Day 15 - Watered again today. Plant grew quite a decent amount and the stem has finally begun to thicken. Will need a bigger humidifier for sure, and then one that can automatically keep humidity at a certain % Day 16 - Growth is definitely starting to take off. Stem is finally getting thick enough to where LST seemed to be a good idea to start. Smell is getting stronger, but still can only be sensed when holding the plant to your face. Will probably need to plant into the final container in a week. Going to also add another light (105 W) by the end of the week. Day 18 - Watered, got new humidifier. Just using that for now in the whole room, since it gets too dry in here anyways with the heating. Day 19 - Transplanted to what should be the final container today. Was a good time to transplant too, the roots were beginning to bunch up at the bottom of the previous container. Using Atami Bio-Growmix as the soil now. Accidentally damaged one leaf during the transplant. Stopped with LST for today to let the plant recover a bit from the transplant. Then will resume it tomorrow. Might be trying out SCROG...but first will read more about it. Also thinking of FIMing soon...but also going to read a little more and let the plant recover more from the transplant first. Have another lamp now, the 105W. However, didn't realize that it has a low kelvin value. So getting a couple of new higher kelvin lamps soon. Will just use the 105W in combination with a 125W during flowering. Smell is increasing, but not noticeable outside the tent. Day 20 - FIMmed today. Not sure if it was a great idea, the part taken off seemed to have possible beginnings of flowers inside. Not certain though, so yeah...will see what happens 😅. The third set of fan leaves turns out to be 7 leafed, so she went straight from 3 leafed for the second set to the 7 leafed. Is that a good thing...? Also resumed LST. Day 21 - Seems like the plant might be recovering from the FIMing. Temperatures got way too low last night though, at 60 degrees. Since two 125W lamps (5500K) are being used now, the temperatures are getting a bit warmer, from 78 to 80 degrees. So it's important that the night temperatures don't get that low again. Was thinking of eventually doing three 125W lamps with the 105W for blooming phase, but that will probably be too warm even with an extraction fan (the 105W, being older, produces more heat than the 125W). Not yet sure what will end up being done for the blooming phase lighting. Tomorrow is week four...flowers will probably start appearing soon by the end of the week. Hope it's been able to fully recover from FIMing by then.

High winds with continuous rain make these girls strong...buds are starting to swell 4 weeks today being full moon...more rain should follow tonight into the week. Rain water is really the best for plants 💯

Buds just getting bigger, oscillating fan packed up so turned up the extraction fan. Watering now with no nutrients and she is still drinking a lot. Must be patient!!!

Dutch Passion Shaman Beide Pflanzen haben die tagelangen teils heftigen Regenfälle unter ihrem Schirm gut überstanden. Sie kamen auch beide gut ohne Wasser zurecht. Mein Plan, sie durch Reduktion der Wasserverdunstung vor Schaden zu schützen, hat funktioniert. Beobachten konnte ich eine deutliche Zunahme an Trichomen. Der Duft der beiden ist sehr angenehm floral und fügt sich unauffällig in den Geruch des Gartens ein. So kann es weiter gehen. Die Wetterprognose sieht gut aus. Zwei Nächte wurde der Taupunkt unterschritten, die Pflanzen und Blüten waren bis mittags mit Raureif bedeckt. Ich kontrolliere die Blätter und Blüten deshalb weiterhin täglich. In der kommenden Woche soll es aber keinen Nebel mehr geben und so freue ich mich, dass beide weiterhin gesund sind und weiter reifen können. Bis nächste Woche! 💚

Seed was put in a glass of water on the 2nd of January 20:00 (8PM). Around 15h later it sunk to the bottom and I transferred it to a wet paper towel inside a zip. Around 51h later (so ~36h inside zip) the seed had not yet opened. I am a little worried, but at the same time not because I've looked up what the pro's say and some of them don't even look at the seed until after the seed has spent at least 48h inside the paper towel. I will be patient and wait for the seed to open. After the seed has opened I will be even more patient and let the root grow for a bit. I have grown 2 of these plants in my lifetime and first time was really good, second time was very bad, and the second time I planted it when the root was ~1mm long. I will not rush things this time. I will also be careful to not let the root grow too long. If I'll have it my way, then I'll be planting this baby tomorrow evening, so in a bit less than 24h from now. If I have to reschedule then it will probably be planted on the 6th of January. Worst case scenario: We have to restart with a new seed. Bless you. Update 5 Jan 2022 17:29 (05:29 PM): We have a root! The seed has opened ever so slightly and the root has grown more and more during today. I want the root to grow a tiny bit longer before I plant it. I will take another look before bedtime. Update 5 Jan 2022 20:43 (08:43 PM): Root has not grown much since the last picture, will plant tomorrow. Update 6 Jan 2022 10:05 (10:05 AM): Will plant later. Root is too short. Update 6 Jan 2022 15:00 (03:00 PM): Root is still shorter than I had in mind but my patience has ran out and I think it is still a fine length for the seed to do really good. I also have very good soil for her with claimed great amount of nutrients for seedlings. When it gets large enough I will transplant her to a 11L pot. The 11L pot has been filled with more than 11L soil. Probably around 15L. By the way, the plant has a name, her name is "Satan" but is referred to as a "she". Update 12 Jan 2022 18:00 (06:00 PM): We have a sprout! I saw the sprout some hours ago. I am sure that I planted the seed quite perfectly in the middle. However, the sprout happened very much to the side. I suspect that there was something in the soil that might blocked the sprout. So far it looks like we planted Satan on the 6th of January and we got a sprout on the 12th. I will consider Satan to be in germination stage until it grows a little more. Then I will treat it like she's in the vegetative phase. ----------------------------- SUMMARY: Day 1-21 in Satans life has been so wonderful. Not a minute goes by without me feeling euphoric about her. Every day when I wake up I go to the grow-room and tell her good morning. I hold her largest leaf between my thumb and index-fingers to hold leaf (hold hand) and we just hold leaf together for a few seconds while I admire her beauty. She is so absolutely gorgeous and kind and she is also very happy with her environment. I already have another plant in another grow-room which also is a Northern Lights and I have kept a diary of her as well, just not on growdiaries.com (everything is kept in a Word-document). This other plant is called Kim, named after Kim Jong-Un. Kim and her diary is going to be utilized as a "roadmap" for Satan, so I should know what to expect and when to expect it. I also did a few mistakes with Kim, such as water too much or let her grow with way too much nitrogen in the air. Satan will instead be the best grow I have ever done - hopefully. Everything is going great I'm more worried about the chocolate haze. Mango haze. White widow they arent as big didn't start with the same nutrients but ive altered them to be the same hopefully they'll speed up

its day 35 since sproud and the plant looks good so far. I removed some leaves and started training her with that bending clips to make the branches stronger. I collected leave mold from the surrounding woods. a lot of white fungy hopefully usefull mycoriza.

These 8 plants had a vegetative period of 3 months and grown organically, these ladies had a lot of training and came out beautifully except 1 plant which was both over and under watered. I don't seem to understand why these plants are not smelly at all literally there is no smell, not while in vegetative stage and nor in flowering, don't know is this a bad or good thing while trichomes are clearly visible at day 7 of flowering.

Was worth to give her 2 weeks more. But i didnt dry her slow it was pretty hot around 24C with low humidity. She dryt 6 days was to long i have a humidity from 58% in the jar. I like more 62-64% that i cure it under my controll but it is what it is guess i have to do nothing and keep smoking 😎 It smokes well was glad that the fast drying did mess up the taste but it is fine orange citrus like but not like the froot more like the peel strong terpinns.
