Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. This strain averages 50-70cm in height. We have six plants here and every one of them is taller than the average... but would you just look at plant 1? She is a giant! 102cm!! Where will she stop? Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week. 📆 Semana 6 El cultivo avanza con fuerza en la fase de engorde. Los cogollos continúan apilando cálices y empiezan a ganar densidad, con erizos cada vez más formados a lo largo de las puntas. La resina aumenta de forma visible y las flores comienzan a mostrar más carácter, mientras la canopia sigue trabajando de forma uniforme aprovechando bien la luz. Las hojas grandes siguen cediendo parte de su energía hacia las flores, algo natural en este punto del ciclo, mientras los aromas empiezan a intensificarse dentro del armario. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

Cantaloupe haze needed a good flush brought runoff from 2000 ppm to 1100ppm will continue to monitor.

I just knew it lol.. this is a slow girl to get started but once u get her going shes exploding, the stems are so thick. id be suprised if this one doesnt come out as the tallest ones with the fattest nugs in the end, the yield remains to be seen

Defoliated then cut down. They are full of autumn colours 😍 after drying they averaged 65-70g per plant, not bad for 1ltr pots. The high has an old school feel to it, it's very tastey but I don't smell or taste pineapple at all, more a car Polish/strong parsnip smell in the background. Recommended and after a 2 week cure very strong for an auto. I will grow again at some point.

I just cut her down like 3 weeks ago. Gd was having update issues. It had pretty purple flowers. They had a nice layer of resin on them. I will update more when I do the smoke report, and have it processed and ready. AK-47 Goxuak Autoflower by Genehtik is a truly awesome plant and really really fun to grow! My 1st thought was I wish I had know more when I ordered the seeds. I only bought 1 from the single seed centre .com 🤦‍♂️ Of all the plants our house sitters watched for us back in week 7, this is the only one they regularly ask about and want to know when its finished. Even they loved growing it! And they only spent a week with her and aren't gardeners 😄 Ashoka started in a Jiffy tomato pod and was transplanted almost as an afterthought. In fact we ran out of containers and had to improvise with the water pitcher. (We didn't have high hopes) Oops. The pitcher turned out to be a big benefit in that I could see the roots and diagnose and potential issues. She has been in the same Fox Farms; Happy Frog soil ever since planting the pod into the pitcher. The soil held up good too. Ashoka didn't start showing any deficiencies until the end of week 6, around the middle of her stretch. Correcting this was very easy, we added the recharge at first but it didn't quite do it. We had to feed her Advanced Nutrients Bloom and Grow for about 2.5 weeks. But this Goxuak really never complained : 1:😎 Low Stress Training (LST) for Ashoka was a breeze! At 14 days she was 4" tall and too short to train. She doubled in height in a week and we started training around day 24. Just in the nick of time too! She entered flower about a week after that and stretched like crazy!🤪 the AK-47 gave us about 3 full weeks of nice flexible branches to train before hardening up. We ended up with a pretty even canopy and some solid colas too I wanted to touch on the lighting as there isn't a lot of options on this platform. Ashoka spent her life under 2 different lights. 1st, she sprouted and spent the first 4 weeks vegging under 2x Viparspectra 600w(250 true watts) LEDs at an 18/6 light cycle. She finished her flower and fade under A Optic 8 (500 true watts) LED. At 18/6 At around day 60 I started flushing her.(well my house sitter Sam did the first time) We used Cyco Kleanse and flushed 5 Gallons thru her until the ppm was down to 350ish, I did the next 2 flushes. The 2nd I used Kleanse again getting the runoff ppm to ~120. Her final week I stopped ph-ing the water and just watered tap. I also gave her the 3rd and final flush with straight Ice cold tap water. She really showed a great fade!! Some buds definitely colored up too!! Finally the Harevst: I put her in a 5Gal bucket of ice in complete darkness for 4 days.😈 This was done with the intent to help her produce more resin and frost up. I can't say if it truly worked. She absolutely doubled the trichome production in those 4 days, but idk if it was the time or the darkness and ice. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I kept her in a sealed closet with a oscillating fan and humidifier at 75°and 63%RH. On the 3rd day I lowered the RH to 50%. She got trimmed and put into jars on the 5th day after harvest. I am monitoring the humidity and burping regularly (8-10x a day) Smoke Report: Creamy pepper with a cherry syrup aftertaste.🤣🤪 I've only smoked a bowl so haven't tested the ashes. But she is curing nice. A bit harsh yet I expect will go away after a couple more days. The high is perfect tho! Just what we wanted. It creeps up on u. But you will be confused by the time you finish the bowl. A very cerebral high(I chopped her whole trichomes were only 10% amber) that was great with good company. My girl andI are both veteran smokers, but this bud still made us both giggly(a rarity). It's a good social smoke and was fun to be on around others. The only downsides were it caused a mild confusion and paranoia. Like I would forget what I was talking about then worry ppl were laughing at me for it(they were though) 🤣🤣 I plan to report more feedback after it had cured a couple weeks. I'll invite others people's opinions as well. Right now I can definitely say the AK-47 Goxuak from Genehtik it an autoflower I would recommend to anyone, but especially new auto growers. I will be ordering more next season if they ate available. Genehtik has won me over. They genetics were extremely stable and safe. No herms no deficiencies nothing but greatness! 🌱🌱🌱 I had to share! I was looking on the breeder Instagram page( @Genehtik_chile) and they used a few of my pictures of Ashoka to represent their AK-47 Goxuak auto. I really feel honored by this. I have only been growing for 5 months and know I'm not good, but it's inspiring and motivating when the breeder of the strain give you an attaboy like this. Thanks Genehtik! Day 35 Flower Hey Growers. Things are going well here, other than the delicious funk that is emanating from my house. The carbon filter is not able to keep up with these beauties and the FastBuds flowering at the same time. It’s also about 5 years old so…..time for a new one. It also doesn’t help that the 4 ft of snow around the house is melting and I have to have the grow room door open for the sump line, but whatever. These girls are just cruising along. I watered with 950 ppm and 1650 was the runoff. I’m noticing a bit of tip burn but I hear that normalish for full spectrum leds. They make the plants draw extra mag, seems like the Epsom is helping with that. I’m getting to a point where I may need to water twice a day to achieve denser quality buds, the next couple weeks will dictate that. Hand watering hydro is a terrible idea!!!!!!!!!! Too late to turn back. I am running the Vipar Spectra XS2000 at the recommended 16” at 100%. I’m also alternating from the right to left side of the tent each day like a poor man’s light mover. I’m noticing leaf edge curl (tacoing) but it’s nothing major and they pointing upwards. They seem happy. All in all I’m happy with how it’s going, just gonna keep it on cruise control and tuck or remove leaves causing problems. Happy Growing 🌱

Moin, Die Zkittlez hat ihre 7. Blütewoche gut überstanden und befindet sich weiterhin in der Abreife der Blüten. Es gab bis auf die Hitze keine großen Ereignisse. Die Blüten sind wirklich schön mit Trichomen besetzt und der Geruch wird mittlerweile immer mehr ins süße, da hat sich seit letzter Woche nochmal gut was getan. The Zkittlez has come through its 7th week of flowering well and is still in the flowering maturation phase. Aside from the heat, there haven’t been any major developments. The flowers are beautifully covered in trichomes, and the scent is becoming increasingly sweet, and there’s been another noticeable improvement since last week.

No disease & easy strain to grow so far (even for beginners) Got some little balls in the lower buds sadly but the tase, smell & high are so epic that i dont care 🤪 Some friends described the taste as something like pepper, others as something like lavender, but hey, we smokin on killer weed :o Lovely dense buds covered in trichs ty HSO
