Tough going first few weeks going to look close on the postmortem for the roots and see if I can tell what was causing the issues with Phos, Ca, Mg lockouts. Foliar saved the day Was very disappointed in the germination rate which caused delays in grow cycle and threw off my whole grow system. It forced me into 7 gallon pots to try and save the yield and THAT may be where the issues arose with the pots, I had to use another bin of soil for the extra soil. Still I should have known better and just stuck with the 5 gallon pots but was trying to get yield. Worked too on Layla and Maggie, nothing was going to help the stunting on Brandy which I dropped from the grow. So 60% germination is not acceptable unless its tomatoes... Dont get me wrong though, this strain has a LOT of good qualities, it not only survived my foul up but produced one excellent plant and one monster out of the three that germed. May try it again next year, think it would be stellar in coco. Beyond that a quality product, just had issues. Easy-ish trim and harvest For numbers on Layla (Week 12) 12/19 HARVEST DAY LAYLA wet yield 578 grams Dry weight 219 grams Maggie wet weight 886 grams Into dry DRY weight 255g Layla 219g + Maggie 255g = 474g Not letting me rate the Aurora Innovations Soul Peak PK and Finisher I give it 4 stars

Hello Everyone and welcome back! Its been another tough week so I hope you are all hanging in there safe. So in this week at the start I did a pretty good defoliation to allow more light penetration and to clean up the lowers on the plant. By the time I took these pics it is hardly noticeable. During this week I also did two waterings. The first was 20L of water with 3tsp freeze dried coconut and 3 tbsp of microbial mass. The 2nd was 20L of water with 1/8 tsp of sulphate of potash, 3 tsp coconut, 50ml liquid kelp and 4 grams of TM7 Ful-Humix. After this most likely I will only use the freeze dried coconut for the remainder of flower. Its really cool to see the flowers develop and watch them start to swell. While they were younger I had added a few bamboo poles but I added 2 to each pot trying to stick to the outsides of the pot as I did it to not damage the roots too much. I think they will get heavy enough to need support so I am trying to be proactive to protect them. The flowers have a pretty great smell happening when I open up the tent. End of the 3rd week of transition and plants are still lazy as hell getting to flower. Thereโ€™s minor pistoling but no cotton balls at all. Theyโ€™re slow all around. We ended up culling down to a 50/50 split of males and females and now itโ€™s just a question of whether or not the females actually flower. Weโ€™ll see I guessโ€ฆ still waitโ€™nโ€ฆ.

Day 64 - I've been patiently waiting for the time to come, and it's finally here! Changed the lights over to 12/12 to send the tent into flower. Current light settings R99 W99 B50 as suggested by California Lightworks. I did a full reservoir change - switching over to bloom nutes. I also added some Si28 and P31 Microbes to the reservoir to test out this new product that I was fortunate enough to receive samples of. I've seen the results of others with crazy booming root growth.... Let's see what happens! Day 65 - I swear, it's like she's been waiting for me to flip the light cycle. I kicked one plant out of the tent so now there's even more room for improved air circulation and light distribution. This plant is a serious beast! Day 67/ Day 3 of Flower - Last massive round of defoliation before I sit back and let her do her thang. โœŒ๏ธ

It grew pretty good under the Unit Farm UF4000 and UF2000 lights. The UF2000 was add to the group grow in flowering. Looks like it is leafy bud, but I imagine the flower here has some kick. I uploaded the harvest video. Sorry about the dogs. Will report when I get to smoke report. Thank you Bomb Seeds, and Unit Farm. ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฑ Thank you grow diaries community for the likes, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel. ๐Ÿป๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ‘ Happy Growing ๐ŸŒฑ https://youtube.com/channel/UCAhN7yRzWLpcaRHhMIQ7X4g

Germination 27 September 2023 Heya ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿค™๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฑ In the heart of a humble garden, a miraculous journey is about to unfold. Beneath the soil's dark, nurturing embrace, a seed lies dormant, awaiting the precise moment to burst forth into life. It is a marvel of nature, a tiny capsule of potential, encoded with the blueprints of the plant it aspires to become. As the heavens open, raindrops penetrate the earth, quenching the thirst of the soil and signaling to the seed that its time has come. The seed absorbs this life-giving moisture, swelling as it takes in water. It's as if the seed is awakening from a long slumber, stretching its embryonic limbs for the very first time. Within this subterranean realm, the seed's outer coat softens, and a tiny rootlet begins to emerge. This is the radicle, the seed's first root, and it instinctively knows to journey downward, anchoring itself into the soil. It is the plant's lifeline, seeking out water and nutrients essential for growth. Simultaneously, a delicate shoot, known as the plumule, makes its way upwards, drawn by an invisible force towards the sky. It is a daring expedition, fraught with obstacles, as it navigates through the soil. Yet, guided by an innate sense of direction, it perseveres. Finally, breaking through the soil's surface, the shoot unfurls its first leaves, miniature versions of what they will one day become. These are the cotyledons, a pair of leaves that have been stored within the seed, packed with nutrients to sustain the young plant in its earliest days. As the sun's rays touch these fledgling leaves, photosynthesis begins. It's a momentous occasion, the plant's first breath, as it converts sunlight into energy. The seedling, still fragile yet full of promise, has successfully embarked on the first chapter of its life. From here, it will face countless challenges and opportunities, but for now, it stands as a testament to the remarkable resilience and complexity of nature. Thanks for reading๐Ÿค™๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿค™๐ŸŒฑ

Getting better day by day, we did try to correct a small calmag issue which was observed last week, but not really a big deal as we are already started to provide bloom nutrients, at the moment the girls are doing great under the TS1000 ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿค—

One more week of veg and we will be flipping the lights to 12/12. The blueberry pie is starting to put out a nice smell. I've topped this plant along with a bunch of defoliation. The structure for this plant is perfect. I was thinking about putting up a trellis but I decided not to in the end. It would make it very difficult for me to get to the 2 back plants. I need more room in my basement! Haha we will flip next week and start increasing nutrient solution for flower. Can't wait to see the bud structure on these nts.

This week the beautiful lady was set into final 20L Pot. Just a small defoliation of the biggfest leaves. Bending down the stemps with a scrog net. Light hitting with around 550 - 650 PPFD.
