Day 1 of flower 8/2/25

I think they have finished stretching as their starting to produce bud sites, so hopefully they stay around this size as it’s the sweet spot for me, not too small but not huge trees, their still just under 1m tall.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 3 weeks into flower, and the stretch has just finished. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I did start to add a PK booster this week pushing the EC up to 1.4. I also will be switched the light from V1 to the F1 Spectrum at the beginning of this week, and will be integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The tallest plants are the Sundae Driver and the Durban Nights at 42" and the Red Hot Cookies is the shortest plant at 38" however they all look happy and healthy and capable of easily giving up a half pound each. The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off. We did get an unexpected heat wave this weekend and it has been a struggle keeping the heat and humidity down but the flowers are just starting so no need to worry about mold or anything like that yet. As soon as this heat wave is over the temps should be good to go the rest of the way this is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region. I did defoliate twice this week and I may do one or two more rounds before just letting them do their thing. Not much to do from here on out except make sure the reservoir is full and the PH is in the proper range. This is a strain that is very easy to grow and resistant, after the fourth week it sticks a lug, and does not need a lot of vitamins, it grew with only 13 and 12 hours of light and went through cloudy days and a lot of humidity

The Gorilla Cookies are still doing alright, but 2 of 3 are showing some lockout or deficiencies. Despite this they are still doing ok. The one that doesn’t have this issue is doing great, getting fat and greasy! They are starting to stink up my house, had to turn the fan off Auto and just keep it running non stop otherwise my entire house smells like the good good 😊 I’m not super concerned, I checked the runoff, and it wasn’t too out of wack, 6.4 ph… the leaves look like they are having some serious P and K deficiencies, but I don’t want to feed anymore as we are approaching the end of their cycle fast, and they are continuing to develop, just not as good as they could have. RH was lowered, and temps have been consistent 77-79 degrees. Watering now approx. 3 litres every 4-5 days but I expect this to slow down soon. Happy Gardening 👊🇨🇦❤️🌱

Week 8 of flower... swelling up great... smelling beautifully... trichomes are getting cloudier. Will check again next Monday and see if she needs to go another week.

Esa familia, ya estamos de vuelta, y es que me sorprende en primer lugar la intensidad de luz y lo bien que crece cada ejemplar, no da casi calor así que para el verano irá de lujo. Nuestras candi caramelo acaban de terminar su 3 semana y es que pronto trasplantaremos a macetas de 7L, controlamos la temperatura, y la humedad la tenemos algo baja pero sin problema alguno, estás candy caramelo de Zambezaseeds están comportándose muy bien en interior, pronto cambiaremos el ciclo a 12/12 , en nada pediremos la tierra y al lío. Hey guys, it's been a great journey but I've finally hung my Stardawg out to dry! Yesterday was their last day totalling 8 weeks on flower. Realistically they could have benefited from a further week because the lower buds are somewhat underdeveloped but then I would risk losing the preferred sweet high smoke of the top buds. With this being my first attempt it's been a great learner not only for how to care for the plants but also the environment. As soon as these went into flower and started stretching I knew that putting 6 in a 2.4 x 1.2m tent was a bad idea. They just got so big which is the cause of the lower sites not being as good as the top colas. Despite that I'm really happy with the outcome and I'm hoping ive got 30oz+ of real good quality nugs. All of the top colas have turned a gorgeous violet colour too which you can see on the pictures and I absolutely love. For my next grow I've gone with 6 fastbuds strains which hopefully will go under a scrog. Check back next week for the harvest and weigh in!

Tempature was getting to 60° at night and 67° during lights on. Bought foam board to put under the tents and an oil space heater to combat cold temps. Defoliated on 11-6-23. Top Dressed with BuildaSoil Craft blend ¼ Cup

Week 8 in the books! The aroma is getting stronger every day and the trichomes just keep multiplying - it's like they're on a mission Every time I open the tent, I feel like Alice in Wonderland, just standing there for ages admiring what nature can pull off. This strain has been super rewarding so far - the buds keep packing on size, and just when I think they've hit their limit, the next week they surprise me again! They're getting denser, stickier, and honestly, I couldn't be happier. I did run into a few hiccups with the root system in these later weeks, but the genetics stayed strong and pushed through like champs💪. The front-left lady looks a little ahead of the others - pistils and trichomes suggest she's racing toward the finish line. I'll probably start harvesting her this week. Week#5FLO, Aptus nutrients 💪🏻

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 56 days and flowering stage was 75 days total (harvested tops at day 64th) the total weight of dry buds was : (plant #1 & #3 top buds 56 G + lower buds 22 G ) 78 G + (plant #2 top buds 47 G + lower buds 18 G ) 55 G + (plant #4 top buds 120 G + lower buds 67 G ) 187 G = 367 G
