dome and tray were completely dry! Sprayed only tray and dome with more water. Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/04/20 - Total Days: 002 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Sprayed dome and tray in the morning. Everything was dry. --- Hoping for the best! - [2130]: Everything was dry again, so sprayed dome and tray at night along with a light spray on the cube. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/05/20 - Total Days: 003 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Everything was dry again. Resprayed dome and tray. Slightly sprayed cube. - [2125]: Hooo damn!! She popped! Am little stub is visible! Resprayed dome and tray again. --- Still going 24/0 for lights. - [+0033]: Just checked up on her and I swear she grew a bit taller! Getting excited! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/06/20 - Total Days: 004 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Wow! Went from a little stub to fully sprouted overnight! Everything was pretty dry again so resprayed dome and tray. - [2200]: Tap root is visible! Over 1" long too! Just resprayed dome and tray again. -- Going to prep for hydroton transplant tomorrow! Day 05 - Friday - 08/07/20 - Total Days: 005 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: She keeps growing! -- Added a bit of CalMag to the spray bottle (8 drops to 650ml of distilled water). Resprayed dome and tray. Water was at a 5.4 PH with 141 PPM. - [1045]: Prepped the bubble bucket with 4.5gal of water. Water is high enough to reach about 0.25" above the bottom of the net pot. --- Added 3 drops of Superthrive --- Added 3.5ml of CaliMagic --- Added 2ml Hydroguard --- Then PH'd down to 5.6 --- Solution Strengh: 120 PPM --- Water chiller is set to 20 °C - [1100]: Transplant time! --- Filled the net basket 1/3 with hydroton. When placed in the bucket, air bubbles are not visible, but are slightly below the surface (slight digging will reveal the water/bubbles below). --- Removed plastic on rockwool cube and placed in basket, then filled around and covered with hydroton. Making sure to block any light from passing through the net pot and into the nutrient solution. --- Covered with a half-bottle dome sprayed with the CalMag water from earlier. --- Hoping for the best! - [1300]: Raised Bucket 5" higher. Now light distance is 48" to top of bucket. - [1820]: Lowered tent exhaust temp to 76 °F --- Lowered AC to 75 °F --- Raised bucket even higher so light distance is 30" to top of bucket. - [2300]: Looking good! --- Sprayed dome and surrounding hydroton with more CalMag water. --- Attached timer to light! So new 18 Hrs On/6 Hrs Off light schedule. --- Lights On: [1600] (4pm) --- Lights Off: [+1000] (10am the next day) --- Decided to go with lights on during the evening/night and off during the later mornings/afternoon (the hottest part of the day) to see if temps can be controlled better. --- Please survive girl! Day 06 - Saturday - 08/08/20 - Total Days: 006 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Everything was dry. Resprayed hydroton and dome. - [2000]: Here first night cycle seemed to go well! Get'n taller! --- Dry again. Removed the dome. --- PH went up to 6.5 so PH'd down to 5.7 --- Ran the top feed drip ring for a bout a minute to wet the hydroton and rockwool with the nutient solution. ---Too scared to leave the top feed on 24hrs (I don't want over water her and cause dampening-off). Will let dry before re-watering. - [2100]: After closer inspection, I think she's looking a bit yellow. --- Decided to add a bit of grow nutes to the bubbler solution. --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 176 PPM --- PH went up to 6 --- I hope that the extra chelating properties of the 'PH Perfect' solution is enough of a buffer for proper nutrient uptake. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/09/20 - Total Days: 007 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Water dropped a bit (mostly due to evaporation) so solution strength was at 190. --- Checked PH again. Was still at 6, so PH'd down to 5.4 --- Ran the top feed for a minute to wet the hydroton a bit. - [0915]: Since she's looking perky but still a bit yellow. So decided to up the nutrient concentration even more before lights out. --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 199 PPM --- PH went up to 5.8 - [1700]: Checked nutrients. --- PH: 5.9 --- Solution strength: 202 PPM --- Added 4ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- PH after adding more nutes: 5.9 --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 238 PPM - [2130]: Decided to make a new foliar spray to address the continued yellowing. --- Started with 500ml of distilled water. --- Added 3 drops of CaliMagic --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow A --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow B --- Added 3 drops of B-52 --- Added 1 drop of Superthrive --- Solution strength: 164 PPM --- PH was at 5.9 and did not adjust. --- Gave her one spray. --- Also sprayed the surrounding hydroton. [END OF WEEK 01]

No stress in her final week. She had just water this week which stopped 3 days ago as I knew I was chopping her. D69 of bloom and I'm very happy. Flowers are super dense. Like rocks..👍🏼😋. See you in days for a little update on how they have dried.🇬🇧👍🏼

Opium is quite fantastic, the incredible storms have not harmed her in any way and she is booming the blooming stage! Aside from a few dark spots on her leaves there are not any complaints from us and if you could smell how delicious her aroma is, you would understand why. Our only addition to the weekly maintenance has been Epsom salts in the rain barrel, Opium also had a one time dusting of coffee grounds to the top of her soil bed. Our only worry is the weather this year, the storms have been fierce and the rain will not let up. Our temperatures at night are quite low already, the two biggest fears for an outdoor grow is bud rot and or not finishing before the frost arrives. We are confident that our Opium will be fine although only time will tell.

The"cream" de la Caramel Auto is one funny and delicious strain i am so happy also with these one is another gol in faster strains I just can say sweetseeds are for the most quickly seeds compare day to day with 3 other's. I just see the picture and videos and is. Really a good seedbank .we are Also using a co2enhancer bottle for TnB naturals and the megacrop one time every two weeks and the biobizz also every two weeks separate like these they get every week feeding

Well this was an absolute joy to grow and a stunning plant to look at. Thick nugs covered in a blanket of trichomes with a intoxicating smell that is like walking into Grandma's house while she is baking chocolate goodies. The team at Fastbuds nailed this one. Great strain for all skill levels and I would recommend to first time growers right through to the more seasoned veterans. This is my second attempt so I seem to take longer than most to harvest lol I have to try to figure out why that is, I can imagine this plant in the proper hands would be a crowd pleaser for sure. I will definitely be Growing again but with a different training technique because way too much trimming and training involved albeit was such an enjoyable experience just not a practical one if Growing multiple plants. 2 weeks and I'll sample a joint and my pax to give my initial thoughts but if she taste like she smells than going to be a staple in my bud bar. I can't wait until a good cure for this bad girl. This will be a staple in my bud bar and is a great strain for newbies and pros as it's very resilient and redponds well to any kind of training. The smell is intoxicating and will only get better with age which I will cure for 2 months just in time to show her stuff off to famila and friends. Just over 100 grams of solid nugs. Such a fun experience Growing Fastbuds genetics and my favorite strain to date that I have grown. Excited to grow the Fastbuds lineup in the future.
