New week, new growth.. Will hopefully start the LST and Topping in a few days. They are really starting to grow. Fan leaves looking healthy and big. Girls coming with vigorous growth now, everything dialled in and happy. Just adjusting the EC/pH as needed when the girls show me the relevant signs/deficiencies if any. D31/D35- Decided they were in a good enough place to start topping the girls, all 6 topped and just some defoliation of the bigger fan leaves that are shading the growth shoots some HST was also done. We were also due a water change, so I cleaned the whole system just to keep things extra cleanly, very important in a RDWC system. I also switched over to a sterile system instead of using beneficial bacteria so I will experiment and see how this goes. Time to let the girls ecover before the next training session. Cruise control for now.

I finally started flowering the crescendo rbx1 and I’ve got to say, she looks great! Green stems and leaves. She fills out this 5x5 pretty well and I’m happy with it. Plucked a couple leaves that blocked prime bud sites and weaved her long arms outwards to fill up my tent and get more light penetration.

These pound cake auto seeds are 100 off rip. I put the seeds in some paper towels on nov29, then put them in the pro-mix potting soil on dec2. Now it's dec4. Only 5 whole days sense. I put the seeds in paper towels, and they have already been born into this world. Thanks, fastbuds, for the seeds. Ever since I saw the seed drop with the pound cake auto, I have had my eye on this strain. I have really wanted to grow a plant with giant giant huge nugs, and I have yet to do so. I have high hope for these guy. I'm only allowed 12 plant and have 10 plants in other other tent. So I will be tossing one of them later 2day. I plan on only bringing one if them to flower. This is my 1st real auto grow so I'm testing the waters in a spare 2x2 tent with my spider farmer 100 board light the newer one with the evo leds. Thanks for reading

So the first week of a 12 on 12 light schedule is behind us. As you can see she started to elongate very well, most of the branches grew out to the same hight without any LST or HST training. The Bilberry Lamp is showing it's quality. You can see that both the spectrum and the power work great for the plant. Nothing special happened this week. She showed her first "hairs". Fed her twice each time with the mentioned dosages from the BAC Organic line. I try to keep na 9 degrees Celsius difference between night and day. Just trying to keep her happy and hope that all goes well.

This week I Realised I'd used the wrong feed chart so I was over feeding 🙄 the leaves burnt on a few plants so I've only fed them water this week and will resume feeding from next week. There are still no pre sex pistils showing but it can't be far off now. As soon as pistils start to show I'll start feeding bloom feed. I've turned the light up to 30000lux using HLG's online calculator for converting a lux meter/app reading to PAR , my light is 3000k which with lm301H Led's works out @ 465ppfd which is about the max the plants can use in veg without supliments co2. Beginning week 9 Plans this week: Make a long time lapse while away this weekend - post more photos too Lollipop Tuck and tie a bit Possibly build a second scrog level?? Thoughts anyone?? Research and purchase or build a “grow room controller” - tent: temp, rh, light(?), co2(?) — rez: ph, ec, temp, water level - maybe more stuff like tie in the cameras, also basement temp and rh, fan and lights and pump contro. Nutrient dosing and ph control would be awesome but likely too pricey— but I’m a geek and this will be fun! I’d prefer a prebuilt system but I’m not totally opposed to building an Arduino/pi style solution (reliability and time to get it right are concerns tho - plus I have an arcade cabinet project I’d like to get to soon) — **ANY THOUGHTS OR ADVICE ANYONE??? To do list: I picked up some angle aluminum and I plan to finally make a single frame for the numerous LED lights Mount things to the wall (temp and humidity sensors, timers, utility light, etc) General cleanup and house keeping - wire management etc Install new portable air conditioner in the basement - this will be a bit of a project - casement windows and other issues Hopefully this week: install a utility sink in the basement and tie into the water lines and waste lines of the house (no more carrying water and waste upstairs!!)

First day in flower and they looking good but there some burnt leaves from to much fertiliser is my diagnosis

Another week complete. As usual pH problems and accompanying nutrient deficiencies. Keeps swings up every 12hrs. Flowers are stacking in size now. Fingers crossed I can make it to the end. Added final part nutrient today, heading into week 8. 1st indoor, 1st auto.

On the end, I believe it's a verry nice strain for a begginer. Even with no feeding, and just regular gardening soil, I had amazing results. The plant was outdoor in the day, indoor during the night, so facing all the agression from the outside.... GG Blackberry ^^ The flowers are verry light, and that's because of the absence of feeding. They are very fluffy and not dense. But they are fully covered of trichomes, and have a pleasant smell and taste. Smooth smoke. So amazing result for my experience, and for the setup :) I'm disapointed about the taste for now. Maybe curing will change the taste, but for me it's mainly "Diesel" and that's definitly not what I was looking for. UPDATE AFTER 1 MONTH OF CURING : Well, i just realize the taste changed, and with a good flower (not too much leaves) i actually felt the taste of... Blackberries. IT's actually amazing :D Not berries, but really blackberries !! I will grow this strain again, but with feeding during veg and flowering, to get bigger and more dense buds. This one was too much leafy, and this is not the best for the taste. My "quest" for the "purple" taste I'm looking for continue. Next batch : I will try Purple Kush (auto) from Buddha Seeds, and Queen Sherbet from Royal Queen Seeds !

Smooth sailing it was this week that's for sure. No further issues with the automated watering, temperature was mild and pretty much maintained a good grow temp for the entire week. Unfortunately I know the mild temps won't last, one day of 26c forecast for this week so once again the internal temp of the tent will rise into the 30s. Oh well, can't do anything about it and as long as the plant stays as happy as it currently is then no problems from my side. Gave the plant a minor defoliation at the start of the week, with the intention of getting as much light to the lower bud sites as possible, with next to no impact on the plant. Buds are certainly plentiful, now I'm just waiting for the time to be right to adjust the nutrients to really give them the best opportunity of reaching their full potential. At the moment plenty of potential this plant is offering. The trichome production is still on the low side but also expect this to change once they start fattening up. Not much else to report. This plant is pretty much taking care of itself I'm happy to say.

What a week for the plant ! huge changes ! you can check all the tutorials into my IG channel : Sawyer_grow First I started the week by topping her. the idea it to let the plant focus on the current 8 colas she already grown. I gave her 3 days to recover then bending the main colas and did some LST to perfect the mainlining. for this grow I changed a bit my tools instead of using some holes in the pot I put some bamboo stick in it with rubber. Hope you like it. now she enter a full week of break. Take care all see you next week.

This week we increased the quantity of fertilizers and transplanted it into a 5 liter container. Next week we will start LST. The total height decreases due to the transplant. We use mycorrhizal fungi (Mykos) in the transplant.

I accidentally gave the babies a drink mixed with a shot of dehumidifier chemicals. I mean, there’s stiff learning curves being a first time grower but that is just thick as pig shit territory. It only dawned on me the next day and I rapidly flushed. Think the orange bud is looking a little healthier, but they are both hanging in there. Chemicalicious.
