week 3 of flower looks like they are hungry. Last week I Lolly popped the bottom 1/3 of the plants for air flow and to push the energy to the tops. I have a theory that the potassium is low in the media due to flowering I was going to wait till the 4th week of flower to give them a topdressing. but I think I will mix some PK booster in the next watering and fertigate the pots from the top, so the plants have immediate access to the PK for flowering. let me know what you think after watching the video image section. take care for now,

Durban Poison are flowering beautifully. This Sativa strain is also putting out a few new shoots, even here in week 17. Either I accidentally let some light in during the day a couple of times, or—more likely—I trimmed away some small lower branches that were dying from light deprivation, and that triggered a minor burst of growth at the tips. Otherwise, they are flowering beautifully; the colas are bulking up, though they haven't really started to densify yet. A powerful aroma has emerged, and a sticky resin residue is starting to linger slightly on my hands. There is almost no visible "sugar" (trichome frosting) on ​​the leaves. They are drinking about 1–2 liters each per day. For the most part, I’ve been feeding them just water supplemented with Cal-Mag and acidifiers throughout the week. Occasionally, I add 2 ml/L of Simplex Aroma Punch. I’m hoping to harvest a decent yield this time around; the main stems are certainly robust enough. Seventeen weeks is an insanely long grow cycle. In the future, I’ll be switching to "Fast Flowering" strains (40-day cycles) or varieties with ultra-short flowering periods—something like Jelly Donutz from this same seed bank.

Well the stretch is done.2 of these girls have big nice nuggs that will be done in a couple weeks and the other 3 have much small nuggs and they look like they have about 4 to 5 weeks left .

Have grown 3 gorilla cookies autos out to harvest and all three have been noticeably different in growth and characteristics

First feeding on day 8. I will be watering with nutes and plain PH's tap water every other watering as required by the dryness of the soilless mix. Watering until about 10% runoff each time. Current lighting: mix of LED & CFL- total wattage 71 watts.

18. November Die sechste Woche ist angebrochen. Heute keine Einsicht unternommen. 19. November Die Begleiter kommt so langsam aus der Erde. Sind noch wenige. Spätestens in einer Woche neu nachlegen, falls nicht ausreichend wachsen. Die drei Damen entwickeln sich prächtig. Stresssymptome durch das schneiden sind kaum noch bemerkbar. Cookies gelato kommt mit den neuen Hauptrieben sehr gut zurecht. Wachstumstempo hat deutlich zugenommen. Tropimango sieht deutlich gesünder aus. Auch bei ihr ist endlich mal etwas Tempo im Wachstum spürbar. Die Runtz fühlt sich aktuell so an als würde sie den Rahmen des Zeltes sprengen wollen, sobald es in den blütestretch geht. Die Triebe haben sehr dicke Stämme, die Blätter sind verhältnismäßig zu den anderen Pflanzen sehr groß. Selbst neu entwickelte Triebe und Blätter starten deutlich größer als ich es bisher gewohnt bin. Aber schaun wa mal was wird… was wird. Der Fimmingschnitt hat mir einen schrägen Trieb hervorgebracht. Ka was ich damit machen soll. Nächstes Mal halt gerade schneiden 🤝 20. November Runtz hat ein unglaubliches Wachstumsbedürfnis. Ihre Blätter sind riesig und tiefgrün. Sie verdeckt innerhalb von Stunden erneut ihre anderen Triebe Sie trinkt auch deutlich mehr als die Cookie & Tropi. Hab ihr heute nochmal 3l Wasser mit dem vollem Düngerprogramm zugemutet. Die anderen beiden kommen gut voran, haben allerdings noch kein Wasser bekommen. Die Töpfe sind noch zu schwer. Tropimango wuchert in alle Richtungen Cookies Gelato darf weiterhin an Höhe gewinnen. Ich spiele mit dem Gedanken sie kurz vor dem Wechsel in die Blüte erneut zu toppen. 😅 21. November Die Cookies gelato wurde mit 3l Wasser versorgt. Zusätzlich gabs noch 1ml power buds von plagron. Kleine Vorbereitung auf die Blüte. Tropimango hat 2l Wasser mit den normalen düngeschema erhalten. Runtz wurde gestern mit 3l versorgt, ebenfalls normale düngeschema. Zusätzlich hab ich ihr die großen Blätter genommen, sowie die seitentriebe neu ausgerichtet 22. November Habe bei der Runtz den schiefen Trieb abgeschnitten. Er ist leider viel zu verstümmelt. Die Idee war dass dieser Trieb dementsprechend der Pflanze Zuviel Energie zieht, die sie an einer anderen Stelle besser investieren könnte. Daher im heute der Schnitt Cookies Gelato gewinnt an Höhe. Im Verhältnis zur Runtz ist sie unglaublich gut ausgeprägt, ist allerdings auch 14 Tage älter. Die Tropimango sieht weiterhin merkwürdig aus. Ich kann leider nicht sagen ob ich beim Erde mischen irgendwas falsch gemacht habe. Weiß auch nicht wie ich drauf Einfluss nehmen könnte. Aber sie wächst. Von daher geht’s einfach weiter. 23. November Die Woche neigt sich so langsam dem Ende zu. Nach ewigem umentwcheiden kam ich jetzt dennoch zu dem Entschluss, die Pflanzen zu Beginn der neuen Woche in die Blüte zu schicken. Die Cookies gelato hat daher noch ihr letztes topping bekommen. Nachdem sie einen ordentlichen Wachstumsschub bekommen hat, gehe ich von aus dass sie es gut wegsteckt. Die tropimango gefällt mir immer besser :) Ich hoffe sie geht in der Blüte nicht unter, da sie eine babygenetik ist. Runtz (irgendwie hört sich der Name eklig an. Muss da an einen alten Mann denken, der seine Nase hochzieht und dann auf den Boden spuckt) wird so wie sie wird. Der Stamm ist super stabil aber sie ist verhältnismäßig klein für ihr Alter. Dafür produziert sie immer noch riesige Blätter. Cookies gelato ist nun 39 Tage alt. Tropimango ist nun 36 Tage alt. Runtz ist nun 25 Tage alt.

Giving Alien Vs Triangle a second try after my first started showing signs of herming (bananas). Planted the seed directly in soil and she sprouted in 5 days. I'm not going to do HST bending as I did with the first one. I know I accidentally went overboard with HST the first time and that most likely caused her to herm out. I want to get her to harvest as quickly as possible so just going to do some light defoliation and a FIM pinch on this girl. The first AVT smelled insanely good when I chopped her, I'm looking forward to bringing this one to a proper harvest. 👍 My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. This is my first cultivation with SweetSeeds, I've only heard good reviews about them, so it seems that the first week went well, I will use Biotabs fertilizer for this cultivation - the first time :) so I prepared the soil according to the pre-specified norms on the Biotabs leaflet, according to it now the girl will only receive water for 4 weeks :) Good luck to everyone.

Week 8

Hello this is the end of week2 and the beginning of week 3 of veg. I found some small white marks and knew it was thrips... so I sprayed them with some Doctor Doom to get rid of them. I guess I didn't shake the can enough or sprayed too close and burnt the little seedlings. Felt bad. But they are bouncing back. The new leaves look good. The plants are getting some regular nutrients and seem to be growing good now. I'll start to sex them at around week 5 and then every watering after that I'll get down with my magnifying glass and look at the preflowers. Most will show their sex by week 8 and I'm only keeping 1 male for breeding. The best male, I hope. Seeing how the second strain didn't start so good, I'll put these girls into the green house. Got 6 spots in there for the 6 best females. I'll determine which is the best males and females, with the stem rub test. I'll tell you about it later... 2/3 Monday. Adding Bud Ignitor this week. They are starting to stretch . 2/4 4am. 1030am LOTS of LST today, used almost all the clips. Making each of the 4 colas as strong as big as a single plant. 2/5 4am 👍👍👍12pm added new top soil 2/6 They are getting really big now, will probably turn lights DOWN from 99 to 93. That is the wattage where the temperature breakpoint between having the house AC on and not needing it, just a fan blowing air into the room. room temperature 74. 2/7 3am 5am 12pm LST CRAZY today, did all the side branches having all the different kinds help.
