Slush Mint Cake

She was easy and enjoy to grow and description about this strain is spot on like most DPs strain descriptions. Only annoying thing for me was long leaf stems. She grew good size on veg but after flipping flower cycle she didnt stretch much. Buds are little smaller than average and longer node distance but they are rock hard and packed nice amount of trichomes and she got little purple colors on buds. Stronger smell started to appear very late flower and it was like cali-sweetness, gassy, fruity and little sour. 1 plant yielded 42g and flowered 52 days from pistils or 57 days from 12/12 light cycle. Smoke report: -Potency 9/10: Very nice and pretty strong relaxing body high with uplifting feel but not sleepy. Good for movies, gaming and just chilling. -Smell 8.5/10: Cali-sweetness, sour and gas. Could be little more louder. -Taste: 9/10: Almost same as smell sweet and sour with little gas background. -Bag appeal: 9/10: Thick dense buds with very nice amount of trichomes and good but not strongest smell.

So this is the end of my run with this all-around-amazing Slush Mint Cake. I'm actually kind of sad because I think it will be REALLY hard to beat this strain in most measurable dimensions. Super delicious aroma, super easy to grow, a buttload of trichomes and (from a few test-buds) a great high! No primadonna stuff like being fussy about nutrients or hermaphroditism or weak stems or low yield or or or ... no NOTHING. She doesn't just smell delicous, she smells ALOT. My pheno appears to have a super high terpene% .. which is wild because right now at the end of flower she doesn't even really smell weed-like much. During the last days, when the tent was open, it smelled like someone was making a caramel heavy "Vienna Melange" in the next room. Vaped the gummybear type aroma is still apparrent too! Really no "skunky" or "cheesy" aroma in this phenotype. Will update this one with some dried bud pix when drying is finished. Budpix1: Damn sorry for taking so long these are the buds from the middle/lower section of the plant. Still gotta take a good pic of the main buds which have been curing for some 3 weeks now I think. But.. you know.. I'm lazy! I'm "curing lower buds on the plant" as an experiment this time and after three weeks they are actually dry now. Should have skipped the last watering of the plant. (it's obvious afterwards..)

The smc is a supreme category strain, dark colored leaves with purple colored buds. The menthol background is appreciated at the end of flowering with a mix of gassy and cookie dough background. This strain is must in 2026, i know why she already won cups! Great strain!
