We've made it to day 28! - 17/12/20 The girls seem to be happy and healthy today. I won't be feeding/watering them as the pots are still heavy from yesterdays feed. A few of the girls have started to show sex & the smell has picked up a little bit(inside the tent), so I'm hoping to see some flowering begin this week sometime. (I've been using my iPhone as my only DSLR lens is useless for focusing on certain depths, but I hate the colour I get using the iPhone... I may be switching back to DSLR unless I can find a better camera app.) update - day 29 (18/12/20) Short update today. Fed the girls today and will probably be feeding/watering every day from here on out, we'll see though. veg growth has really taken off by now, I'm hoping to see some flowering this week. update - day 30 (19/12/20) I fed the girls today. I need to find a better way to hand water, the plants are so short and bushy its a pain getting in between all the branches. I wish i left my drip feed system up and running, I will definitely refine it and use it next run. Update - day 31 (20/12/20) Fed the girl's straight water today. I'm going to purchase the pieces I need tomorrow to reconfigure my drip feed system & hopefully have it running by mid-week! Update - day 32 I attempted to set up my drip feed system today but the plants are too thick around the base to place the halo around :( I will have to wait until next season to set it up, oh well, I guess its hand watering for the next 5-10 weeks Fingers crossed these girls start to flower ASAP. I fed the girls today, everything is looking good so far. I also moved the plants around to try to make hand watering easier, I had issues trying to water the whole pot instead of just one spot due to plants/branches being in the way. Update - Day 34 - 23/12/20 It definitely seems ill be watering the girls every day from here on out. All the girls look fairly happy and healthy, they're getting a bit big for the 5x5 they're in. PS: Understanding Foxtailing One of the girls, our Pheno #2, is starting to show signs of foxtailing. For those new to the term, foxtailing refers to when buds grow in elongated, irregular patterns instead of stacking neatly into the dense, conical shape we often expect. The result is a flower that looks “spiky” or “funky,” almost as though the plant is growing multiple little towers from a single cola. Why does this happen? There are two main sides to the story: • Genetic Foxtailing: Some strains naturally express this trait, especially sativa-leaning hybrids. In this case, foxtailing is simply part of the plant’s personality, often leading to extra surface area for resin glands, which can even mean more trichomes and aromas. • Environmental Foxtailing: Stress factors can also trigger it — high heat, intense light (too much PPFD), or shifts in feeding can encourage buds to keep stacking in odd ways rather than finishing their round formation. In our case, the temperatures have sometimes pushed higher than ideal, and the lights are running strong, so those factors might play a role. But genetics also carry a heavy influence, and Gelonade — being sativa-leaning, can naturally lean toward these elongated flower expressions. Is foxtailing a problem? Not at all. While it can look unusual compared to the “textbook” cola shape, it doesn’t reduce quality. In fact, it can increase flower mass and surface resin coverage, giving us more material and potentially more complex aesthetics. Amazing plant, very high in thc and some very nice sweet and fruity terps, something like a banana punch strain. The buds are nice and hard and i got 2 outstanding phenotypes with extreme thc production, in general the terps are quite the same on all plants. These girls are very easy to grow and not much of expertise is needed, we just gave some greenhouse biogrow and biobloom together with some sugars and other addictives. In 7 liter pots we got around 35-40g per plant which is quite good. These plants showed good resistance to lollypop and other HST

Weak smell is finally starting to develop and it is amazing. Also starting LST this week on all four plants. I need help with the Royal Jack. The plant that started out so well is really struggling and I have no idea why. Any tips are more than welcome. Also I'm having a bit of a pest situation. Ive looked under the leaves and around the plant but was unable to find anything that could be capable of doing this damage. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance

Tested the pH of the runoff and saw that it was 5.0 so I continued to water the plant while using a small dose of a liquid nutes until I had a runoff of 6.3. I did some LST for the last time just to increase the light to some of the inner bud sites. Also did a bit of defoliation

Week 13 in the garden, and it's been a week of contemplation and admiration. Despite my initial plan to flip the plants, I decided to give them another week in vegetation. It's like I'm sculpting a masterpiece, carefully grooming the plants into a perfect botanical sculpture. Working with my plants feels like art – it requires skill, love, dedication, and a sense of playing God. As I look at the tent, I can't help but feel a sense of pride and joy. These green beauties are turning out amazing, and I'm filled with overwhelming happiness whenever I get the chance to speak to people about them and show them off. But the time has come to take the next step in their journey. They're being flipped this week for sure, ready to embark on the next chapter of their growth. It's bittersweet, but I know it's all part of the magical process of growing these wonderful plants. Here's to Week 13 – a week of artistry, joy, and the promise of new beginnings. 🌿🎨

Love the amount of growth. Pruned a bit just to let light in but i cut as little as possible. If anyone has any suggestions of what to do or if you think im doing something wrong please tell me. This is only my 3rd plant ever so i have alot too learn and dont mind criticism

Today July 2nd will mark Day 36 in flower. Took the defoliating real well. Now looking forward to see what it do with Open Seasme from FoxFarm. Didn’t use the Lotus. But other water feeding . I just use pure water but PH now 6.5 . No longer in Veg. Time to boom boom bloom . Let go growmies!!! :)
