Grow Diaries: Week 9 Veg - Mentha de Croco Mutants Hello, Grow Diaries fam! 🌱✨ Week 9 is here, and while our mutants are small, they’re undoubtedly mighty in beauty and character! Each plant continues to showcase its uniqueness, with details in the leaves that are nothing short of art. As always, patience is the key, and these beauties are teaching me that every step of this journey is worth it. The Flip is Coming! After much thought, I’ve decided to flip the entire room to a 11/13 light cycle. This means it’s time to identify males and let the females show their true potential. Here’s the plan: • Why Flip Now? Despite their smaller size, flipping now allows the plants to reveal their sex while keeping the room’s progress synchronized. This way, I can focus on the keepers and remove the males efficiently. • Revegging the Favorites: By flipping and selecting now, I’ll be able to reveg any standout females later. For those unfamiliar, revegging is a technique where, after flowering, you revert the plant back to a vegetative state. This method preserves genetics you love and allows you to grow clones or expand the line further. 👉 Benefits of Flipping and Revegging: • Speeds up the identification process without needing clones first. • Lets you preserve special traits in the plants. • Adds flexibility in managing space and time. Environment & Nutrition This week, I’ve maintained a steady environment: • Temps: 22°C with about 66% RH. • Nutrients: Continuing with the Aptus Holland lineup—Regulator, Start Booster, and CalMag Boost. The All-in-One Pellets are still providing slow-release nutrition, and the plants seem to love it! Watering from the bottom remains my go-to, helping keep gnats at bay while ensuring even root hydration. Status: Mid-Flower (Week 7 of Flowering) Water & Feeding: The girls are extremely thirsty, drinking between 1 to 3 liters of fresh water daily per bucket. Metabolism is at its peak. Nutrient Stats: Maintaining a stable pH of 5.8. The concentration (PPM) is hovering around 900–1000, occasionally spiking slightly higher as they feed. Boosters: Heavily utilizing PK boosters to ensure maximum bud density and weight. Climate Management: Temperatures during this week averaged around 28°C, with occasional peaks hitting 30°C. Humidity is strictly managed by a heavy-duty 50L dehumidifier to prevent any moisture issues. Grower’s Note: The buds are noticeably solidifying. The Church and Wonder Pie are stacking weight, and the frost is becoming intense.

Ok so here we are Day 1 of flower!! 😁😁 Thursday 19/08/21 7pm She has came out of her 36 hour dark period looking as healthy and happy as she went in! I've counted AT LEAST 30 Tops but if I'm honest I keep losing count there are so many!!! And she has had her first bloom feed 4L & NO RUN OFF AT ALL!!! She must be thirsty haha! I've gone in at half dose with the Bio Bloom & Top Max just to ease her into it however I went in at full dose with everything else! The C-Result claims to be a 100% organic yield booster which you only use once in you first feed at the beginning of flower but we shall see Other than that I'm going to keep an eye out for tip burn & as long as I don't see any she can go on full dose of bloom feed as well once she drys out!! CANT WAIT TO SEE HER STRETCH!!!! 😜👊

This week's been exciting, they've grown upward a few inches and started to bush out. I did do a mild defoliation taking off a few lower leaves and tucked some of the top bigger fan leaves. I started adding co2 this week and they seem to really be enjoying the added amount. All in all Happy Growing.

dwarf is flowering nicely, was laying in the tent today listening to funky music and smoking :D couldnt get too many pictures because of bad lighting but took a nice little video of the trichomes :) started giving more nutrients as a friend told me flowering plants take up more water and phosphorus to produce buds :) gonna be like a kid on christmas day when i get my medicine harvested :D thanks for keeping up with the diary and the best of luck to you all! Day 52 - 29/10/19 Flushed the dwarf today along with my other plants, runoff had a ppm of 467 and ph 6.45. im going to try and get it closer to 6. with this plant being sprouting test ive come a long way and learned a lot :) its gonna be a small harvest, and is developing buds at a much smaller rate than the other two plants :) still im very excited. maybe week 10-11 harvest if im lucky haha. Day 53 - 30//10/19 Couldnt sleep at all as i have no buds left, after being restless in bed for 4 hours i got up and removed about 6-8 pistils from lower growth and rolled it up. almost the same quality high as street weed so im impressed :) taste was slightly harsh but man. finally happy to be on the road to good quality medicine:) il upsate soon with pictures of the plant! Day 54 - 31/10/19 Pictures and videos updated for all three of my diaries. im entirely happy with my hobby :) my Royal Dwarf is just flowering away on her own time, dont think theres long left for her now, maybe 3 weeks? check the videos and let me know what you think below in the comments! im not expecting this plant to grow any taller just to finish the buds for a nice little harvest :) finally shes developed enough to provide a smell and its much like a tropical fruit, something like a mango but i couldnt quite put my finger on it :) i love fruity smoke so roll on the last few weeks of flowering :) (i hope)

09/13/2018 Nutes up to 2/3strength, going up to full at next reservoir change. She is putting on nice growth, had to raise light due to leaf burn, but only one leave affected, I think I will flip to flowering next week. She has 9fingered leaves but in veg she's very Indica like, hopping she has more sativa like flower stretch.🙏 Topped and lite defoliation.

Easy week, girls have been doing pretty good. The cronk nutrients are a bit of a learning curve. Very potent stuff, I have been working my way up and am still at 1/2 recommended dose. Noticed some yellowing starting on the bottom leaves, have started to increase nutrient dose, hopefully no burn. VPD has been good, they are just chugging along. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

only half way thru week 8, but Im going be too busy to update this over the weekend. unfortunately, the Gelato turned male, so Ive got 4 females (from orginally 8) three GG4, & one GSC. pistils are poppin everywhere, but as the true 1st week of flowering, nothing too fun to see. so far leaves look great, no ph imbalance issues like last grow.

Two girls one cup week 2.. thanks for stopping by and checking out my experiment :) no need to rotate them.. they're doing it all on their own 🤣. hit the girls a little hard with the light last week when i turned it up to warm things up in there. kinda blasted em with 22 DLI and the light may have caused the curling on the Godzilla Cookies. all is well, and theyre moving right along. light currently 18in up, and hitting them with 14 DLI. running the 1/2 strength GHE light feed week 2 since last sundays RES change. will prob keep this RES until this sunday. just top off and PH adjust 8am/8pm daily. kinda excited to see the explosion of growth throughout this week. 3rd true set popping out of both GC and WG, and started LST them their separate ways as early as possible. contemplating topping after 5th or 6th node. havent made up my mind as to when yet. we shall see. roots poking their way through the drainage holes in the bottom of the upper growing chamber. Will have to add a stone to the RES here in a few days time. GHE light feed 1/2 strength week 2 (measurements are per 2gal on 500 scale): Total nitrogen - 47.5 ppm PPM range - 200-275 ppm Spring Water/Tap mix - 220 ppm (calmag and hydroguard already added) Micro 3.6mL - 144 ppm Grow 3.4mL - 77 ppm Bloom 2.6mL - 41 ppm Total = 482 ppm GHE is pretty damn accurate on that ppm range huh? *so far they seem to be loving life.. sooner or later this light won't be able to keep up with their needs. Probably sooner with the rate they're going. *figured I keep them on the 1/2 strength week 2 GHE Flora feed for now. They've been moving right along, and I don't want to over feed em. Next RES change will get bumped up for sure. Made a nozzle for the reptile fogger since the one it had was made for a 1" hose. MUCH better distribution of moisture now. *Wedding Glue def showing signs of being under fed. Taking up more water than it needs to get those nutes. Causing droopy leaves. Hopefully she can wait until the start of week 3 for a bump up. *Nute levels dropping every 12h as expected. Going to crunch numbers tonight to see how much on a 12hr basis to see if we're ready to get bumped up. If so RES changes will be weekly still, just on the week mark instead of Sunday. *WG said fuck 5 leaves and went straight for 7! Crossing my fingers she gets 13 of em so I can break a personal record of 11. That is unless the ruderalis takes over and puts a stop to them multiplying every node. *****anyone got some pointers on how to go about getting a sponsorship? Could use a little 300w artificial sun to brighten up a cloudy day. And to finish these girls right.

Hey guys. For this week i upload some videos 1 video per plant. I am not giving any more the bio nova autoflower supermix, i m thinking on let them going only with water until the end, but lets see. Plant 5 is close to harvest i think on the end of this week. Plant 1 and 4 are doing good on flowering. Plant 2 is slowly flowering Plant 3 is still in middle of the transition to flowering, is going very slow. I think she probably is blocked because of the size of the pot and light . When i harvest plant 5 the others will have more space, and i can bend some branches to increase the bud quality. The big question is, when harvest? its the first time im doing this and i am afraid of doing that wrong. Hope the videos can help someone to help me :D I have also made a video of plant 5 on a more close look, not to much quality but for now its what i can get , sorry 28/05 day 69 small trichome update of plant 3,4 and 5. Plant 1 and 2 still on pre flowering analysing the trichomes, i would say, Plant 3 and 4 need almost 2 more weeks Plant 5 - probably only 1 week more, so up to almost week 12 plant 1 and 2 - will take much time as fotoperiodic LOL

la semana empiezan mostrando un estado muy bonito y gozan de humidificador nuevo. Primeras comprobaciones de temperatura y humedad con el humidificador al mínimo, como puede verse en la foto del dia antes, dia 15, apenas no ha cosumido nada de agua por lo que aumentaremos el caudal y tiempo en el temporizador analógico. Así aumentaremos también un poco más la humedad sin tantos altos y bajos Pasados unos 5 dias volví a podar dejando únicamente un nudo por planta y un doblado de ramitas. A los 21 dias volví a podar del primer nudo de cada rama, hojas y yemas.

Had some slow flower growth due to under fertilizing and overall not building my soil well enough for such monster plants. Learned alot from my second grow so far! After fixing Feeding problems they are fattening really fast! Think i have around 3-4 weeks left at least. Hope they make it.

These buds are extremely dense with a delicious fruity aroma.
