Hey GrowDiaries! What a week it’s been! My plant’s growth has been off the charts, reaching an impressive height of 96 centimeters. 🌿📏
Here’s the scoop:
Burst of Growth: This plant's not just growing; it's soaring! Reached a towering 96cm in height. Feels like it's reaching for the stars!
Bloom Phase Nutrition: Still on track with the bloom-specific nutrition. It’s all about giving the plant exactly what it needs during this crucial phase.
Telegram Bot Tweaks: I’ve upgraded my trusty Telegram bot. Squashed some bugs and made it even smarter. Now, it shows the status of the automated watering system along with the usual temperature, humidity, and other vital stats.
Alert Threshold Adjustments: I’ve customized the alert thresholds to match the plant’s current phase. If, for instance, the temperature spikes, I get a notification. Staying one step ahead!
A Problem-Free Week: Overall, the week went super smooth, and the plant looks absolutely fabulous. It's thriving, and I couldn’t be happier.
And a short update on my plans for next week.
I'm gearing up for some tech tweaks in my green haven. 🌿🔧
Here's what's on the agenda:
Calibrating the Soil Moisture Sensor: Next week, I'm planning to calibrate my soil moisture sensor. It’s a nifty piece of tech that uses capacitive technology.
So, how does it work? These sensors measure the water content in the soil based on the electrical capacitance.
Basically, the more water in the soil, the higher the capacitance. It’s like a mini superpower for understanding soil moisture!
Dealing with Environmental Factors: The catch is, the sensor's readings can be influenced by temperature and air humidity.
I plan to make some smart corrections to minimize these effects.
The goal? To get super accurate moisture readings, unaffected by external conditions. It’s all about precision!
With these tweaks, I'm aiming for a perfect balance in my plant's environment. Fingers crossed for a week of tech triumphs and happy plants!

I cutted off the main cola of GG accidentally, so we have GG LST, GG LST + topping and LH growing naturally.
Rain days/no sunny days they stay indoors as u can see. (20hours indoors 400HPS and 12 hours outdoors direct sunlight)
Gonna decrease nutrients because of the apparence of the leaves, "plastic leaves effect" let me know what u will do in comments ! DAY 39 AND 40 GORILLAS AND DAY 30 LH
18/04/2020 day 35 of LH and day 44 and 45 of the gorillas. They starting the full bloom and swating crystals. Smell increased considerably. I water more nowadays because she drinks a lot ! enjoy todays vid in the terrace :D

i’m definitely starting to notice my buds fattening up, the smell is increasingly getting stronger every day! I am watering every three days at this point. On my next watering I’m going to incorporate overdrive as well as mother of all blooms for this final stretch. This is my first grow and I’m getting a little nervous about the drying and curing process I’ve been watching a bunch of videos trying to prepare myself the hardest thing for me is going to be the heat and trying to stop my plants from drying too quickly.

The plant is drinking over 3 gallons of water every day. I’ve lowered the PPM’s to 600. Everything seems to be ok now. I will try to change the reservoir water every 5 days from now on.
She started to smell amazing! Very lemony 🍋
P.S. Lowerd the TDS to 550 PPM on day 46.
Also just realized that I stressed my plan with to much light. I moved the light at 13” and dimmed to 95% ... I will continue to dim it 2% every day...

Ya marcó su sexo 3/3 hembras, las condiciones climáticas si están siendo óptimas en este espacio.

One was more bushy and was a little behind. As I said, they had some heat stress and I think the 15-liter pots are too small when the environment is hotter.
Still, they are totally worth growing and joy to smoke. They don't need much curing and the weed is very very strong.
Going to try this strain again very soon!!

Tropicanna Banana is all done. 2 weeks in the jars to cure now.
got just over 2 ounce of this plant so not too bad. should be a good daytime smoke.

Neem oil + B-52 sprayed on leaves last week made them curl down a bit. But she’s feeling good. I think some N is needed (some leaves are about to turn yellow). It’s definitely time to start with NPK nutes!
Day 18 update: changed reservoir solution (removed the one with Voodoo Juice, Tarantula, Piranha and Rhino Skin) and added the first NPK nutes. 1ml/L of Connoisseur A+B didn’t trigger the PH Perfect formula in the solution: it decreased the PH a little, but not totally. I had to fix with some PH- from General Hydroponics. With a starting PPM of 130 (tap water), actual PPM in the reservoir is 547. Will see how runoff one changes over next days.
Day 19 update: on day 18 I noticed a burned leaf. Today I got a couple more, which means that some overfeeding’s going on. I immediately switched back to tap water with PH 5.8. I don’t know if that’s related to foliar solution of B-52 + Neem oil, or to nutes I gave her for one week (fungi and bacteria + silica). What I understood here is that Silver Haze doesn’t like nutes too much. Will be giving half dosage and not more in the future!
Day 21 update: I had some days with just tap water and the baby seems healthier now. Since runoff PPM was 137, I added NPK nutes + B-52 + Voodoo Juice + Rhino Skin back, with dosage of 1/6 of the usual 2ml/L: 21L of reservoir water + a few more liters for eventual evaporation + 7ml of each product instead of 42ml each. New PPM in the reservoir is 234.

Very satisfied with this genetics. From bud to harvest in only 60 days. Once dried and trimmed I got 89 grams of beautiful buds, with a very intense aroma. This plant never gave me any problems, it grew very fast and healthy despite very hot, dry days and the presence of aphids

Veg Week 4 Day 28 to 34 - 4/24 to 4/30
A lot more to talk about this week. It's time to start the AutoPot resevoir feed, 2nd Topping, and Wire Training
I waited until I saw 3 new nodes of growth (day 29) and then I topped those branches back to the first node leaving a stump for the new nodes to grab as they swell in growth. The branches are quite more stretched than I am used to, so a break is required on the Y branches as they thicken up. I tried not to break the skin and used knitting needles to smash the branches where I wanted them to bend. All went well. I then used ties to the soil to hold them down while they turn back up to the lights. By the end of the week I moved the wire ties to anchor on the main stem instead of the soil
Feed this week was a reservoir feed of 200ppm total before add-ins. I used 200ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and then added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0). I then also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 6.1
Feed plan next week will be a another ph decrease and nute increase. I will also Intro BloomMix - Intro AirDome Air Line - 3rd Top/Train

Tag 63: Die Pflanze erholt sich nur schlecht, ich vermute es war die Hitze vorletze Woche. Aber der Schaden zeigt sich wohl erst jetzt so nach und nach. Genau da wo es Kühler wurde 😲
Tag 65: Habe die verbrannten Blätter entfernt, doch auch die neuen Blätter sehen auch nicht wirklich gut aus. Die Pflanze hat Millionen winzige neue Zweige ausgebildet.
Die müsste ich eigentlich auch noch alle entfernen irgendwann. Ich bin am überlegen die Pflanze platt zu machen.
Tag 66: Ich habe die Pflanze schweren Herzens platt gemacht 😭. Da war einfach der Wurm drinnen. Ich will die Sorte aber so bald wie möglich erneut growen.
