In this week, I started defoliating because the plant got bushier than last week and its blocking small colas underneath. I noticed that they are still potential colas blooming so i had to LST the plants by spreading it so the light would penetrate. This will be the last week for nutrients starting next week (week 10) I will flush the plants, just ph balanced water for the remaining weeks.

This girl started showing her pistils 3 days ago. I amped up her feeding with some extra Budswell Guano. The growth has been exploding pre-flowering.

She’s in flower and growing a whopping 2.5 inches a day or more! 😍 I mean seriously 💯 I’ve topped her and trained her and will continue until the scrog and let it do its own work from there! I plan to defol her on her last week of flower and I’ll flush once even though I don’t have to! As I want to put ice cubes and get some hue going!

*** RESULTS ARE IN *** Final results are in! Updated with pics of dry-trim and weigh-in :) Total yield was 228g of bud + 45g trim to be used for tincture. Total weight 273g / 9.75oz This was way beyond what I was expecting! Was hoping to get around 6oz from this grow, so the final result has absolutely blown my mind. But more importantly, it's a !!REALLY!! good smoke :) I've taken half oz off the top and put the rest into mason jars for curing, but even without a cure, the taste is good - sweet and creamy. The smell has come on LOTS through the drying process. When I chopped, the smell was fragrant, but not too strong. Now, you can smell it across the house and no mistake. It packs a punch too, very potent high - Can't wait to share with a few friends :) ********** Well, this has been an awesome experience for my first grow. Thankfully, these girls were super strong - they took a LOT of abuse in terms of high temps (up to 38C some days) and survived me being an idiot in the early days and not really knowing what I was doing. But here we are! Almost didn't want to chop them down..... but I got over that pretty quick. Total wet weight from both was 1339g (47.8 oz), of which about 150g is popcorn / larf. Super impressed with the yield :) My aim is to be self sufficient, in terms of yield being able to last long enough for another grow cycle to complete. With a rough estimate of 3 months per cycle, and based on my current usage of approx half oz a week, I would need this to result in about 6oz when dried, and I think this could be achievable. I will update the dry weight in due course. Can't speak to the quality yet. As tempting as it is to quick dry a test nug for a cheeky toke, I'll wait for it to dry properly, so I can really appreciate it. I've waited this long to harvest, another couple of weeks won't kill me. Also, I still have some of my current stash (hopefully the last weed I'll ever have to buy!). It's really difficult to be patient though, because DAMN it looks good. I'll give the buds a good manicure and dry trim when they're ready. It smells really good too! The smell is not overly powerful, it doesn't slap you in the face like some weed does, but it's delicious! Fresh, bursting oranges, with just an undertone of that unmistakable weed smell......It's like The Man from Del Monte is stood behind you in a queue, and he has an eighth of dank in his pocket that he doesn't think anyone else can smell. If I had to say I've learned anything along this journey, it's that it's better to be prepared. Research things that COULD happen and have necessary stuff on hand when you need it. Don't wait until that deficiency shows before ordering what you need and finding out it'll take 2 weeks to ship (fuck you, covid-19). Oops! Well, the two days in the 80s and nights in the 70s sent my girls into high desert flower! That and two out of season rain days and BOOM! We are now a flower farm! To be honest, I wasn’t sure at first- then, yesterday morning, three bees bee lined and flew to each of the bud sites. My hand wringing (was it or wasn’t it flowers?) was answered - by Mother Nature herself without muss or fuss. No more salad! Flowers! Also, a shock to no one, I bought a ruler yesterday, and while I listed my plants as 29 inches, I sadly have no idea what 12 inches really is. They are about 18 after supercropping. Needless to say other measurements were, sadly reconsidered…. 7/31 transferred banana mango to a 30 Gallon pot 💪

Weather was already cold, she has long flowering for our climate.

She got flipped on day 36. Saw pistils a couple of days later. She isn't big, but she's a beauty. I think this strain would be better left to grow naturally rather than pissing around LST'ing. The response hasn't been what i expected. The proof is in the end product though so let's see😁🏻

He transplantado los clones a macetas nuevas, los he puesto bien profundo porque me parecía que estaban muy largos, agregué vermiculita y estopa de coco, en el sustrato, así como Mykos de Xtreme cerca de las raíces, lo he probado antes y va genial para desarrollo radicular. La tierra nueva estaba muy seca por eso el volumen, pensaba hacer una poda apical pero no estoy seguro si me ha salido un FIM porque intenté partir solo la punta para no entorpecer el desarrollo vegetativo, pero estaban muy deshidratadas y he tenido que pellizcar con las uñas. Veremos qué ocurre. La planta madre tiene unas hojas que nacen con sectores de un color verde más tierno, pero con el tiempo se vuelven verdes como las otras, también han salido algunas hojas con forma distinta, intentaré luego subir unas fotos, los clones aún no muestran nada de esto, podría ser que la mutación esté solo en algunas ramas y los clones no tienen esas mutaciones? Me gustaría verlos en floración para ver si vale la pena mantener a la madre, es la que desarrolla los tallos menos fuertes pero también he comprobado que es la que mejor resiste el frío, la madre tuvo pulgones y los clones también pero parece que los he eliminado con spruzit, espero no aparezcan pero por si a caso intentaré hacer otra fumigación. Con la nueva maceta están muy cerca del foco, es un LED y no produce mucho calor pero me da miedo las quemaduras de hojas, veré qué puedo hacer con eso. We have a stand out! There is one beautiful girl that is showing some beautiful colour, structure, frostiness, and fade ❤️ they are all very dense and frosty but this one girl has stolen the show. I cut their nutrients to almost nothing after running phd water for two waterings consecutively, still a few more weeks to go.
