Papaya sherbet really doesn’t like to be drenched. She likes her pot to stay more dry but she is a beautiful specimen top for days. Still trying to dial her nutrients in. She’s a picky eater but fire genetics. I grew the papaya Auto flower and loved it so cannot wait to see how the papaya sherbet turns out. 💪🔥

Pheno hunt is rolling along smoothly. Gave the plants their first feeding. Top dressed with coast of Maine lobster compost cut with Stonington blend to give a little aeration. 3:1 ratio coast of Maine plant food 5:2:4. Roughly 1 tbsp per pot. Mixed in with compost and soil and scratched into top 4 inches Watered in with a blend of Neptune harvest liquid fertilizer in ratio 1:2:1 (npk) watered down to 1tsp/gal in this order: Fish: Crab: Kelp The ZB is definitely a shorter stockier plant with short internodal spacing. Originated from very tiny seeds which might explain the smaller plant form at the start. Once it puts in some biomass it might pick up the speed. HP seems to like to stretch a little more. Growing like crazy Rainbow belts looking like the model freak of nature that it is. Near perfect. 18hrs post feed/ top dress and the plants are recovering beautifully. Liquid fertilizer is not ideal as it's expensive and you're paying a lot for water. But for my grow it's very necessary to lower solution pH into something acceptable. Next week I'm hoping to harvest some young plants in a nearby forest to create a brown sugar fermented plant juice in order to get away from the high nutrition of emulsions. Update day 19 Seems that ZB HATES having it's roots dry. Really needs to be watered almost daily to keep it happy. Strange

Been away couple of days Day 74 Came back and the lady’s exploded. Dropped down the nutrients since day 60 and started flushing on day 68. I’m waiting for the plants to get brown trichomes. But all in all I’m happy if I don’t fuck it up somehow

08/21/24. Going into week 8 flower Day 57 out of stated 64. So one week left exactly. I’m not sure on that. She’s still drinking at the same rate as usual, and there’s still quite a few white hairs. I’ll be looking at her trichomes today anyway, just to see where we’re at. Either way she’s getting just water from here on out. She’s dark af and has some nutrient burn anyway, so I’m sure she’ll be fine. She’s fattened quite a bit more than I expected. Seemed like her buds would be kinda long and skinnier. No complaints here though. She’s getting pretty damn frosty and sticky too. She has a kinda piney sweetish smell. Start the count down ⏰ See yuh ✌️

Looking great , smelling fruity , sticky as and chunking up nicely. One more week of food then it’s flush time .

Rolling along, been fighting everything from thrips and aphids to catapillars and pm. Been doing an IPM regimen of Lost Coast and Monterey BT. Also de powder around the base of my plants.

08/21/24. Going into week 8 flower Welcome back to hell. Just kidding.. kinda.. Day 57 out of the 71 stated. This girls definitely going the whole way, if not more. She’s trying to make up for time that was taken from her. With the way she’s filling out now, I’m like damn. What would she have been like had we not hit a huge long bump in the road?? I’m shocked at what she’s even doing honestly. Big ups to Pablita. 👊 I guess this diary can just be a testament to this strain being resilient af. Also, hopefully it can serve as an example that you can bring a plant back from near death. Anyhow, giving her plain water currently as I think there’s still some build up in her soil. I tried feeding her a bit and noticed immediate tip burns. Going do water again next time as well and then a VERY light feeding that time after and see the happenings. I’m just trying to take it as slow and easy as possible with her. With progress .. don’t wanna throw everything back to shit. She’s thirsty every other day. Drinks almost a gallon, and get about 10% run off. Guess that’ll be all for now. ✌️

8/21/24. Going into week 8 flower Are we there yet? Haha.. no. Day 57 out of stated 70. 13 days? Hmmm I don’t know. I thought she might go longer than that, BUT now I think it’ll be less. I suspect another week and she’ll be ready. Appearance wise, I’d say she’s pretty much there.. trichomes say other wise. Still quite a bit of clear with the start of milky coming. It’s all gonna be about ripening now. Water/fed her today. She’s yellowing heavily or I would have already stopped. I’m guessing this is just her type of fade. No real colors going other than yellow. Maybe that’s because she’s a banana 😄 I increased the light to 80% a couple days ago just to be a pushy bitch. I’ll decrease it way down to probably about 40-50% in a few days because I like to do that when they’re finishing up to help bring temperature down and I think it makes them wrap it up. These pictures don’t do justice to the fatness of these buds. They’re obese and not ashamed. Body positivity with this girl. Somehow some of the buds have suicided. Aka jumped out of their spot in the trellis and tried to hit the floor. I can’t do anything about it really. Can’t reach them and can’t be bothered. Smell? Skunky rotten fruity…idk. And coffee? Visto que ya estamos a mediados de agosto y pareceria que quieren empezar a florecer voy a empezar esta semana con el bloom. Mitad bloom mitad grow 51d nuevo tratamiento preventivo con TD + Solabiol, Foliar. Una vez el tratamiento para evitar que las lluvias limpien la planta suelo ponerlas bajo techo. En cuanto deja de llover las vuelvo a sacar. dia 54 126ctms la nº1 y 102 la nº4 y una clara evidencia que ahora empieza lo bueno. Como puede observarse han ensanchado las ramas , han crecido notablemente y empiezan a mostrar claramente sus primeros pistilos.

Endlich hab ich die 5te Blütewoche erreicht und kann mich nicht satt sehen an den wundervoll geformten Buds. Sie werden dicker und dicker und zeigen mir damit, dass sich das Training und die Geduld jetzt schon gelohnt haben. Der Geruch ist schon recht Stark aber auch süß. Erinnert mich etwas an Pineapple Kush. Die süßliche Ananasnote 😎 Ihr Hunger lässt langsam nach. Die Nährstofflösung liegt aktuell bei 1.34 also knapp unter 1.4. Sie hat sich in der letzten Woche noch einen guten Vorrat angefressen, wodurch sie etwas dunkler wurde. Je nachdem wie sie die Nährstofflösung verbraucht, werde ich weiter anpassen. Das Höhenwachstum ist nun endgültig vorbei. Hatte etwas Angst das sie noch größer wird doch bei 79cm ist endlich Schluss. Die Lampen sind auf Anschlag und können nicht mehr weiter nach oben. Mehr wäre schwer geworden. Aber es passt alles zu gut. Ich freue mich auf die nächsten traumhaften Wochen😁 Edit: an Tag 32 Blüte, die Nährstofflösung auf 1,2 reduziert. Reicht aus. So großen Hunger hat sie gerade nicht.

August 18, Day 28. Had to flush on Friday due to nutrient lockout. There were purple stems which caught my attention to a possible nutrient deficiency. Coupled by the dark green older fan leaves and bright green of new growth, my Apera TDS meter confirmed nutrient lockout. Kaboom was flushed a total of 4 times Friday night, then foliar fed at 25% strength the next morning. She was given 1.1 liters of pHd water since the top inch was already dry despite flushing the night before. I am taking her thirst to mean she is recovering well. I plan on resuming the GH least aggressive feed schedule tomorrow and will begin feeding with every watering. Now that she's on the mend from the nutrient lockout I can tell she's thirstier than what she used to be, I'm taking that to mean she's hanging in there. Friends, growmies, cousins, comrades, colleagues and cultivars. Updates this week were minimal because this plant mama came down with COVID. Flushing a plant during COVID fever is no joke. Stay well and healthy everyone. August 19, Day 29. Fed at least aggressive strength today until 25% runoff. Included a new supplement to the nutrient line up, silica. Today is the first time I use it so I went easy and used the weakest dose. Plant has 5 main sites so far, yahoozie. To top a second time? No se todavia, deja lo pienso jajaja August 21, Day 31.Topped one more time, clipped the tallest point to give the others time to catch up. I know I will need to defoliate a tiny bit, soon, but I'm a bit scared to remove either too much or a mega vital leaf. I'll watch videos about it and aim for next week. I sprayed the top inch with pH'd water and will feed and water tomorrow morning. August 22, Day 32. Fed and watered, no recharge since I used it on Day 29. As I repositioned the kabob sticks, I noticed a couple of milestones - she is in the very beginning stages of forming pistils and she is beginning to smell. I plan on keeping her in veg for at least 2 more weeks, hopefully this isn't super ambitious for a plant named Kaboom lol 😂
